Storyline: As one of three mercenaries, the game follows your absurd quest for vengeance on a man who hired you to do a job and didn't pay. The first few missions are designed to get you accustomed to the game's third-person-shooting action. In the span of 30 minutes you'll shoot several different weapons, use grenades and C4, and drive cars, boats, and jeeps as you secure what will eventually become your home base. After that, the first few contracts you take on are fun, but that's mostly because the gameplay mechanics are new and the thrill of destruction is still fresh. The game truly reveals itself after the first couple hours. Really, the only fun to be had with Mercenaries 2 is in playing cooperatively with a friend online.

Length: I actually ran through the missions with a friend in about a week, otherwise completing them by yourself becomes to tedious.

Pros: Just about anything in the game is destructable. Countless Vehicles, Sweet Weapons, and Co-op Play.

Cons: So many glitches, I swear even the glitches had glitches. The AI was definately "artificial," but in no way shape or form was it "intlligent."

Graphics: The graphics were crisper on the 360 than the ps3, but the frame rate was pretty even amongst the two platforms.

Personal Opinion: With a game based on an open-ended map of Venezuela and countless weapons and vehicles, I was expecting a sugar sweet game, instead, I got a game trying to blend itself with "Just Cause" & "GTA" it just didn't work the way I expected it too. A game filled to the top with glitches and an unsatisfying storyline leaves me wishing Pandemic Studios should of taken a couple more months to polish this game to what it should have been.
