Random Conversationalist Posts: 252 Group: Upper Classman Member #5 Joined: Aug 25, 2008	With the Ultimecia\Average Girl theory I think I have an idea why she did not kill Squall when she had the chance. With the whole future paradox thing going on, Ultimecia may have known all along that Squall would be the person who defeated her, and that she in the end wanted that to happen. All the trials that Squall faces throughout the game could have been engineered by Ultimecia to ensure that Squall would be powerful enough to end her reign of terror. This theory relies mainly on the idea that deep down inside of Ultimecia's hatred filled soul there is still a little girl who fears what she has become and wants it to end. This would support why she never killed Squall because she see's Squall as the person who will bring about her end and free the little girl inside of her.
