Steampunk is a genre that usually involves changing history or making a new world where technology is powered by steam. For example, there was steampunk story I read once (can't remember the title) that had steam powered space ships. The movie Wild Wild West was an interesting version of steampunk as well, seeing as the giant mechanical spider in it was powered by steam. I will try and make a better explaination later if that one didn't help As for the title, Rag42 got it very close. Igneus means both Fire and Flaming (ocording to a latin dictionary I found over here) and Porta means Opening or Gate. The title is actually a reference to the doorway Rheina uses to enter the corridor; the Flaming Gate. I will be working on Chapter 3 tonight because, as you know, I have been moving and have only just got my computer set up properly
