As the sun rolled to noon, Silver Town's bell rang to mark the hour. It was a very clear, sunny day--not a single cloud mozying along in the blue horizon. Just outside of Silver Town rallying cries of victory and battle alike resounded throughout the Trainer's Camp. Today marked the beginning of the Silver Conference; a prestigious match-up of esteemed trainers who had earned all eight badges from Johto's powerful Pokemon gym leaders. Trainers and fans traveling into Silver Town would become witness to a wonderful spectacle. The first thing they would lay their eyes on were several stands and booths that were set-up for this very special event along the streets. They could find anything from all-kinds of different foods to Pokemon merchandise such as plush dolls or Pokemon-print accessories and clothing. Trainers who wished to enter the Silver Conference would have to find the Pokemon Center in the Athlete's village. It was decorated with cascading waterfalls and statues of all of Johto's elite four members, and was the largest building in town aside from the stadium. It was also where all competing trainers would be staying. To be eligible, they would have to present their trainer ID and all eight of Johto's gym badges. All registrations would have to be in by 2 P.M. All of their Pokemon would also be viewable by other trainers via PC. Once registered trainers would have to wait for their name and an opponent to be called before being placed in a match. During the screening matches they would be allowed to use only one Pokemon, and they would only have three battles. They would be judged based on their performance, and it would still be possible to advance with one loss. These preliminary courts were rough, dirt fields with much wear on them. Patches of grass tried to spring up in some places, but there was very little growing through all of the worn-out soil. There were twenty of these fields thinning out the trainers until only the top 48 remained. Once in the semi-finals, the semi-final contestants would be taken to a stadium where the field changed--even during battle. Three Pokemon would be able to fight in these battles and possibly gain advantages through sheer luck. ((Register, walk from the Pokemon Center to the trainer's camp south of the town, and here your name called for battle. You can fight other characters if you want, but if you loose two matches you won't be able to advance. You can only use one pokemon in these battles. The court is fenced in, the size of a basketball court and made of dirt.)) Edited by oniskieth, May 15, 2013, 6:20 pm.

Aaron walked out of the hotel he was staying at for the duration of the Conference and stretched various limbs before letting out a sigh of relief and releasing from their pokeballs his Ninjask and Combee. Almost immediately he heard buzzes of appreciation from both of them and they soon began flying around nearby. Aaron briefly closed his eyes and remembered when all of his pokemon were small enough to be let out regularly. His Spinarak would sit on his shoulder while Larvesta would rest on his head, Pineco liked being carried and Yanma always loved flying around. Now all of his pokemon have gotten too large to really move around freely unless he was traveling. The only ones small enough that he could afford to let fly freely was his Ninjask, Cassidy, and his newest member of the team, a Combee he had named Margaret. He looked up again and saw that Combee was chasing Ninjask, but as expected, the untrained Combee was no match for Ninjask's incredible speed. Aaron laughed out loud as he began moving south towards the registration point. He began thinking of which pokemon he would use for the screening process. Almost any pokemon would do great he was sure. Freddy his Heracross and Bruce his Pinsir are in peak physical condition, Richard the Volcarona, Samantha the Galvantula, and Rachael the Yanmega were both able to use their special attacks in a moments notice to astonishing effect, his Forretress "Betsy", Armaldo "Arnold", and even his Scizor "Steven" plate have never been stronger and they could all take a hit well and give back some pain. The only members of his team he wasn't entirely sure of using for the screening process was his Ariados, Masquerain, Ninjask, and Combee: George, Beatrice, Cassidy, and Margaret. The first three because their skill sets lent more to team battles rather than solo battles, and Combee because she was the newest member to his team and he hadn't spent enough time at all to be battle ready. For now he kept Combee out mostly to become more comfortable around him and his team. After that, he would begin training her to reach everyone else's level. By this time, Aaron had reached the registration area, however, there was a line already there waiting for him. He sighed in slight disappointment and got into the line. Other people must have had the same idea as him to try to get there early to avoid a line such as this. Aaron then began to look around to see if there was anyone around that he knew that he could possibly talk to while he waited. |

Cooper Practically skipping, Cooper glided across the floor to the Pokemon Center's exit. Having just finished the necessary paperwork was an incredible moral booster. Hanging over his left shoulder was the newest addition to his team, Vulpix, and he had only recently hatched it from an egg. Despite its relatively young age Vulpix was as energetic as any other Pokemon, and her contagious smile reflected her master's mood. Opening the Pokemon Center's door Cooper shielded his eyes as they adjusted to the change in light. Gazing through the line his jaw nearly fell off. There were definitely more trainers here then when he first competed, but then again he had barely made the dead line. Looking back at the moment it was kind of funny. Cooper only had three Pokemon at the time, and you're required to have six to enter. Frantically Cooper ran through the woods to catch as many Pokemon as he could in an hour and a half. His inexperienced team is what lead to his early defeat, probably, but now they were disciplined and experienced. Finishing his survey Cooper carried on, but stopped dead in his tracks as he caught a familiar face in the corner of his eye. "Aaron?" Cooper said turning to his old friend. "Long time no see!" |

Crash Bashthim; Pokemon Master So here it was; Silver city. The great city inspired by a legendary bird Pokemon. One that was said to be the counterpart of the Rainbow Pokemon. And if tales of the legendary bird were not exaggerated, this city lived up to- no, surpassed expectations. Crash found it beautiful, especially so from the back of his Braviary, Courage. The streets were teeming with trainers and their Pokemon, many simply here to enjoy the sights and the tournament, while others were here to participate much like Crash himself. He smiled. From here it looked like there would be some good competition. He liked competition, and above that, he liked beating strong competition. The Pokemon center came into view and Courage flew closer to the ground with a motion from his trainer. Before the Braviary could land however, Crash leaped off his back and sprinted for the Pokemon center's doors, absentmindedly aiming a Pokeball over his shoulder to return Courage to his ball with a simple "thanks." Once inside, he released his Crobat, Toxin, from his Pokeball. The Crobat hated being cramped up in his Pokeball, so whenever Crash could, he let him out. Toxin appeared in a flash, giving a happy cry as he jumped into the air and flew a few laps before settling on Crash's shoulders. The boy patted the surprisingly light Crobat and smiled when he began to make a purring sound. "Alright, Toxin, let's go and sign up huh?" "Crooooobat," the Pokemon replied enthusiastically and Crash laughed. "Of course, of course. We'll definitely win this thing, and when we do, I'll get you that food you like. What was it...? Apple pie? "Crobat!" "Haha! Alright, I'll get you heaps! Sheesh, just don't eat them all and get fat. You won't be able to fly for weeks!" Toxin laughed with joy and randomly covered the boy's eyes with his wings. "Hey!" Crash exclaimed. "Stop it! I can't see where I'm go-" CRASH! Crash fell to the ground, eyes a swirling mess of lines. Beneath his head was his Crobat, eyes also two swirls. "Ugh, what did I hit...?" The boy rubbed his eyes and sat up, and behind him Toxin did the same. Crash cast his eyes around and noticed another boy on the ground, and a Vulpix too. So they had crashed into another trainer then? "Oh damn, sorry about that," the boy said, offering Cooper a hand to get up. "I really didn't see you there because SOMEONE-" he shot Toxin a mock glare. The Pokemon looked embarassed and flew onto Crash's shoulders where he muttered his own apology. "-decided it would be funny to cover my eyes!" He laughed awkwardly. "But uh, anyway, my name is Crash. What's yours?" |

After finishing the registration process Aaron began waiting in the area for his name to be called for his first match. Hearing his name called, Aaron turned around looking for an official, but instead saw a familiar face, "Cooper? Wow! Great to see you man! Oh hey look ou-" Aaron tried to warn his friend in time, but he was too late and some rowdy kid with a Crowbat ran into Cooper. The kid seemed nice enough though and introduced himself after explaining what happened, "Oh yeah, pokemon can be real tricksters sometimes. For example, I had this Weedle and Caterpie that always thought it would be hilarious to use String Shot on my legs and make me trip. The good thing about Bugs though is that they mature quickly... Well sometimes at least." After Crush helped Cooper up, Aaron would offer his hand to shake and also introduce himself, "I'm Aaron Grover, nice to meet ya!" |

Here, Katharina had finally arrived at Silver City, where a great tournament was to take place. In front of her were booths and stalls selling all sorts of merchandise. Pokemon balloons were afloat and many people were present. Beside Katharina was none other than her Pokemon, Glaceon. "We're here now." Katharina spoke with her eyes fixed at the scene. Glaceon turned her head to her partner and nodded before responding, "Glaceeeeon!" Katharina and Glaceon would now walk through the huge crowds, passing by both people and Pokemon alike. The two observed the booths and stalls, taking a look at what kind of merchandises were on sale. Good ranged from keychains to food for both humans and Pokemon. Eventually, Katharina had managed to arrive to the Pokemon Center. From there, she would register for the tournament with Nurse Joy. The registration was quick and simple. Katharina had met all of the requirements needed to participate in this tournament. With Glaceon, Katharina had five other Pokemon that are in full health and ready to go. After the registration was complete... "All done!" Nurse Joy informed Katharina. "You are now registered for the Silver Conference! Please head to the Trainer's Camp, which is located south of here!" Katharina gave Nurse Joy a nod. "Thank you." She turned to Glaceon and nodded to her as well. "Let's get going now." Both Katharina and Glaceon turned around and exited the Pokemon Center. From there, Katharina and her partner advanced south, heading towards the Trainer's Camp, where many other Pokemon Trainers would be waiting. |

Cooper "Huh?" Cooper said with a confused look. Before he could piece everything together he was knocked onto his side. His head hit the pavement with an audible smack, and Vulpix let out a cry of pain. Rolling onto his back the trainer realized he had landed on two of Vulpix's tails--along with having its tails nearly crushed the fall hurt Vulpix. Sitting up Cooper scooped Vulpix into an arm before taking Crash's hand. "Coop," Cooper said with his worried eyes cast down at his Pokemon; Vulpix would probably have to sit the day out now. Rubbing Vulpix's stomach Cooper was able to get his Pokemon to giggle, which in turn heightened his own mood. "Thats the spirit, girl." "Accidents happen." Cooper said looking back up at Crash and Aaron. The trainer put on a friendly face before joking with the two. "At least you didn't run into my Tyranitar." As Cooper, Aaron and Crash continued their conversation a black haired trainer arrived on the scene. He was wearing a solid black t-shirt over a long sleeved white shirt and skinny blue jeans. Reaching to the back of his belt he produced a pokeball before throwing it on the ground near the trio. Standing in it's wake was an Umbreon, and immediately it began casting Heal Bell. "Wow, you have a Tyranitar now? That's fucking awesome man! Sadly its obviously beaten out in power by my Combee," he says jokingly as he points to his Combee which was still trying to catch his Ninjask. Aaron looked up and saw that they were still going at it and laughed, "Haha, I don't know if I should be finding this as funny as I am. Its sad too because I know she will never catch her either, Cass is just too damn fast," he finished with a grin as his Combee tiredly flew down onto Aaron's shoulder with a defeated look on her face. "Aww, its ok Mar, you'll be strong in your own special way one day," he said as he patted her head. Aaron looked over and saw the dark haired person step over and release an Umbreon that soon began using Heal Bell, "Ahh, killer! Umbreon's are my favorite evolution of Eevee man, that's awesome that you have one!" |

"Huh? Oh yeah, that would be bad." Crash laughed awkwardly and shook hands with the other trainer that had appeared. "Nice to meet you, Aaron. If you didn't catch it before, my name is Crash. Oh, and this right here-" he pointed at Crobat, "-this is Toxin. He's been my partner and my best friend since I was little." He smiled fondly and scratched the pokemon behind his ear. Toxin made that same purring sound. "I can't think of any better friend." It suddenly hit him that he hadn't registered yet. Registration would be closing soon, so it was best to get it over with now. "Uh, anyway, it was a pleasure guys, but I've gotta go register." He turned to Cooper and smiled. "Oh, and sorry again. I hope you and your Vulpix are ok.... Anyway, catch ya both later!" And with that he was off, heading straight for the registration desk where he began the registration process. |

Cooper Cooper smiled as Aaron went on about Tyranitar and Combee. He missed his friend's upbeat attitude. When Crash took his leave Cooper gave him a wave. "It was nice meeting you!" He hollered at his retreating figure. Crash's departure reminded Cooper that he needed to get to the Trainer's Camp. It was around this time that the dark haired boy appeared, and ordered his Umbreon to use Heal Bell. The voice that gave the command was familiar to Cooper, and as the trainer turned his head he instantly recognized a trainer he had met in the Hoenn region, Vince. Not this guy... Cooper thought as he looked at him. He couldn't complain, though. Vulpix's injuries were healed, and she'd probably be able to fight now. Reluctantly Cooper thanked Vince, but he was already walking away, having completely ignored Aaron. "That was Vince. He's a trainer from the Hoenn region, but you wouldn't know it by looking at his Pokemon." Cooper explained to Aaron. "He specializes in the Dark Type, and he's one of the strongest trainers I've ever met. He's...he's kind of a jerk." Vince "I'm guessing you haven't finished your screening battles yet. Wanna head over to the trainer's camp with me?" Cooper said to Aaron. "It'll be just like old times." |

Katharina had finally arrived at the Trainer Camp. There were many trainers present, all of them with at least a Pokemon out of their Pokeball. Of course, her opponents would be selected at random, so there's no telling which trainer among this crowd will become her first opponent. Moments later, a man with a Crobat dashed passed her. Katharina herself had hoped that she wouldn't be swarmed by crowds of people. After all, she has made herself rather prominent in the Pokemon world. While she is not at the level of Alder, Cynthia, Steven, and Lance, she has managed to surpass gym leaders like many others such as Drayden, Volkner, Sabrina, and Crasher Wake. This was also not her first championship. Katharina has been through the known Pokemon regions: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. However, Katharina felt that she wasn't that famous, therefore, she would not expect a bunch of people swarming at her, especially the paparazzi. Sometimes, they say that it is better to not be famous than being famous. Anyway, Katharina simply wandered around with her Glaceon, waiting until she would be called up to battle. |

Katharina's Battle Over the loudspeaker Katharina could here her name called to court 13. The Courts were lined in numerical order, and the court number was above the entrance. It would be tough to miss. As the girl made her way to the battle ground she would notice two officials standing across from the entrance. One was a referee, and held a red and green flag. The second official had clipboard, and requested to see Katharina's trainer ID before allowing her to take position in the red or green corner. Her opponent entered a few minutes later, and after going through the same routine as Katharina took their position in the opposite corner. ![]() Katharina would notice the second official scribbling on the paper constantly. They would be judged in a manor of things. It would be possible to win every battle but fail to pass the screenings. It should be noticed that moves would need to be kept under control, and if stray moves touched the fence the trainer would be penalized. Moves with large range, such as Earthquake, were advised to avoid using during the screening. The shaking ground would interfere with other matches. Once the two trainers were ready to begin the referee stepped forward. "You will each be allowed to use one Pokemon. No substitutions are allowed during the course of this battle." Stepping back the referee flipped a coin to determine who chose their Pokemon first. Luckily it wasn't Katharina. "Good luck!" The trainer said before pulling a Pokeball from their pocket. After tossing the ball twice in their hand the trainer threw it into the court, near his corner's free-throw line. "Go Typhlosion!" Once Katharina fielded her Pokemon it was anybody's move. Aaron also waved as Crash left to finish registering and when he looked back, Vulpix looked fine and the helpful person was already walking away. Cooper began describing how he knew that person actually and apparently he was a jerk, "Oh yeah Hoenn, I remember that place being pretty cool. I caught Cassidy as a Nincada and I went up against Roxanne and Flannery while I was there," he said as he remembered the place. He looked back at Cooper then, "I wouldn't worry too much about people like Vance though, karma can be slow, but it hits like a freight train when it finally arrives," he says as he chuckles. "Plus, if he goes against me, he's screwed. Bug types get pushed around a lot but one thing they do well against is Dark types." Cooper then said that they should head to the camp so they could get their screening battles done, "Yeah man, that sounds great!" He turned around to get ready to go and Combee decided to take flight again after resting for a bit, "Alright, I'm ready to go whenever you are." Edited by Garm0099, May 17, 2013, 7:08 am.

Aaron "Yea. It's a nice place. Not as beautiful as Johto, though." Cooper said as the two made their way to the Trainer's Camp. "Vince...I doubt he'd let something like a type advantage push him around. Don't get cocky if you ever face him." It wasn't long after arriving that Aaron and Cooper were both called to battle. Aaron would be battling in court number seven, and Cooper would be in court number two. "Good luck in there." Cooper said as the two departed. "I expect to see you in the finals!" As Aaron made his way to his battleground he'd find his opponent already waiting for him in the green corner. The officials requested his trainer ID, and after he flashed it he was allowed to take his position in the red corner. Aaron's opponent glared at him with a big grin. He was young, probably eleven or twelve, and was wearing a snapback. Whenever they were ready to begin one of the officials step forward and explained the rules for the battle and flipped a coin to determine who would choose their Pokemon first. It was Aaron's move. |

Suddenly, Katharina heard her name being called to court thirteen. "Looks like we're up, Glaceon." She spoke to her partner after turning to her. "Let's see who our first opponent is." Katharina and Glaceon began to proceed to the courts. Each court was numbered in chronological order. It did not take long for her to find court number thirteen. Katharina and Glaceon entered the court, where right in front of them was the battlefield, as well as a referee and another official. Requesting for her ID, Katharina showed the man her trainer card. After the official had analyzed her card, the official allowed her to take her position in one of the two corners. Katharina took to the green corner and wanting to avoid any confusion, she took a Pokeball and returned Glaceon back into it. "I'll have you back inside the Pokeball for the time being." A few minutes later, another trainer had entered the court. He went through the same process as Katharina did before proceeding to the red corner. Katharina remembered hearing from another trainer a while back that one does not win simply by knocking out the opponent's Pokemon. Moves such as Earthquake would be undesirable since they would interfere with other matches. Any attacks that happen to hit the fence would have the user penalized. Long range attacks were probably not the most suitable choice. Luckily, Katharina had Pokemon with moves that would qualify. After the referee announced the rules and flipped a coin, the match would begin. Her opponent sent out a Typhlosion, which looked like it was ready to fight. Katharina had quickly decided which Pokemon she would send out to battle. "Go, Garchomp!" Katharina shouted as she threw a Pokeball. The Pokeball opened up and a blue light emerged, which took a form. The blue light would quickly fade away and a Garchomp made its appearance, unleashing a fierce roar, showing that it was determined to fight. Katharina could have her Garchomp make the first move, but that might just give an opening to the opponent. Instead, she was going to have the opponent make the first move. "Garchomp, get ready!" She ordered. Her Garchomp got into a ready stance, prepared for whatever the opponent's Typhlosion was going to do. |

"Oh you know me, I'm not in it to get cocky or win these things, I'm in it for the fun of competition. But ok, I'll be sure to keep my guard up if I happen to go against him." As both of their names were called, Cooper told him good luck, "Yeah, you too man. Lets show them what Azalea Town is made of!" he held his fist up in a pseudo victory pose as he began moving to his court. As he entered and saw his opponent, a wide grin appeared on his face. He wasn't happy because he thought he had an easy win, he just loved the sight of kids this age enjoying this hobby and progressing to this skill level. Before he moved to his corner, he jogged over to his opponent and extended his hand forward to shake, "Win or lose, lets have some fun today man! Good luck!" After shaking the kid's hand he would make his way to his corner after confirming his credentials. The rules were explained as he returned Ninjask to its pokeball, but kept the Combee out to observe, "Is he grinning because he thinks I'm like one of those trainers in the forest that use teams composed of Kakunas and Metapods? Hmm, maybe he's just as happy as I am to be here." He was told by the officials that he had first pick of the pokemon and he cracked his neck to the side as his wide grin was replaced with something more akin to a slight smirk, "Let's see if I can start a mono-type battle..." he mumbles as he grabs a pokeball, "Lets go Bruce!!" he called out as he threw the ball and out of it came a Pinsir which must have been an intimidating sight for the kid Aaron thought because it was 5 feet tall, and surely taller then the kid himself. Aaron lifted his hand and tilted his head in a slightly playful gesture as if to motion it was the kid's turn. |

Katharina's Battle After Katharina fielded her Pokemon the opposing trainer stepped back with a frightened look. Garchomp and its evolutionary chain weren't native to Johto, and it was rare to see such an exotic Pokemon. Of course, this was the Silver Conference, where trainers from all over the world would be competing, so it wouldn't be as rare to see exotic Pokemon. Quickly regaining his compsure the trainer called out to his Typhlosion. "Don't let em' scare you, bud! We'll send em' back wherever they came from! Use Rollout!" In the blink of an eye the enemy's Typhlosion curled into a ball, and took off straight for Garchomp. The flame's on Typhlosion's back dwindled as it progressed in the attack. Once its attack was complete it'd have reignite them if it planned on using any fire attacks, or risk using them in a weakened state. Aaron's Battle The boy smiled as Aaron chose his Pokemon. It wasn't what he had expected, but you could see the fire in his eyes. He loved to battle. After throwing a pokeball into the field his beloved Rhyhorn appeared. The rock Pokemon drug its foot in the dirt several times before his trainer gave the order. "Horn Attack! he yelled as Rhyhorn charged Aaron's Pinsir. Edited by oniskieth, May 18, 2013, 12:03 am.

Aaron grinned slightly as he realized that this was going to be a fun fight. The kid called out to the Rhyhorn to do a Horn Attack and shortly thereafter it charged, "Bruce, get Superpower ready but don't use it yet." The Pinsir then took a stance that made it look like a wrestler but its head was bent down slightly and its pincers soon began to glow. When the Rhyhorn got close Aaron then yelled out, "Alright, grapple him!!" Bruce took a step forward and grabbed the Rhyhorn's head with his pincers. He moved back a bit from the momentum of the attack but held his stance. Aaron smiled then, "You've lifted heavier things then that pokemon!! Slam him now!" With a sudden twist, the Pinsir jerked the Rhyhorn sideways and threw him. After this, the Pinsir looked slightly fatigued (Atk and Sp. Atk fell), but he was still ready to fight. Aaron watched as the Rhyhorn was moved away and he figured there would be enough time to maybe follow up, "Hey Bruce, use Sword Dance while he gets up! We need to get ready to move onto the offensive." The Pinsir nodded as it took a stance that looked like it was powering up. If he finished uninterrupted, the Pinsir would look like he is reinvigorated and ready to fight even more. |

Aaron's Battle As Pinsir took his stance the Rhyhon slammed forward. Remarkably the bug Pokemon managed to stop the attack by clamping on the opponent's head before landing a blow. "Impressive!" Aaron could here his challenger call out to him. Rhyhorn had landed on his side, and it quickly returned to its feet. As the opponent thought of his next move Pinsir was able to finish its Sword Dance. "Use Dig!" The trainer called out as his Pokemon leapt into the air. Landing head first it began tearing the ground apart with its mighty horn and mouth as it burrowed through the ground. Rhyhorn was able to feel the movement of the surface, and had a good idea of which direction Pinsir was facing. Quickly returning to the surface the spiked Pokemon swung a Horn at Pinsir's exposed backside. |

"There you go. You're now fully registered for the tournament. Head over to the trainer camp and wait for your name to be called, then your first match will begin." "Thanks, Nurse Joy!" Crash said enthusiastically, turning to leave. "Good luck, Crash!" The trainer simply raised a hand; a simple gesture bidding Nurse Joy farewell, and then he was off, heading straight for the trainer camp. --- It didn't take long to find the camp. It was a large area filled with small fields where many battles were taking place. Many trainers were gathered there, most with at least one Pokemon hanging around them. Crash grinned. It sure looked like there would be some good competition. The trainer walked around, watching various battles take place. A Nidoking fought an Electivire, a Typhlosion fought a Garchomp, a Pinsir fought a Rhyhorn- wait was that Aaron? Crash stopped to watch the fight closely. The Pinsir seemed to be Aaron's and the Rhyhorn belonged to the other trainer. So far it looked like they were evenly matched, but Crash hoped Aaron would win. "Yo! Aaron! Doing good! You can beat that Rhyhorn! YEAH!" He would watch the fight and cheer Aaron on until it was his time to shine. |

The Kitty Cat, Mew!~

Katharina notced that her opponent had expressed a temporary frightened look. She wondered if her Garchomp was a bit too intimidating, but at least he did not faint. Then her enemy decides to have his Typhlosion use Rollout. "Quick, to the air!" Her Garchomp quickly took to the air, evading the Rollout attack. "Now use Stone Edge!" She commanded. Suddenly, stones began to quickly surround Garchomp. Her Garchomp quickly thrusted her claws, commanding the stones to rain down on the foe's Typhlosion. |

Aaron heard cheering behind him from what sounded like a little kid, "Is that Crash? Eh, can't check right now." Aaron realized that his Pinsir wasn't exactly the quickest mover so dodging the attack was probably out of the question, "Keep your guard up Bruce, be ready to react and guard as best as you can." Both of them waited for the Rhyhorn to resurface and when it did, a Horn Attack was coming towards the Pinsir. In that time, all the Pinsir could do was turn around and ready itself to absorb the blow, which it did, "Quickly! Counter with X-Scissor!" After a quick recovery from the blow, while the Rhyhorn was still in range, the Pinsir attacked with its pincers at the Rhyhorn, "If I can get that Rhyhorn into a corner or into another headlock, I might be able to finish him off with a Guillotine..." |

Crash's Battle Over the loud speaker Crash was called to court number nine. After going through the same routine as Katharina and Aaron Crash would find himself in the green (hehe) corner. His opponent won the coin toss, and fielded a Cubone. Katharina's Battle Acting quickly the opponent gave the order for Rock Smash. As the stones were shot forward Typhlosion began shattering them one after the other. Fatigue soon set in on Typhlosion, however, and the final two stones made direct hits, sending the weasel Pokemon onto it's back. "Get up!" Its trainer called out to him. Wiping the dirt off its face the Typhlosion jumped to it's feet before letting out a battle cry, flames erupted from its back in the process. This sparked an idea in the trainer's mind. "Typhlosion, get underneath it and use Eruption!" Running forward the Typhlosion positioned itself underneath Garchomp before letting out a geyser of fire and smoke. Aaron's Battle Still half-way in the hole Rhyhorn was unable to dodge. Directly taking the hit the rock Pokemon sunk back into its hole. The trainer doubted Pinsir would fall for the same trick twice, and ordered for Rhyhorn to resurface. With a safe distance between the two Pokemon the trainer had time to think of a plan. In the distance a trainer ordered their Pokemon to use Stone Edge. Aaron's opponent gave the same order. With Rhyhorn's body Glowing white, six rocks levitated off the ground before launching at Pinsir. Look Here ((Once your first battle is complete do you all want to do the other two, or do you want to skip past the screening process? If you'd like to continue the screening process I'd appreciate it if some of you would control the npc for someone's battle (not yours).)) Edited by oniskieth, May 19, 2013, 12:01 am.
