Snorting, Sin outright laughed at Leila's all telling smirk. As she went on about them having sticks up their asses, she smirked as she raised her bottle of Guinness. "I will drink to that." It was ruined, however, when she went on about her personality. Laughing again, she gave Leila look. "Oh yes, you're a positive, sparkling fucking rainbow," voice rife with sarcasm as she shook her head them with a smirk. There was a reason she kept coming back to this hole in the wall and it wasn't the fucking shitty ass decor.

"Oi Rem! You're being awfully quiet tonight, that's new. Cat got your tongue?" She asked the handsome regular in the corner. Remy turned his gaze to his two favorite women and held up his glass of bourbon.

"Hey peekon ((Pretty much a thorn in one's side)), always a pleasure, yea? Ol' Remy figured he'd let you two catch up now. Ain't no need for me to pipe in." He waved away her words as he winked over at Leila. "Now doan be makin' a bahbin ((pouting)) over at me." He declared as Sin rolled her eyes and turned to look at Leila..

"You still haven't kicked his lazy ass out yet?"

"I'll have ya know that it's a useful ass, yea?" He smirked as Sin snorted, rolling her eyes with a shake of her head.

Leila laughed as Sin and Remy got into it, shaking her head lightly with an exaggerated sigh. "He's like a damn boomerang. Just keeps coming back..." She mused, a smirk fighting to emerge on her lips. "But yes...he does have his uses..." she trailed off as she gave him a knowing glance before rolling her head back towards Sin, "When he isn't breaking my stuff, that is." Obviously, while he was no longer on parole she was still going to give him shit. That statue took a long time to find, dammit! Little did Remy know she was able to fix it a few days back....she just liked the wounded puppy dog act he'd put on occasionally while he thought she was pissed.

While she was preparing to leave, Verena was sort of blocking the exit and Tripp didn't want to be rude to her - she had a strange look in her citrine eyes and Tripp got that 'tingle' on the back of her neck when something... different... was around. It had happened earlier the moment she'd gotten near Leila. It hadn't been wrong yet.

"Um, yes, I am," she offered with a nod. "It's my first time here. I sort of...wandered by here and I got uh, soaked in the rain so... I stopped in here to dry off." She glanced down at her oversized parka, then back up to Verena. "So, um, do you like...come here a lot?"

---

Casimir wandered through the apartment, though he only spent any time at the windows, overlooking the view. The view was what sold a living space... it often determined how much one could charge... and while this one was decent, it wasn't spectacular. This building MIGHT be a sound investment, though the number of floors was a little low. Worst case, he could pay off the tenants, knock it down and start from scratch. That was always fun.

Swinging back around to Ennis, he smiled. "Thanks for the tour. I'll have to consider it." Sauntering back over, he slid past Ennis, back out into the hall to wait for him to close up shop. "You mentioned a decent real estate agent?"

"Is that so? What'd you break this time, Cajun?" Sin quirked her eyebrow as she looked over at Remy as the man rolled his eyes.

"I doan told you I'm sorry! I didn't mean to and ya know it." He grumbled in an adorable way that caused Sin to roll her eyes before turning back to Leila.

"And that's why you put up with him and not me." She drawled as she finished up her beer. She looked over to check on Verena to make sure she was behaving and relieved to see that she was just talking. She seemed fine, the water in her glass almost gone. They'd get Verena her special drink and then be on their way soon.

"You goan come back here after dropping the crazy, after?"

Verena beamed as Tripp talked to her before she nodded her head. "I do! Sin takes me here all of the time, they make really good drinks. Leila makes the best drinks." She declared with an offsetting giggle. "Will you come here again? Do you like it?"

Leila looked over to Verena and Tripp, casting Sin a knowing look before placing the weird drink on the cointer for the coo-coo bird. She personally drank some weird concoctions over the years, but something about this made her stomach clench.

"Yo, looney bin, ya drink is ready." She called out absently, hoping to get her attention off Tripp for at least a moment or so. She looked down at her phone and sighed, "Fucking asshat royal doesnt know how to take a bloody hint..." she grumbled just loud enough for Sin to hear before sighing again. "You are gonna have to get countess dracula out of here soon. I dont need her going ape-shit on the royal guard spotted coming this way..." Leila knew Remy was an exception to Verena's "Kill all men" mentality. She didn't feel like pressing her luck more.

At Remy's question she cracked a wicked grin, ignoring Remy's whining. "You've got to come back out here! Come on! I'll be bored..." she pouted playfully.

-------------

Ennis was grateful they didn't stay long. He locked up behind them as he followed Casimir to the hallway. "Yeah, hold on..." he said simply, replacing the key before the handing him a business card. Decent was an...understatement. He'd just handed him the top realtor in the city. "You can find your way out, yes?" He asked simply as he summoned both elevators; one going up and one going down.

"It's nice," Tripp replied, though she didn't get the chance to answer Verena's second question as Leila called over that her drink was ready. There seemed to be a lot of drinking going on here (it WAS a bar after all), and she didn't really want to get caught again trying to convince people she'd had alcohol before. So far she was doing pretty good in avoiding the subject entirely.

So, when Verena turned away for her drink, Tripp offered another quick smile. "It was nice to meet you, Verena, but I have to go. I have a long walk home."

--

Casimir accepted the card and tucked into the pocket of his suit coat. "Much appreciated, Mr. Graves. I think it's within my immediate skill set to press down on the elevator and maneuver my way to the front doors." He smiled again, nodding to the man as the elevators arrived. "Enjoy your evening. Oh and try to get some rest while you can, hm? I hear the Gala up at the Palace tonight is supposed to be quite wild tonight." Smirking and stepping into the elevator, his pleasant expression stayed until the doors shut. Gods and demons together, that man was as repressed as an aerosol can. Casimir found himself wondering if he'd get offended if he sent him a call girl to ease some of that tension....

As the elevator traveled down, his phone let out a loud BLING! Frowning, he pulled it out and as the screen lit up, he let out a sigh. Well - seemed like it was a stag night after all.

Tucking his phone away and exiting the elevator, he nodded cheerfully to Leo as he stepped back outside, into the rain. With a wave of his hand, the ring on his left middle finger seemed to warm up and a cover of air surrounded him as he glanced over at his parked car. Eh.... maybe he could find somewhere around here that might be fun. He'd be a little overdressed, but it might be worth it.

Before Tripp could blink she would find herself sitting in a bar stool. "Don't you move your ass without seeing me first, lovelie." She warned in an almost sing-song voice. 1) She didn't want her leaving the same time as Verena. 2) It was still pouring. 3) They were still in a rather crappy part of town.

---------

Ennis walked into the other elevator and happily took it back up to his penthouse, digging out his key to access his floor. He let out a breath of relief as he walked through the suite, pouring himself a glass of bourbon probably older than he was, before glancing over his suit selections for the night.

He really didn't like to admiy he was thinking of an excuse not to go to this hell hole. Fuck it, maybe some gold digger would make things interesting at least....

Verena was on that drink before Leila could even finish telling her that it was ready. Grasping the glass with both hands, she had most of it finished with the first gulp. Gasping afterwards, she laughed, a slight outline of red surrounding her mouth as she smiled brightly over at Leila. "Thank you Leila. You always make such delicious red." She told her happily before she took another sip, Tripp seeming to be completely forgotten in the midst of her drink.

Laughing as Leila begged her to come back, she rolled her eyes to make it seem like she wasn't too happy to come back. She had a reputation to upkeep after all. "Yea, you'll probably see me again. I'll be needing more than one beer after dealing with this little delight." She tossed her head in Verena's direction as she drank her drink happily. When she mentioned getting her out of there soon, she nodded her head. She definitely didn't want to be around with Verena when any male royalty came in. While she desperately craved a fight, that wasn't the type of fight she was talking about. So with that thought in mind, she threw several bills onto the bar (she always made sure to tip Leila VERY well for her services) and walked over and clapped her hand on Verena's shoulder. "Finish up and let's go. Did you say thank you?" She asked as the redhead nodded her had and finished up the rest of her drink before it could get any colder.

"See you later Leigh. Remy. TRY to stay somewhat out of trouble." She taunted him before moving to collect her helmet and put it back on again before heading out of the door with Verena in tow, the crazy witch turning as they hit to do to wave brightly at everyone before following Sin into the wet night.

Leila waved Verena’s thanks away, though she grinned at Sin’s assurance that she would return later that night. She blew her a kiss, “Counting on it…” She mused, tucking the money away in the pocket of the half apron she wore around her waist. She walked over to the other two as she cleaned up a bit, “Now, what is this bullshit I hear? You thinking of walking home alone in this? Lovely, that ain’t smart on most nights. Especially not tonight…” She shook her head with an amused sigh as thunder roll.

She hopped up onto the counter then by Remy, looking around as the waitresses sat a couple of drowned rats at tables. She knew the girls could handle the typical beers and wines. Leila also knew who was rolling in sooner rather than later. Her spies never gave her much of a heads up, unfortunately. Her eyes caught some douche in a suit as he waltzed in in a way too dressy of a suit. Obviously someone got lost…She looked back to Remy, poking him in the side of the head. “You gonna keep the royal guard dogs off my ass in a bit, correct?” She teased him with a wink.

Tripp frowned, heavily, when she felt herself forced down on the barstool. She watched as Verena and the Heroine left the bar before moving her gaze back over to Leila. "It's just a few blocks to the bus station." Granted, she didn't have enough money for the full bus far back to campus which meant another several blocks walk, but at least it got her closer than having to walk the WHOLE way - and that part didn't need to be said anyways. "I mean, I know it's my first time here but it's not my first time down here... I, uh, I'm sure I can make my way back, no problem," she offered with a little smile.

As the door to the bar swung open, she blinked as she saw a handsome, familiar-looking man walk in. She tilted her head, curious as to why she recognized him.... only to put together a few seconds later that she'd seen him on the net a couple of times, as well as on the TV. His smile was a little distracting as he waited patiently, eventually directed to the bar. He took a seat a few stools down from her, his mobile phone out and glowing as he tapped on the screen.

"Um...." Tripp looked back to Leila as her mind finally came back to the conversation. "Sorry, what was I, uh, saying?"
