"No wimping out, hmm? Well... I suppose I could put away my teddy bear and sleep without it tonight," Casimir offered as he nodded. "Sure, count me in." Looking over to Sin, he did a quick eyebrow lift at her nickname. That was a new one. Pushing some of said hair out of his eyes, he shrugged. "More than happy to buy the next round, but like the nice lady said, dealer's choice. If you're willing to take a chance on that, I'm always game." -- The voice on the other end of the phone was one he truly would rather never hear from. Aptly called the 'wicked princess' by the more daring newspapers, Princess Ianthine Belmont's calls were never anything light. "I've received a message that my darling brother is rooting around in the sewers again, Mr. Graves, and wouldn't you know it, it's not far from your charming abode. I expect you're within range? I need for you to find your way down there and diffuse the situation. I'd do it myself, but I don't have the time to take as many showers as is needed to remove the stench of that part of town." There was a pause and the receiver was muffled - in the background, Ennis could hear music playing... it was clear the princess was still at the Gala. "I'll need a confirmation message that everything has been taken care of, Mr. Graves. I'm growing rather weary of my brother's little obsession - if you could make a point, I would be happy to compensate you for your time." And with that, the line cut off. Leila grinned as everyone hopped on board, chuckling as she poured Sin's Guiness. "Boyo when have I ever steered you wrong?" She teased Remy, sliding the beer down the bar before focusing on whipping up the shots. Because of her flare for the dramatic, flipping the bottles and such, it was hard to read what exactly she was throwing in. She smiled happily as she set the finished finished product down on the counter. "Bottoms up, capos ((wimps))...." she grinned, shooting hers back with a happy sigh. It was definitly NOT a weak man's drink, yet she swallowed it like it was water. "Mm...you never did answer my earlier question..." she pointed out to Casimir as she rinsed out her shaker, though she was watching their reactions with amusement. |

As Leila passed out the shots, Remy and Sin picked theirs up at the same time as they looked to the woman with identical smirks. "Bottoms up, bitches." Sin repeated as she slammed back the shot with ease although she winced a little at the end as she shuddered. "Damn, Leigh. You trying to kill us?" She demanded before washing the shot down with a sip from her Guinness. She was only joking, but maybe a little bit serious. She wasn't like Remy who drank every single day from open to close. Alcohol still managed to get her every now and then. As Remy threw back his shot, he laughed as he placed the glass back down on the bar. "Cho! Co! ((Wow to translate lamely xD)) Dat is how you do it, cher!" He declared, a smirk on his face as he watched Sin shudder. "What a matter, cher. Dat be a bit too much for you now, yea?" He taunted her as she snorted. "Unlike you, Rem, I don't sit around on my lazy ass and drink all day. Got a life outside of here." She declared as he laughed in response. "Bet you woan do another now." He dared her as she snorted. "You're on Cajun." |

Ennis held in the sigh as he listened to the queen of bitches herself began speaking. There was a reason he’d refused to live in the main house. He liked his distance, plus it gave him ample opportunity to make connections that didn’t eat off of gold plates. In a way, he was happy he had gotten out of the Gala. This…this just wouldn’t have been his first choice. He grumbled a few choice words after the line went dead. He knew he couldn’t “make a point” of Leila. Her absence would go noticed by far more people than the pompous princess realized. That aside, the woman was the human equivalent of a ticking time-bomb with an arsenal of secrets that might even outmatch his own. Why the prince was so obsessed he had no idea. At first they thought she’d placed a hex on him…but there was nothing to be found. Kaleb just wanted what he couldn’t have. Something he wasn’t used to. Unfortunately he couldn’t restrict the prince to the Highcity...okay, he could, but the queen had yet to agree to the measures he had suggested. Kaleb was…an ass of a lovesick puppy. Well, if you could call basically stalking some witch wench if only because she’d refused him after learning who he was lovesick. With a few swipes of his screen, he pulled up the tracker he’d planted on the prince’s phone. Taking another deep breath, lest from kicking the kid’s ass himself, he headed back out into the rain. Oh, this was going to be a long night… ------------------------------------------------ Leila smirked with a wink at Remy’s praise, unable to keep the laughter out of her voice at Sin’s reaction. “Aye, remember the apartment is a tight squeeze for both of your drunk asses…” She teased, holding her liquor surprisingly well for someone her size. Okay, that was kind of a lie. She had claim to the three bedroom apartment upstairs...okay and one of those rooms was a no go zone, but still. It wasn't exactly the hovel she made it sound like. Leila looked over to blondie with a tilt of her head, “You up for another, ye who has no name?” She mused as she turned her attention to making a round of blow job shots for a table of girls in the back corner. By the looks of the blonde in the white dress, some poor shmuck just got left at the alter. Smart girl. Leila also never understood the whole “wearing white to a wedding” thing. Who wanted to be seen as some virginal piece of property anyway? Well, she also didn’t understand the whole “saving yourself for marriage thing either. What if the guy sucked ass in bed?! Heh...oops, well yeah that too. What if he was just into weird things? Is that really how someone would want to spend their honeymoon?! She almost physically shuddered at the thought, but did shake her head to bring herself back to the conversation at hand as she handed the girl the tray as well as a slip for some food for the newly formed trio. Couldn’t have them getting sick on her now...or too drunk too fast. |

Casimir threw back the shot with the other two, though unlike Sin, there was no aversion to the concoction. It went down smooth - after all, he was quite used to the familiar stinging/warming combination that left it's trail down his throat. Chuckling at the friendly rivalry between the Southman and the newly arrived girl, he turned his warm brown eyes over to Leila with a smile. "Sure - it's my round after all, isn't it?" His smile turned into a smirk as he measured up the two beside him - the Southman could drink, there was no doubt about it. The fact that there was no reaction to the shot, nor the bourbon in front of him gave that away... but the girl... she may not be so gifted. She was still nursing the Guinness. "But....how about we have a little fun? I could tell you my name, but how about we drink for names? It's clear I'm the outsider here.... so really, what do you three have to lose?" He glanced between each of them, thinking it might be worth it to have a blackout night. It had been a while. |

Leila smirked at the sound of a game, especially one that involved alcohol. Before she could ask what he meant however, a hush fell over the crowd. She blinked, looking around as she realized someone had frozen the patrons of her bar where they stood. Mid slap, mid pour, mid laugh, mid bite…ah spirits be damned. Royal pricks worked much too fast for her liking. “Why does it not surprise me you’re hyperactive ass is still moving…” Leila smirked as she heard Grave’s annoyed tone from the doorway. He’d obviously been called away from the Gala to deal with Kaleb’s mess. Mmmm….Why did he have to be such a stingy ass and look that damn sexy?! It wasn’t fair… His lips twitched into a light scowl a she laughed, “Oh hun, I designed that little hex. You don’t think I would make myself a loophole? And people say you’re smart…” She teased, watching as he systematically wiped any and all information from the patrons’ phones and minds. “Ah, make sure pixie cut over there didn’t send anything out.” “You’re place is nearly a deadzone, only good thing about this rat’s nest.” He told her bluntly as he finished up with the tables. It also helped that she was one hell of a view, and one hell of an informant. Not that he'd ever tell her either. She was a sickeningly sweet candy with a triple psycho filling. You wanted her on your side, not against you. He'd found that out very quickly. “Has anyone left since he arrived here?” Leila made a face as he didn’t even bother looking at her. Ass. “No, royal guard dog. Everyone has stayed planted.” She mused with a roll of her eyes as he went into the back to deal with the kitchen staff. As he emerged he headed towards Remy and Sin, only to be frozen in his tracks. “Nuh uh….You know they’re off limits to your glitchy memory charms.” It took a little bit of concentration before he broke free, leaning forwards on the bar. “You know the rules. You want the princess-“ “That pompous, Botox laced piece of dog shit can come get me herself if she fucking had any balls but we all know that’s not the case.” She nearly growled, obviously holding a strong hatred for the “wicked princess”. Pshh, hardly. Whiney, bigoted, and compulsively controlling was more like it. “Go take care of Richey rich over there. They know better than to blab. Besides, he doesn’t look like he has many brain cells to begin with. Ye can’t screw him up any worse.” After a few moments, and a lot of staring, Ennis sighed and moved on to Casi, “You have no idea how right you are, witch.” He said simply, taking some joy in messing with the twit’s mind a bit. While he was distracted, however, Leila used her nail to leave an ‘x’ indent in the back of Remy’s and Sin’s hand. It was her sign that Graves had been there. She’d used it plenty with Remy, but only once before with Sin. She only hoped Sin remembered. “You know, the princess wants to make a statement with you…” He added, texting HRH the simple word “Done.” and looked to Leila then with a smirk that, if Leigh was to be honest, even rocked her nerves a little. “And you know that you will piss off a lot more people if you harm me, people more influential than queen melodrama.” She shrugged, looking over then with a small smirk of her own. “So the usual then?” “You know the drill…” “You owe me like five dead man’s toes and three elixirs of death. You know this, right?” “Just get on with it, I do have an event to show my mug at after all, and this hex won’t last much longer.” Leila sighed and, with a roll of her eyes and a few enchantments, her body was suddenly covered in bruises, cuts, her lip swollen and her dress partially ripped. She looked like she’d had one hell of a night. She crouched down behind the bar, holding her hands up in defense. If there was one thing she was eerily good at, it was playing the vulnerable victim. A few pictures later, Leila was back to normal and Ennis had the ‘evidence’ he needed to appease the princess when he arrived at the Gala. He would have to try and get it through her head, however, that Leila wasn’t the one chasing. Kaleb needed a reality check. “So, we all set?” She asked, brushing off her skirt, “I’ll have your order ready tomorrow night, as long as you have payment.” She said simply enough, going back to her position by Casimir. “See you then.” And with that, everything slowly came back to life. Everyone started talking again, music began playing, and drinks were being poured. Only thing was? No one would have any recollection of Ennis or the Prince. Okay, no one except Sin, Remy and Leila. If one looked quick enough, however, to the door way, they would see Graves headed back out into the rain and into his car. He’d stopped in for….something. “So, how exactly does this game work love? After all, not quite fair since you already know my name I reckon.” She teased Casimir with smirk and a wink as she mixed up the next round of shots. The night had just begun, and all Leila wanted to do was close up for the night and relax. |

"Well now podna, dat is something I can do. Always down for a good drinking game, yea?" Remy raised his glass of bourbon before taking a drink from it. As he was bringing his glass down, there was something new on his hand that hadn't been there before. An X. And he knew exactly what that X meant. So Graves had just been in here huh? He looked over to catch the same mark hidden on Sin's hand and he wondered if she even remember what it meant. He almost laughed as he thought about what Sin might think once she figured it all out. Speaking of, he looked over at Leila to make sure she was doing alright. For some reason, he seemed to hang out with females who were just the slightest bit mentally unstable when they became upset. You upset one and she'll punch your face in until you have nothing left and you upset the other and she'd cunja (put a spell on your) you until you regretted life. He sure knew how to pick them, didn't he? Sin rolled her eyes as she drank a fair bit of her Guinness. Looking down at her hand because she felt like somebody had pressed something hot against it, she noticed the X. Why did it feel like she should know what this meant? And where did it come from? It took her wracking her brain a little before she finally remembered exactly what it meant. All it took was a confirmation look towards Remy as he gave her a barely perceptible nod before she finally got it all straightened out. Graves had been here? It was enough to make her scowl. Useless, no good waste of space. Honestly, she was glad that she didn't see him. She honestly didn't think that she would have been able to keep her mouth shut with him around. There was no respect for him in her eyes. "Whatever game that goes along with it, I don't care. Let's just get our drink on, I wanna drink you and Cajun under the table." She declared as she decided then to finish up her Guinness, leaving the once almost full bottle now completely empty. |

Leila gave Remy a knowing smirk, spinning one of her rings around on her hand. It meant they'd talk later. Much later. Or maybe even in the morning depending on how the night went. There was a lot to go over when man-bun wasn't around. She glanced up to see the recognition flash through Sin's eyes. Thank the godesses.... She set the shots down on the bar as she took the food from Kayla, one of her waitresses. "Thank you love!" Leila popped a fry into her mouth as she set the baskets down as well. "Well then, cher...your move." She smirked at Casimir as she munchedthoughtfully on another fry. |

As the world around him came back to normal, Casimir felt a familiar pulling feeling in the back of his mind. He reached up to scratch at it, trying to remember why he knew that feeling.... it took him a bit, but he remembered Fina's wards. After..... well, a while ago, Fina, who was the natural mage of the family, had learned to put up wards around those she cared about. When they were tampered with or changed, they were set to alert the wearer in a subtle way. In this instance, it was an obnoxious itch. Making a mental note to stop by Fina's house on the way home (or tomorrow if the night went as planned), Casimir brought himself back to the world of the living. Spinning in his seat to face Remy and Sin, he smiled. "It's simple..." He started laying out the rules, and after a brief info session, had everyone on board. Despite the simplicity, the promise of being completely wasted was very much the goal.... and it seemed like by the end of the game, no one would remember anyone's name that you had just drank so much for. ((I hope no one minds that I'm going to do us a little time skip!!! Otherwise, we could theoretically be here for many much time! XD)) After a few intense hours of shots and subsequent chasers, Casimir could barely remember his OWN name, much less the ones of the three people around him. The game had gone exactly as planned, but eventually it had just turned into a contest of 'who can drink the most', which ended up being more fun than the game itself. Casimir hadn't felt this good in years... and for the briefest of moments, he wondered why he ever bothered giving up the bottle. "Alright good people, I think it's time to call it night," He insisted, grinning at everyone. "I... have to figure out how to get home from here. Long drive." He slid off his barstool, catching himself on the back of Sin's chair. "Sorry," He said with a chuckle as he got his bearings. |

Leila was by far the most sober of the little quartet since she'd missed one or two rounds because she was busy tending to other matters around the bar. She was currently cleaning up for the night, helping the waitstaff clear up tabs and pour patrons into cabs. She was walking back to the bar as she saw Casimir stumble with a smirk. She snapped her fingers, relieving him of his car keys. "You ain't driving anywhere, Boyo...." she teased him, flipping his keys around her finger before tucking them in her apron as she wiped up for the night. She knew Remy would probably crash with her, Sin probably the same in her spare room or on the couch. "So...we can play this game two ways. Either you call someone from your inner circle to come get ya or I'm callin' a cabbie to drive ya home. Which way, lad?" She chuckled, looking up through her lashes with her usual offsettingly pretty grin. ---------- Ennis glanced at his watch for the umpteenth time. He had about half an hour before he could leave the gala without being considered rude. Kaleb had taken to the bottle about two seconds after arrival, so he didn't overly concern him. The youngest seemed to have pulled herself together from the events of the night prior which he had predicted. She looked purely bright eyed and bushey tailed, just as the king had demanded. He had managed to avoid HRH most of the night and their encounters had been brief to say the least. His presence was noticed but avoided, something he was grateful for. |
