No reference point is needed. Anyone who knows anything about time, especially military time, knows that midnight is also written as 0000. Yes. Zero. Midnight is also the technical and legal starting point for each day. Therefore, if one is counting any kind of time without a specified starting point, the starting point is midnight. Case in point, I explcitly said that 9000 was 2:30 in the AM, which is quite distinct from 2:30pm. Seconds did not need to be stated - they were the only whole unit of time where 9000would not exceed one day. As 9000 was referring to a time, and not a date, it could not refer to anything outside of a single 24 hour cycle. You should know better than to try and refute me. |
