Lord of the Octoroks, all hail!

![]() In the aftermath of the conflicts that devastated civilization during the 20th Century, the peoples of the world were able to overcome their differences and come together, all in an effort to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past. The United Nations Federation was born as a result. The governments that formed such organization soon realized that mankind needed to focus their attention on a specific objective, and began to promote new technologies for the purpose of space exploration and colonization. One of the products of this research and development became the Frontier Frame. Although they were originally intended as nothing more than tools as construction in space environments, they were eventually outfitted with offensive and defensive capabilities which gained them widespread use in organizations dedicated to law-enforcement and security. And while currently existing Frontier Frame are still considered useless in the battlefield, the military has taken an interest in funding its own specialized research and development program - thus a competition has been organized in the eastern island nation known as Japan, a tournament in which those with the piloting skill necessary are expected to participate in exchange for fame and fortune. But nothing is what it seems. Because time is running out, and mankind cannot afford to wait those with the power to protect. Edited by Arcvalons, December 27, 2012, 6:35 pm.

It usually confers some protection of the individual by the state, and some obligations on the individual towards the state. Actually, at first everyone will be fighting the prologue tournament with primitive prototypes, then there will be a timeskip (5-10 years). Then after the timeskip people would be able to have more advanced units with specific roles (such as a sniper). Also you can be an alien after the timeskip which is when the aliens reveal themselves, but they are mostly AIs with different machines. |
