Those were pretty good too. Except for Legolas and Frodo. I really did not like those two. |

Really? I thought Frodo was great, especially at being possessed and creepy. Legolas just kind of stands there and looks pretty. He does it very well, of course...as evidenced by his extensive fangirl mob. |

I only really liked the parts - both in the book and one the screen - that had Gandalf, Gimmly, Legolas and Aregorn. The only parts with Hobbits I enjoyed was when "No man of woman born" put the smackdown to Macbeth/Witch King. That was awesome. ... Oh, and favourit part in the books: "Sauruman! Your staff is broken!" |

Hahaha, never read the books, but I might eventually. Oh dang. That really could have been a Macbeth reference couldn't it? Edited by Beege, Feb 6 2009, 04:33 PM.

Not only that, but the Ents were also a reference to Birnam Wood and Isengard was Dunsinane Hill. He did it because he thought that Shakespeare cheated in Macbeth. |

Wow. I never really thought of all that. Shakespeare cheated? |

Yup. Led that poor Macbeth (and the audience) on with "No man of woman born shall kick your ass" and "trees will walk before you get deposed". |

Well I personally loved the parts with Aragorn on it. Okay, I'll admit that I MIGHT be one of the Aragorn fangirls, but nothing with that. Right?
