Randon looked up from his apple (I seriously think he has an addiction...) as he heard someone coming down the stairs. "Mornin'!" He mused with a small grin as he saw it was Aleron, taking a chunk out of his fruit. "I was about te head out, try and find the bakery again we passed on the way in. You and Asta interested?" He offered, figuring he'd do as Farron asked and be civil. Well...maybe not to the guard dog. 5 out of 6 was good, right? |

"Ahhh.....good morning," Alek supplied warily, cursing under his breath yet again. "How did you sleep?" He didn't push the door open any more and held fast to his towel. Maybe she would just simply go downstairs for breakfast? |

Aleron smiled over at Randon, running his fingers through his still slightly damp hair. "Morn to you as well, Randon." He greeted him. The sounds of the bakery had his stomach rumbling. Fresh baked goods sounded really good... "I'm up for it, I don't know about Asta though. I don't want to be the one to wake her up with her guard horse if you know what I mean..." He trailed off. It was one thing to use magick to wake her up, but he couldn't very well do that in the middle of a town. "You're more than welcome to try though." He mused with a smile. |

Milli smiled, running a hand through her hair. "Better than I have in a few days." She admitted, squatting to get the brush out of her bag. When she stood and realized he was in the lavatory still she frowned a bit. "You alright? I do need to freshen up before we head downstairs if you don't mind." She mused with a small laugh, having since crossed her arms under her chest. Not because she was angry but her corset had loosened more during the night and she didn't want to risk anything. --- Randon thought about it before giving a light shrug, "Ehh, I'll see if I can stir her...I think she'd be a bit more annoyed that we left without her. Let's just hope she doesn't fall off the ladder again." He mused with a knowing smirk before heading out to the stables, a fresh apple in his satchel as well as a few sugar cubes. "Asta! Ye up lass? Come on, now, lass, bakery is a'waitin. Move ye buns..." He called out as he waited at the bottom of the ladder to the loft area she'd claimed. At least he was close enough he could catch her... |

"Good luck then." Aleron bid the man as he gave him a wave. Hopefully Randon would come back in one piece... As Randon made his way into the stables, everything was quiet and peaceful, some of the horses grazing quietly and others still sleeping. There wasn't a sound as he spoke up and into the loft. As he was standing there, he heard the clop of shoed hooves against the ground and turned to was Asta's big brute of a horse slipping his way out of his pen. Somehow, the horse had managed to open the door and wasn't very happy to see Randon nearby and Randon only had one way to go to escape. Up. |

"Ah....well, yes, I'm fine, I just... didn't expect you awake yet," he mumbled as he disappeared from view. "I am glad you're feeling better. I wanted to apologize about not coming to dinner last night. I shouldn't have let myself fall asleep like that." He scratched his head again, sliding his hand through his hair to sweep it back off his face. It was getting longer than he preferred it to be - maybe he'd get a quick trim while they were here. Surely there was a barber who could do the deed and give him a shave as well. He was starting to feel less like a guardsman and more like a ratty thief... and there was already one too many of those in their group. "Would you mind very much..." He trailed off as he found the words particularly uncomfortable. "If I came out to get my clothes? As I mentioned, I hadn't expected you awake yet." |

Randon sighed when he didn't hear any movement from the loft. He did pause, however when he heard the clomps of hooves coming up behind him. "Oh bollux..." He sighed, looking over his shoulder to find none other than the demon horse coming up at him looking none too pleased. He quickly judged the situation before determining that it was too early for this and quickly climbing up the ladder. He'd rather not get trampled first thing, thank you. He sighed, realizing the loft was rather small and careful not to step on Asta before squatting beside her. "Asta. Up and at 'em, lass. Ye demon horse is determined te kill me and I'd really appreciate if ye told him not te do that..." ------- Millicent shrugged, "I'm glad you finally got some rest. The others too, actually." She assured him with a small smile. Once she saw he had slipped back into the lavatory she quickly set down her brush and, with a little magical help, readjusted her corset to the proper tightness. There, much better! At his question she looked up from slipping her belt around her waist. It took her a moment before fully realizing what he'd said. "Of course not...but, would it be easier if I just brought them over to you?" She asked, biting back an awkward laugh. |

Asta was snoozing peacefully up in the loft when she heard a voice annoyingly right next to her ear. Something about her horse... "Camulus get back into your stable." She muttered, but it did the trick as the stallion pranced back into his stable. "There, you can leave me alone now." She replied to the annoying voice, not even awake enough to determine who was talking to her. WHY were they talking to her? Couldn't this person see she was trying to sleep?! |

"Ah...right, yes, that'll work. Would you mind?" He felt really...immature standing in here, hiding from the woman he'd taken a solemn oath to protect. He'd have to time his personal moments a little better after this. - Farron finally found her way back to the inn and walked inside. Beryl tittered a hello her way and Farron responded in kind. "Happy morn," she said to the woman as she held out her bag. "Treat from the baker down the street? Kind man. Said he knew ye very well and mentioned yeh had a weakness for his chocolate eclairs. I brought yeh three and yer husband's all-a-flutter for the strawberry danish?" She brought them out and smiled at the woman, glancing around the room. She didn't really expect to see anyone, but she did find Aleron already up and about. "Pleasant morn, traveler," she called out to him as she sorted out the treats with Beryl. |

Randon looked over the edge to see the demon horse actually walking away. He chuckled, looking back to Asta with a smirk, "Sorry, lass. Can't do that. Came te get ye fer breakfast. Fresh bakery treats. Come on now....I'll poke ye." He warned, unable to keep from laughing at her grumpy nature. ---- Millicent laughed softly, shaking her head as she gathered his things from the chair and brought them over. "Should I shield my eyes?" She asked, teasing in her tone even if it was minor as she held the pile out to the crack in the doorway. "Now hurry up. I am actually hungry. I want to grab breakfast soon.." She added, feeling her stomach rumbling. It was so nice to feel normal once more... |
