"Ah, I used to... but I was never much of a good mark. Didn't have th'patience for it to be honest," Farron explained with a hapless wave of her hand. "My Da would always yell at me to stop being so hasty with my aim, but I just felt like, if I knew where it wanted to go, it would go there, y'know? Alas.... not exactly how it works. I moved on not long after that, realizing it wasn't meant to be." She shrugged. "That being said, I've forged more than my fair share for others. I know what I'm lookin' for, not that you don't or anything," she tacked on with a nod.

She looked over to Alek, who seemed to be in his own little world. She had no doubt though if something were to suddenly go down though, he'd be on his toes in seconds. "How about it, guardsman? Up for some shopping?"

Alek brought his eyes over to Farron and Milli lightly with a shrug. "I guess. You shouldn't call me 'guardsman' outside of here though."

"I know, I know. Names and such. Men." Farron rolled her eyes to Millicent. "Always thinkin' we don't know what's goin' on. Let's get yeh some food and we'll be off," she said, walking back toward the counter where Beryl was cleaning some mugs.

Aleron grinned at Randon as he nodded his head. "I do believe we'll get along well, Randon." He commented. "And yes, i definitely want to take a look around and see what this place has to offer."

Millicent nodded, giggling silently as Farron remained unfazed by Alek's ways, even teasing him a bit. Good. She didn't need everyone immediately harder if, for anything, for the fact it made her life easier. She walked over and offered up the remaining bag of baked goods to Alek, taking a bite of a fresh, buttery roll herself. She felt a lot better but she still wanted to be easy on her stomach a little longer.

"See, easy enough. Was there anywhere in particular you wanted to stop?" She asked him, tilting her head a little bit which caused her long mane of hair to spill over her shoulder.

---

Randon flashed Aleron a grin, "Well that's good to hear!" He mused simply, honestly happy Farron and Millicent weren't the only ones who could bare him. Well, Asta too, but it depended on the hour. "Right then," He looked over at Asta then, "are you human enough to come with us, m'lady, or would ye ratha' spend the day with the awkward bundle ova theya?" He asked her with a light smirk as he discretely nodded his head to Milli as she handed the bag over to Alek.

Alek offered Millicent his thanks as he took the bag and fished out a blueberry muffin. He could still feel warmth coming from the muffin itself, even has he took a bite of it.

He shrugged a shoulder at her question and made a vague gesture as if for her to decide. He'd been here several times, but there were any number of smithies and weapon shops. It just depended on what she wanted. He couldn't say much of this though as his mouth was stuffed with delicious blueberry freshness.

Farron was on her way back when she stopped by Randon, elbowing her way into the conversation with a smirk his way. "We're goin' shopping for the lady t'find a bow. Are yeh off to meander? If so, you," she said, staring at Randon, "Keep your sticky fingers t'yerself, understand?"

Millicent giggled silently, pulling off a piece of her roll. "Really? Is that so? Very interesting..." She teased as he tried to covey his thoughts through hand gestures.

Randon blinked as Farron made her appearance. He scowled lightly and nudged her. "Oye, ye of little faith lass!" He told her before nodding, "Aye...figure we'll get our bearings. Have fun with that bundle of denial..." He teased lightly with a small smirk.

Asta finished her chocolate twist before glaring over at Randon. "I still hate you, don't talk to me devil." She muttered as Aleron chuckled.

"Come Asta, be nice. How about if you go with us I'll buy you all of your favorite pastries?" He bribed her as Asta thought about how much chocolate that was. "Deal." She said finally, looking over at Millicent and Alek as Randon talked about them. They were pretty awkward....

Alek gave her a look, furrowing his brows as he swallowed his bite. "....I was trying to say it's your decision, completely based on what you want and what you're looking for. Finer quality, higher end materials, you'll probably want to go to a seller, but if you want something you know was hand-forged and solid, a smithy." He shrugged as he lifted the muffin to take another bite... but stopped. He'd probably have to talk again.

((where's your sense of humor, Alek!? STOP BEING SO SERIOUS!))

"At least they're cute, unlike you. I mean it." She pointed at him. "F'I see you running down the street with the guard after yeh or hear of any thefts, I'll come lookin' fer you myself. No thievin', no cutpursin', nothin', hear me?" She glanced over at Aleron and Asta. "You both need t'watch him like a hawk."

Millicent rolled her eyes with a light sigh, "I knew that...ye act like I've neva been to the market." I just never had to worry about running out of money.... She tacked on mentally, knowing how vain it would sound out loud. She figured the gems would be better usage in gaining passage to Vallonde than goods. "I meant anything for you, Alek. This isn't like home. You do have something of a say in this." She said with a light shrug as she munched on more of her roll.

Randon rolled his eyes, resting a heavy hand on Farron's shoulder. "Aye lass...I know the rules of the land, lass. Ye 'ave te have a wee more faith in me. Sides, I'll be with ye moral compass ova hea..."

"Oh...." Alek shook his head, "Nothing that I can't get later. Just supplies enough to reach Vallonde, maybe an extra change of clothes or two. Let's focus on getting you what you need for now," he said with a nod in her direction. He took the chance to take another bite of his muffin, wondering what was was in the bag he was currently holding. Missing dinner last night had left him two beats shy of ravenous, but he was composing himself well, he thought.

-

"Uh huh... just like yeh knew th'rules back home," Farron said, reaching over and plucking Randon's hand off her shoulder. "Both eyes and more if yeh can spare 'em with this one," she said before reaching over to pat his cheek with a smirk. "Traveler. Asta, dear." She nodded to them both and meandered over to the door, taking a bite of the number of sweet rolls Beryl had wrapped in some paper for her to take. "Shall we?" she called over to Alek and Millicent.

Aleron just smiled at Farron as he nodded. "I'll make sure to keep both eyes on him." He promised as he nudged Randon. He figured the man would behave though. He hoped so at least.
