Posts: 34 Group: Cadet Member #10 Joined: Sep 23, 2008	Well, it started off because all my friends hated it (they're on the FFVII bandwagon), but after my second time through I thought Squall and Rinoa were really well thought out characters. They're some of the few dynamic characters in the series and actually change throughout the story, something that I haven't noticed too much in other Final Fantasy games. It also helped that FF8 was the first Final Fantasy I played, so it's got a special place in my gaming soul.
