Centuries ago, during the 16th Century, a inventor named Feliciano Vargas, who lived outside the city of Venice, was out for a stroll one night. That night, he saw something in the sky. He saw flashes of light in the sky. The flashes, they looked like explosions. He was fascinated by the lights and he wondered what it was. Then... he saw something enter the atmosphere. It was blue in color, and it looked a bit round. The object crash landed at least a forty meters. Debris and dust blew past him before he went to check out the site. Upon arrival, he found a crater. At the bottom was a rock that was apparently still intact. The rock was pretty big, but its features were definitely not of this planet. The rock was less than a story high, it was more or less... the size of a medium sized boulder. It was black in color and its texture was... smooth. There was no way that he could carry this all the way back to his house, at least not alone. The next morning, he returned to the crash site, this time with his son. Feliciano decided that if he could not carry this, then he'll have to take a sample. The two began to use hammers to try to take a sample. The rock was harder than they expected. The two told no one about this, no one at all, especially government officials or the police. Eventually, they made a dent on the rock. To a surprise, when the rock was dented, cracks began to form on the rock. Cracks continued to form until the rock shattered into pieces. However, Feliciano got something worthwhile. He found stones. These stones were all perfectly identically shaped, gray in color, smooth as well, but each one had a unique weird symbol. They were smaller than a computer mouse, that's for sure. Maybe the size of a modern cellphone. Feliciano and his son stored the stones in bags and took them back to their house. Feliciano took the time to examine just one of the rocks. The symbol... suddenly began to glow brown. The next minute, he heard a distorted voice. His son asked Feliciano what was wrong, but Feliciano, he was busy hearing the voice... coming from the rock. It seems only Feliciano could hear it. The voice asked "What is it that you seek?" Feliciano was startled. An inanimate object was speaking to him? Feliciano answered back: "I want to protect my family... from those thieves..." Feliciano's family had some trouble with a group of thieves. They robbed Feliciano's family of their earnings and threatened to bring harm to their family. Feliciano's family was... not of the upper class. The thieves basically made them pay every month if they don't want any trouble from them. The thieves threatened to kill his family if he tried to rat them out. His son, confused about why his dad is talking to a rock, brought over his sister and his mom. They too were confused. The rock understood what Feliciano deeply desired. The rock told him this: "Then I shall rid of your troubles. Let me provide you service." After Feliciano waited for a few minutes for something to happen... nothing did happen, except the glow on the symbol vanished. Feliciano's family were a bit afraid of what just happened. Feliciano too was confused. A week later, it was the day that Feliciano had to pay money to the thieves. The thieves returned on a sunny evening. They demanded Feliciano to immediately hand over the cash. However this time... Feliciano did not have enough money to pay the thieves. He told this to the thieves and he asked them to show mercy. The thieves didn't want to show mercy. Instead, they decided that they'll have Feliciano's daughter as a substitute for the money. A thief grabbed Feliciano's daughter as Feliciano and his wife begged the thieves for mercy. Suddenly, the rock that Feliciano interacted with a week ago began to glow. The symbol began to glow brown again and levitated from Feliciano's work table. The rock quickly levitated to Feliciano and slowly floated down onto the palm of his hand. The thieves were very startled by this and demanded an explanation for what was happening. The rock spoke again: "Let us fight together and oust the intruders." The rock then began to take the form of a sword. It had a green hilt that looked like a bunch of vines tied together. The blade of the sword was shaped like the sword used by Roman Gladiators, but the color of the blade was brown. "Swing and I shall follow" The rock spoke to him. Feliciano swung the blade at a charging thief on chest. The it seems that the blade not only left a cut on the thief's chest, but it broke the ribs of the thief too, knocking the thief against the wall. The other thieves awed at what just happened. It was as if a boulder was hurled at the thief. The other thieves tried to kill Feliciano, but they ended up getting bruised badly by Feliciano, to the point that some had broken bones. The thieves, realizing that Feliciano is too powerful, fled the house in fear as fast as they could. Feliciano told no one else about the rocks he had discovered that night. His family kept quiet as well and the rocks were passed down, from generation to generation. Centuries later, during the middle of the Second World War, Benito Mussolini had discovered that a family possessed some sort of special stones. One of his generals reported of seeing a girl wielding an odd looking sword that took out a small unit of Italian soldiers who tried to arrest her for being the daughter of a Mafia crime boss. Mussolini, who thought that maybe these stones could help his army combat the Allies, ordered for a large unit to infiltrate the home of the Vargas family. Italian soldiers broke into the home and killed the bodyguards of the family. The girl's father told her to leave the house while he would distract the soldiers. The girl's family was arrested and the stones were soon found and confiscated, but she managed to escape with one. Less than a couple of weeks later, Rome was captured by the Allied forces and eventually, Italy was liberated from Mussolini. After the war, the girl was adopted by an Italian-American soldier, who decided to settle in Rome. The girl still had the stone in her possession while the rest of the stones, which were confiscated by Mussolini, were now lost. Nowhere to be heard, nowhere to be found. However, years later, two men had rediscovered these stones hidden inside a bunker. They were a part of the unit that confiscated the stones, returning to claim these powerful relics. But then... an argument broke out and the two began to fight over the stones. Through the overwhelming fighting, the two triggered an explosion that not only killed themselves, but caused the stones to scatter across the planet. In the year 2000, a man formed a secret organization after he discovered one of the stones in the middle of the United States. The man had done extensive research and discovered that there is not one, but many of these stones. His organization eventually found more throughout the world. Now... he wants to realize his dream. He wants to rule the world with the power of these stones at his disposal. The group splitted in two however, when members of the organization disagreed with his ambitions. And so... a war is now fought between these two secret organizations. One, that seeked to conquer the Earth and rule with an iron fist, and the other, seeked to protect liberty. |

There are two secret factions, which opposes one another. One wants to conquer the world and one wants to protect the freedom of mankind throughout the world. Now I think I should explain a bit of both, shall I?  The two founders of the original organization was by a couple. They weren't married, but they were engaged. The two of them were ordinary people, really. The two of them had been really close and they loved each other. Their lives turned upside down one day, when the male picked up his lover from her house. Martin Kirkby was taking his fiancee, Samantha Grant, to a French restaurant in New York City. The car was parked in an underground parking lot. The two of them had dinner, which lasted till late at night before midnight. Before they decided to head back home, they decided to have a walk first. The city life was beautiful at night of course. The two of them ended up in a park, where perhaps they could have a bit of peace and quiet from the pollution in the streets. As the two snuggled while sitting on a bench, something caught Samantha's eye. She saw two weird glows, coming from behind a bush. The two of them went to check the lights out. What they found was two perfectly identical rocks, each possessing a different symbol. One emitted a white color, while one emitted a black color. Sam took the white rock and Martin too the black rock. Why? Because they looked pretty cool. Martin walked back to the bench while Sam continued to search the ground, hoping to find anymore of those pretty rocks. Suddenly, their respective rocks began to speak to them, asking what they desired. Martin told the rock that he wanted something ambitious. He wanted to change the world and turn in into a place that he sees fit. He was sick of whole society worked, where there were poor people and there were rich people. The best were considered the rich business owners. The worse were those that lived on the streets. He wanted to change it. Change it for the better of mankind. Sam on the other hand? She wanted to live a happy life with those around her. A happy and healthy life where she can be around those that she cared about till old age. Both of these rocks accepted their new owners. Martin had received the Stone of the Void while Sam received the Stone of Anima. As the two awed at these two mysterious rocks, members of a street gang had spotted the couple. Hoping to mug them and plunder some cash from them, the gangsters approached the couple. Sam hid behind her fiance as the gangsters quickly surrounded them. This was until the stones began to glow again. The stones told their owners individually: "I shall grant you power to protect yourself. Do not fear the enemy and strike them down. Channel your strength into me." The two were unsure of what they meant, but they probably meant that they wanted the couple to focus on the stones. Both of them gripped their respective stones tightly as their stones glew even brighter, startling the gangsters. Martin received a black blade, with weird etchings on the blade. Sam received a spear with a nice looking shaft. The fighting began. Although they were new to this power, they were victorious with the guidance of their stones. Martin theorized that there may be more of these stones out there, and perhaps these stones can help him achieve his dream. Martin told his fiancee how he wanted to change the world for the better and how these stones might be able to help them on his mission. While they studied about the origin of these rocks, they also met other people who also happened to possess stones similar to the ones that they possessed. Struggle after struggle, Martin formed a secret organization, whose goal is to change the world under his ideals. Many joined. Some were good people. Others weren't so great. This organization was doing well, collecting stones around the world. Martin and Sam grew to become stronger, unlocking new powers. But one day, Martin changed. He hungered for so much power to the point that he wanted to rule with an iron fist. His dreams of making the world a better place slowly faded away. Sam found out about this, so she tried to reason with Martin. It didn't work. There was no way of convincing him to stop going down a dark path. Martin had convinced her however, the very man she loved... was gone. Sam broke off the engagement and left with numerous members of the organization while the rest stayed with Martin. Sam decided that she will stop her former lover and protect liberty. While their original HQ was located in New York, the two moved their HQ to alternate locations. While the name of Martin's organization was Imperium, Sam's organization was called Libertas. Both sides recruited people in this new war. One wished to conquer the world under an iron fist, the other wanted to protect mankind's liberty. Destroy versus Protect. Martin himself changed his name, now calling himself Draco Dominus.

Now you must be wondering about the stones, yes? Well... since the stones have always been kept in secret, not a lot of people in the world know of its existence. To make things worse, the people who know about the stones in the present have no idea how many stones are there in the world. As said before, the stones grant a person powers. However... there is more than one stage to the said powers. Everyone will always start on the first level, where the user's stone will transform into a weapon, based on the person's characteristics and personality. It's up to the roleplayer what the weapon looks like however. There are higher stages, which grant new powers, but those will be unlocked later on. And I can say... a character can only equip one stone... for the time being. Only one stone can be chosen to become a character's... guardian, something like that. Or can it only be one? Now some more info on the organizations! The original name organization was called Olympus. The organization was not called Olympus and remained nameless until there were twelve members. Of course, these twelve members became the leaders of the organization. Why were they called Olympus? It was a reference to the twelve Olympians in Greek mythology. Their original base of operations was located in the state of Washington in the United States. However, when the split occurred, the original base was abandoned and the two new organizations moved their base of operations elsewhere. While Libertas moved their base of operations to Switzerland, Imperium moved their base of operations to China. More over, the two sides made boundaries for each other. While Libertas was mostly operating in Europe, Imperium operated in most of Asia, including Russia. North America was more of less... neutral ground. But whoever said that both sides did nothing? Both sides fought each other across the planet. However, the fighting has yet to come to an end. The split had also affected the twelve founding members of Olympus. While some joined Libertas, others stayed in Imperium. Former allies and former friends were forced to fight one another. The bases of both organizations were unknown to the public. Otherwise, there would be trouble. Organizations such as the CIA and the SVR have little knowledge of these two groups and their conflict. ((More to be added)) |
