Okay so here goes, I haven't really read Twilight or seen the movies, but when I do, I'll be able to comment on it. So in the meantime.....

Neither have I, but it got so much hype that I read the sporks and now I don't want to. Well, that was a little lie. I've read the first book. All I can say it's really not worth all the attention it's getting. Emerilla pretty much got most of the flaws down. I'm just praying that people will get over the idea of the 'perfect' romance and see the book for what it really is... =]xxx |

I'm just a bit lost about why she made the Vampires sparkle. I hear that she had a dream about it, but I've had dreams I'm incorperating into my work, and if it seems ... wierd, I alter it slightly so that it make more sence. So ... why take away the dark and mysterious aspect of being a vampire and replace it with light? |

Probably to try make it seem original and seperate it from other vampire based books =/ I'm not sure though, just pulled that off the top of my head... =]xxxx |

I see what you did there...

I think Meyer specifically tried to destroy practically ALL of the myths surrounding vampire-dom. Not allergic to sunlight or religion, a stake to the chest won't work (tear 'em apart and BURN 'EM**), they DO appear in mirrors ( I think...)... Are they immune to garlic as well? **Every vampire says the exact same phrase when referring to the method of vampire killing. No one describes it differently, always "Rip them apart and burn the pieces." >.< Or maybe "Tear them apart..." I can't remember. |

Oh good, maybe you can tell me how books 2,3, & 4 play out so I can argue with me mum about how much more she loves the books than I hate them. |

Well one problem I know for sure is that Edward Cullen (as well as most of the other characters...) have absolutely NO personality. In fact, the only personality Edward has is that he's hot, but that's hardly a personality trait, now is it? Oh and last I checked... Vampires do not sparkle..... |

In fact, last I checked, they undergo excruciating pain in the sunlight. |
