Randon shook his head in amusement. "Mate it will still be there in the morn. Ye can't teach her anything if ye can't stand on ye own feet." He mused with a small laugh, knowing guard dog would have them up at the ass crack of dawn.

"I'll stand tomorrow, don't worry." Aleron mumbled as he waved his hand over in Randon's direction, not making much sense at the moment. "I can stand. And I'll get this spell. No toads though. Toads are bad." He sighed as he rubbed his face briskly again as he tried to stay awake long enough to find this spell so he could properly pass out. His traveling with Asta was always at a leisurely pace. Not the one that Alek had him going. He hadn't hurried like this in quite a long time and forgot what it was like to be this pressured.

Randon quirked an eyebrow, "Toads are bad huh?" He mused, choking back a laugh. Unlike Aleron, Randon was used to being hurried. Whether traveling with his brothers or doing errands with Farron, he was never allowed to be overly leisurely in his pace. It didn't mean this journey hadnt worn on him but less than the others and less than the guard dog gave him credit for. Bastard was like a drill sergeant at point along the way, so he focused on cracking quiet jokes for Milli. Mostly at guard dog's expense but it got her to relax a little and the last thing they needed was for her to have an episode. Farron had told him about the incident in the last town. They needed Milli to get worked up about as much as they all wanted to volunteer to wake Asta up.

"No, I can't imagine sparkling sheep would help you sleep," Alek commented as he shrugged. "The easiest for me to remember was the child's prayer to Amala. That was probably my favorite. My brother Marek taught it to me oddly enough." He looked over at her, his chocolate eyes seeming darker in the fire's glow. "I can teach it to you if you'd like, even though we're not children anymore. I don't think Amala will mind if we bother her with our prayers as adults."

"Yep. Bad." Aleron yawned as he thumbed to the next page to browse the contents of the book loosely. "Toads of the magical kind are usually poisonous. Kissing them is a terrible idea." He murmured quietly as he looked down at the book, blinking several times to try and keep his eyes open and actually concentrate on what the words said. Randon was right, he needed to get to bed. He just couldn't afford to right now.

Millicent rolled her eyes playfully, not sure if he was being sarcastic about the sheep or not. She was too tired to care. She thought over his suggestion, "I vaguely remember it from my youth but I'm foggy on the details." She admitted, not wanting to admit to him just yet she wasn't the most...religious or devout. In fact, she'd given up almost completely on prayer in recent years.

Randon sighed, holding his hand out. "Mate I 'ave been around magic all me life. Watched me brothas lea'n. Tell me which spell ye lookin' fer. I'll find it. Get some rest." He mused, knowing Aleron would probably put up a fight.

Aleron bit back another yawn as he shook his head. "No, I don't want to trouble you. Besides, you need to get some sleep too. I don't want to keep you up." He argued quietly with the young man as he discreetly pinched himself to help wake him up a little more, the small jolt of pain helping only a little.

"Bloody hell, ye mo likely te use the thing as a pillow at this rate. Give it here and rest. Promise no toads." Randon told him "seriously" a smirk twitching on his lips as he spoke. "Me fam owned a farm. I'm used to late night and early morns. I'm much less likely te conk out...."

Aleron was going to protest more before sighing as he finally relented and gave the book over to Randon. "I'm looking for a simple light starter spell. There's a couple, but this is one of the more basic, safer ones." He explained.

Randon chuckled, "Got it. Lots of toads." He mused, grinning as he opened the book on his lap. "I'm screwin. Get some sleep, mate. I'll leave the page ma'ked for ye." He waved Aleron away as he scanned over the pages, his mind digging back to the lessons his brothers would get from his mother while he learned how to fight with his father. He always eavesdropped, for a while thinking maybe his magic would show up one day. That it was just late. Obviously, that wasn't going to happen.
