Tripp paused as Leila called out to her again. She looked hesitant as her dark eyes passed over the trio of royals. To be quite honest, there really should not BE any royals down here... it was part of the reason she liked the side of the city so much - it was tucked away from all the hubbub of daily privileged life. It was a little more like home... and it assuaged the feelings of homesickness, if only for a few brief seconds.

She accepted the umbrella, but didn't mention the card. After all, she didn't have a mobile phone... and her dorm phone only allowed local emergency calls and intra-campus calls. Anything outside the university grounds was chargeable. "Thank you, Leila, for your help. I just... I mean, you're getting busy and I don't want to take up space," she insisted, picking at the strap of her bag. "Um, I didn't get a chance to drink the drink you gave me... here, I have some money," she said, opening the flap on her bag to dig around for her partial bus fare. It was a long walk, but she could make it.

Pulling it out, she set the coins on the bar counter and pushed them toward the pretty redhead. "Please take them?"

Casimir offered a nod to Leila in response to her question, lifting his drink toward her lightly. He hadn't missed the scuffle - no one had. Now... what was a bartendress in Lowcity doing on a first name basis with one of the princes of the royal family? That was interesting... and juicy. Everyone knew the royal family had dalliances, but... it was not particularly smiled upon for those dalliances to continue.

Leila didnt even look up at first, flicking her hand and suddenly all the money, plus some, was back in Tripp's bag. It was more than enough to get her all the way back to campus. "Don't you argue, love..." She winked as she looked up. She knew two things; the umbrella would keep her warm and dry no matter what and the card didn't exactly have just a number on it. If she looked it also had a simple incantation with "In case of emergency..." written above it.

"And no bullshit about taking up space love. You're welcomed to stay long as you need." She added with a smile, knowing it wouldn't get much worse than this. Plus she was hoping to get rid of Kaleb soon.

Tripp frowned and she dug around in her bag until she found the extra money. Smiling a bit, she left it on the counter. "It's okay, really. Thanks again and um,... good luck," she offered, glancing over at the royals. She offered that same smile to Remy, then looked over her shoulder at the man in the suit before zipping her parka up over her bag, to hide it, and exiting the bar into the pouring rain.

Leila shook her head in amusement and, as soon as Tripp had turned her back, flicked her wrist once more. She'd be in for a surprise when she got back to her dorm. She looked to Remy then, "I really don't want to deal with his royal ass..." She mumbled, noting that Kaleb had yet to budge. In fact, he was now waving her over. She also knew to keep her head about her as she could very easily end up on Grave's radar if she pissed him off too much or made too much of a scene. That asshat was the last thing she needed. While he was lovely to look at, he wasn't worth the strings.

Pushing off the bar she walked back over to Casimir with an amused smile, "Enjoying the show then?" She asked simply, not caring if Kaleb was getting impatient. She'd get to his order eventually. Hell, she knew what he wanted...she just wasn't inclined to give it to him.

"Very much so," Casimir agreed with a smile as he looked over their way again. The annoyance on the prince's face, coupled with the intensifying frustration at being ignored, was clear enough for anyone to see. He wasn't acting very royal right now at all. Showing up unannounced without a proper guard in the middle of a storm in Lowtown during a very important Gala?

"By the way," he continued with a friendly smile. "Cute little pixie cut behind me recorded that whole thing. You may want to have a chat before she leaves about not leaking that to the press." He tipped his glass toward her in a salute. "So how does one get on such a friendly basis with one of the more notorious princes?"

Remy tipped his drink in Leigh's direction after she refilled it before resuming his position as lookout and pseudo bodyguard as he kept his eye on the scene and those likely to cause a scene. When Leila made her way towards him again, he chuckled deeply as he heard her words. "Now you goan and scoot and be good girl, yea? Showing off gets you nowhere but trouble it won't." He replied back to her quietly as he took a sip of his bourbon happily, still keeping an eye out on the prince. Wasn't nothing but a possede ((spoiled brat)) who believed he was owned the world. Remy had no time for people like that in his life. And neither did Leigh.

Things didn't get any better then as Sin came stomping into the bar, shaking off the rain from her jacket, not caring if it soaked the nearby guards. Removing her helmet, she looked around with a raised eyebrow before making her way to the bar. Oh she knew EXACTLY who was here. "Got a little stuffy in here since I left, huh?" She asked, obviously lacking a filter like always. Although the rich guy sitting at the bar was cute she had to admit. Nothing but trouble, but cute. Slapping her helmet down on the bar, she resumed her seat from before- which put her exactly in the middle between Remy and Casimir.

Leila chuckled with a shrug, “Meh, let her. No skin off my witchy nose. That is a certain gravedigger’s job, not mine.” She mused as she leaned forward on the bar. She knew Graves would hear about this…If he hadn’t already. Her smirk grew as he asked about how she knew the prince. “Ah….a bartender never reveals her secrets, love.” She shook her finger at him jokingly as she stood back up straight and started making a round of drinks for a table. Kaleb had always been a thorn in her side, but he’d become almost….possessive lately?

She grinned her insanely pretty, slightly offsetting smile as Sin stomped her way back in. with a snap the girl was dry once more. Obviously she reserved that trick for her favorites. “Oh but love, you’re a breath of fresh air.” She winked with a laugh before handing the tray of drinks to the waitress. “Nother Guinness?” She asked, rolling her eyes as Kaleb had the nerve to actually yell her name. “I swear…the line for the crown is going to get shorter…” She grumbled, murderous rage flashing through her eyes before taking a breath and walking down the bar to deal with her rather royal problem.

Kaleb looked at her with a light scowl, "Why are you making such a scene?!" Leila quirked an eyebrow.

"Why are you insisting on being a stubborn twit?" She asked simply, running a hand through her hair.

"Come now, Leigh...all you have to do is make an appearance, maybe take out the-"

"Does your mommy dearest know about me then?" She got her answer as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Ah. She knows of Leigh, the cute bartender...not Leila, the Lowcity bartender and witch. Fuck you, Kaleb. I'm not being paraded around like some parlor trick to piss off your folks." She told him pointedly, holding a ringed finger to his lip to keep him from speaking. "Read my lips, princey, you may own half this city, ye don't own me. Now, in the most respectful way I can possibly say this...." She leaned forward, smirking as what looked like panic flicked through his eyes. "Piss. Off." Her eyes told him not to argue her on any level as she stepped back.

Obviously pissed off he got up, grumbling about how she'd regret it. "Excuse me?" She called to his back, chuckling as he clammed up. Thought so. She had quite a few witchy ways to make his life hell....and he knew that. Sighing happily she stopped in front of the unlikely trio at the bar. "Round of shots? On a very generous prince...." She smirked, letting the coins run back and forth between her hands.

Casimir had watched the second interaction with more interest than the first, though his eyes weren't on the pretty bartendress and the prince, but on the guards tensing at her approach. One of them had his mobile out by his thigh and was hurriedly sending a message to someone... and Casimir had an idea who that might be to. Hopefully the situation diffused before the intended recipient got involved - no one in this bar wanted that.

Moving his eyes back to his fellow patrons, he smiled with a nod. "Who's to say no to free drinks?"

-

Perhaps it was unexpected or perhaps it wasn't... but Ennis Graves' phone began to vibrate. A moment later, "HRH" popped up on the screen and a particular ringtone began to sing...alerting him to a call he would be severely remiss to ignore.

Leila chuckled, her signature smirk on her lips as she heard the door shut rather violently behind the trio. "Aye...there we go! One catch though..." she mused absently as she pocketed the coins. "My pick...and no wimping out." She looked to Remy and Sin knowingly before looking back to the yet to be named handsome stranger at her bar. "You in?"

------------

Ennis let out an audible sigh as his phone went off, having litterally just put his hand on the doorknob to leave for the night. What the fucking hell did those ingrates get into NOW?! Taking a breath, he finally answered the phone, his voice calm as usual, "And how can I be of service....?"

The moment that the guards tensed, Remy did as well. His eyebrow raised as he watched the scene unfold, just waiting for the right moment. He watched as one of the guards called for somebody and his eyes narrowed slightly. If they were calling for some kind of backup, they were going to be in for a surprise. He wasn't afraid to have to kick some coo-yon ass if need be.

As Leila came back and offered shots, he grinned. "It better be some good stuff now, right cher?" He asked with a raised eyebrow as Sin snorted.

"I'm down for free shots, and yea, get me a Guinness will ya, Leigh?" She asked as she yawned and cracked her neck. "You buying next, lion-o?" She asked the richie rich sitting on her other side as Remy snorted in amusement at her nickname. What? The guy had nice hair. No man was allowed to have nicer hair than her, it just wasn't right.
