"What noise? Why what's wrong Randon?" Asta asked him in that same tone of voice with a smirk, batting her eyelashes and giving him the vacant look that she often wore when trying to get people to leave her alone.

Millicent blinked, more surprised he was beside her for once. "Yes, of course. I'll be fine..." She assured him with a small smile. Honestly she was happy he was going about his own business for a bit. She turned back to Farron as they entered the shop, feeling weird but relieved not to have to hide for once.

She thumbed through a few garments, wanting nothing more than some simple clothing. Maybe even some slacks... She kept her eyes on the clothing, however, out of habit and to avoid the leering eyes she knew were present.

Randon went to comment when he saw a mislaid stone in the walkway, "As--" He sighed, grabbing her arm before she face-planted. "If ye would stop with the doe stare thats foolin' no one..." He teased as he let go once she was steady. Smooth she was not...

Asta squeaked when she suddenly found herself from Aleron's side, Randon picking her up and moving her. "Was that necessary?" She asked him with a frown. "And it does too. It works all of the time."

"Sorry. Next time I'll let ye fall flat on ye face like a gentleman." Randon quipped dryly, rolling his eyes in Aleron's direction. How did the poor man deal?! He looked back to her, "Oye, maybe on some poor, lacklusta saps but its blindin'ly obvious te anyone with a brain ye puttin' on a ruse. A poor one at that..." He added with a smirk before pausing at a stall. His eyes scanned over the various goods before plucking a simple chain up. He figured it would be good to have a quick spot to hide the ring on his hand should he need to. Better safe than snatched.

((On this episode of 'What Milli is really thinking" : *OH THANK GOD, HE'S FINALLY LEAVING.* Tune in next time to see what she comes up with next!))

Alek nodded, not offering anything else. He waited until she was fully in the shop before taking the short walk down to the weapons shop. Maybe he could find something particularly nice... Haggling was a talent of his.

With his back turned, he didn't see the bravest of the two young men slip into the shop behind Millicent...

((XD She's honestly conflicted. Its the YAY he's gone! vs Oh fuck he's gone...))

Millicent smiled briefly as she collected a few things. A few pairs of slacks, some nice tunic tops... She had turned to look at the corsets and skirts when she found a young man in her way. "Uh, pardon me..." She mused simply, stepping around him with a shake of her head. Even if her face didn't show it her stomach was contorting on itself with unease. Especially when she realized Farron was across the shop.

Aleron simply shrugged in reply to Randon with a small smile on his face even as Asta scowled. "But I wasn't going to fall!" She argued, even though Randon was most likely right. She was too clumsy for her own good. "And what do you mean poor? It is not!! Especially since it really is part truth. I'm not exactly what one would call intelligent."

"Asta. Don't start that argument again." Aleron warned, tired of hearing her call herself a dunce. He hated their village so much for what they did to her...

Randon looked over his shoulder after handing the merchant a coin for the chain. "Oye, again lass? What bloody nonsense were ye force fed the make ye think that. Maybe I've only seen that spark in full force when ye ah angry, love, but its always there. Ye can't possibly be serious..." He mused as he strung his ring on the chain and clasped it around his neck, the piece now hidden under his thin white shirt.

"Well it's true it is!" Asta argued heatedly with Randon. "You think I would know me own mind. I'm not smart, not like Aleron is. I don't pick up things as easily as he. Things take me more time. And I still can't write and can barely read.

"I've told you that it's because you're dyslexic. It doesn't make you stupid, it just means you need a little more teaching than others." Aleron cast Randon an impatient look. It was obvious that they had been over this several times before.
