"Ahh... so maybe our paths don't part as soon as I expected." Aleron declared sort of excited. He liked the idea of everyone staying together. Something about it just seemed right. He felt like they needed to stay together for a little longer. "This will definitely be an interesting trip." He mused.

MIlli laughed softly as Randon made a face at Farron, thinking they acted more like siblings than friends. She nodded solemnly as the older girl continued, "I understand. Not exactly like a rogue like myself can exactly settle back seamlessly into the swing of things." She mused with a wane smile, poking at her feed more than eating. That was more to her stomach than the conversation though. "I know why ye left, by the by, not the thieving charges ye told us. I am truly sorry ye had to go through that. Its not fair at all..."

"Interesting is one way to put it," Farron said, tilting her fork as she twirled her knife around her fingers effortlessly once before cutting into more chicken.

She looked up at the princess and smiled lightly with a shrug. "T'is what it is. All that matters t'me is our families are safe."

Millicent bit back the initial reaction to tell them the truth. To tell them what would happen. She couldn't imagine her exit made things any better. She had inadvertently attacked dignitaries from all corners of the realm. Anti magic was going to rum rampid...

Instead she just smiled with a nod, "I'm glad you get some peace of mind at least." She said simply, carefully eating more food.

"Which I'm sure they're going to be okay." Aleron tried to assure Farron with a soft smile. If he could, he'd find somebody to look after them. Nobody should have to worry about those things.

Farron's light eyes darted to Aleron and she smiled with a nod, "Thank you, I hope so. I'd like t'try and get a message back t'my sister... but I don't think it'd be wise from here. We're still too close." She looked down, prodding at her potatoes before pushing aside the negative thoughts.

"At any rate, this food, eh? Totally worth coming all th'way out here t'stay. The Guardsman chose a good place."

MIllicent went upstairs after dinner, smiling as she found Alek passed out in the chair. She was glad to see he finally got some rest after all. She took a blanket over him before shedding her boots, loosening her corset a little bit before finally crawling into bed. Oh how nice it felt to be back in a real bed again...

The next morning she didn't stir as the sun streamed through the windows. Instead, she simply mumbled and rolled over. Only her red hair was peeking out from above the blankets. Usually she was up at the crack of dawn but her body was so drained...

Randon was surprisingly up early. Despite the three large mugs of mead he felt perfectly fine, deciding to grab a bath before Farron stirred. He knew today would be a lot of stocking up. That even though they were out of the county they couldn't stay here long. Only to gain some needed rest, supplies, and food. Maybe he'd get his boots re-soled while he was here...they were looking a bit ratty.

He ran his hand through his hair once more before heading down. Food. Definitely food time.

Alek woke in the middle of the night to find himself covered in a blanket.... and exactly where he'd left himself some hours ago. His boots were discarded carelessly in front of him and there was a crick in his neck from having dropped his chin to his chest at some point during his rest. He could heard the soft breathing of Millicent and after letting his eyes adjust to the darkness, could see her form underneath the quilt of the bed.

He hadn't stirred for the rest of the evening even though his body was very much awake. He'd spent it quietly - resorting through his pack, tossing muddied and dirtied clothes off to the side to clean at some point while they were here, repacking things and scowling as Marek's uncouth book fell out of the shirt he'd wrapped it in. He stuffed it back where it came from, wondering if he could get a few coins at a broker for it.... it'd do him more good that way.

When the first rays of sun peeked through the lace curtains, Alek allowed himself to stand up from the foot of the bed and stretch. It was officially late enough to be awake. He looked back at Millicent, seeing nothing but red hair poking out from the quilt. He didn't want to disturb her, so into the lavatory he went. With the door almost fully shut (he refused to shut it completely in case of emergency), the sound of the basin filling shouldn't have been loud enough to disturb her.

A solid half hour later, Alek stepped out of the basin feeling human again. He wrapped the towel tightly around his waist as he looked around for his clothes. Hadn't he...?

"Bloody hell," he grumbled, peering a chocolate eye through the cracked open door. His fresh set of clothing was sitting on his chair. Scrubbing his hand through his wet hair, he turned his eye to Millicent to ensure she was still slumbering deeply.

Farron was awake before any of them by pure habit. It was always best to work the forge before the sun's rays burnt down upon them and heated the workshop three times as much as without it. She had dressed and left silently, mindful of Randon's sleep.

By the time he was stirring and looking for food, she was already out and about in the village. There were others just as restless as she was. She passed several shops that were cleaning up for the morning and even stopped in at a small bakery where wonderful smells were wafting from. The baker was a kindly man, offering her all sorts of tasty treats. She left the bakery with a sack full of bread, crumbles, tarts, and cakes all for the sheer price of a smile and a chat with the baker

Unfortunately for Alek, Millicent had rolled back over to her other side and pushed some of the quits off of her. Finally she couldn't deny it any more. She was awake. She groaned softly as she sat up, her hair in long, red waves around her as she rubbed at her eyes.

She blinked them open slowly, clearing the sleep from them as she sat there for a few moments. At least she felt a lot better than she had the past few morns. Blinking her eyes a few more times with a yawn, she looked around to find the room empty. She thought he'd gone downstairs for breakfast when she heard a door open.

Milli saw Alek's head poke out and she gave him a sleepy smile, "Morn..." She said simply, seemingly happily unaware of what was going on as she stood carefully, happy to see her leg wasn't rejecting the weight.

Aleron was up relatively early, waking at the same time as the sun. Stretching, he let out a jaw cracking yawn as he scratched at his bare chest and blinked the sleep out of his eyes. Sitting up, he decided he should probably clean off all of the travel dust from his body. With a plan in mind, he got up to head to the washroom attached to his room to finally get clean.

Once that was accomplished and he was dressed in clean clothes, he headed downstairs to go and try to find some breakfast. He thought about grabbing Asta, but he knew that she'd be asleep for quite some time more. Like him, she had probably stayed up reading. But unlike him, she didn't have the discipline to wake up early despite going to bed late.
