Millicent rolled her eyes, looking at him with a quirked eyebrow. "Alek there's no reason ye have to wait outside. Sit, relax, change...there is no reason to be on guard." She told him simply as she collected her stuff up. There would be a room between them after all. There was nothing to be awkward about! Well, okay, almost nothing. At his offer of food she shook her head, "My stomach is still not quite right. I'm good for now. But seriously, you need to rest, Alek. I'm fine now, we're safe for the moment. Please, even if it is just for my own sake. Sit...relax. I know it is a foreign concept but, humor me?" She asked him, her stuff piled in her arms as she waited on an answer from him. ---- Randon groaned, "I enjoy being a spoiled thief every now and again thank you!" He sighed, rolling over and running a hand over his face. When she ordered him to go get Asta he sighed, making a face. "Fi--ine....though i think this is jus' an excuse te see Aleron." He mused, a light smirk on his lips as he forced himself to sit up with a few extra moments before standing. |

Alek wanted to protest, assure her he was absolutely fine and could handle it, but it wouldn't be the full truth. His body was angrily standing against him every chance it got - it needed sleep and a lot of it, but he wouldn't cave to it... not yet. "Go," he said gently, tossing his head in the direction of the bathroom. "I'll be just here." He vaguely gestured to the chair beside the door. - Farron rolled her eyes at him as she dug around in her pack for a fresh set of clothing. "I don't need an excuse," she told him as she reached down and pulled off her boots with a sigh. It was good to get them off. She removed Pyr's amulet and set it in an empty iron goblet beside their pitcher of fresh water. All the furniture was hand-made wood and Pyr had a bad habit of leaving scorch marks wherever he rested if it wasn't around her neck. "Besides, who'm I to disregard the blessing his gods gave him? He's easy on the eyes unlike someone I'm unfortunately stuck in this room and many others t'come with..." |

Millicent nodded, "You better be...." She told him simply, giving him a knowing look before heading into the lavatory to draw herself a bath. She carefully undressed, slipping into the basin with a light sigh. This was so much better... She took a little longer than she'd initially thought she would, having not expected the outfit to be what it turned out to be. Oh she was going to kill Leila one day. She sighed, Nyss helping her with the corset as she incorporated a simple spell to dry her hair. She braided her hair simply as Nyss returned to the amulet for some rest, the braid reaching just above the small of her back. She sighed as she exited the bathroom, "I feel ridiculous..." She mumbled, looking to make sure he'd kept his promise. ----- Randon just chuckled at her words, searching through his bag for a new shirt or vest at least. "Ayee, ye entitled te ye opinions, lass. Even if ye ah dead wrong." He said simply with a smirk. He poured some water into the basin, quickly washing his face and hands. He tamed his hair as best he could, banking on drawing a bath in the morning. He slipped his shirt off, tossing it on his bag before slipping on a simple vest instead. For the first time, his tattoo was completely on display, encompassing his right arm and spilling over onto his chest. "So, since I know she's not with Aleron, fancy a guess where I should begin looking for our clumsy little blonde?" |

Unsurprisingly, he had not kept his promise... or at least not all of it. He was standing by the window, eyes focused out as he surveyed whatever it was that he could see. He hadn't changed, hadn't relaxed, and barely looked as though he'd sat. In fact, there was no evidence he actually had. "I can see the Great Oak from here... I suppose this is what they consider a grea--" He turned as spoke to look over at her and his words stumbled out of his mouth as his eyes fell upon her. "...t view." He blinked a couple of times and turned back to the window as if she had walked out of the other room without anything on at all. - "Mmm, I'd try th'stables next door," Farron said as she pulled her shirt from her breeches and prepared to disrobe. She apparently had no qualms in doing so with Randon in the room. "Like as much t'be there looking after the beasts. Do me a favor and knock on Aleron's door and let him know about dinner, will you? There's a good lad. Run along now. No free shows for you until you're old enough to know what you're looking for." |

Millicent nodded, confused when he stumbled over his words. "Do I look that silly?" She asked with a small laugh as she set her other dress to the side. She doubted she'd be able to get the stains out but it was worth a shot. "I feel ridiculous. Leila had a hand in packing my stuff." She made a slight face, knowing she had packed much simpler clothes than this. In fact, the heels were echoing against the floor as she walked over to him. "Why are you so bloody stubborn, Aleksandr?" She asked with the same small laugh as she leaned against the wall nearby. Obviously the bath and relaxing had done her some good. ---- Randon made a face at her, taking a pillow from her bed as he passed and whalloped her in the back of the head. "Spider." He said simply as he left, closing the door behind him before she could throw something. Probably sharp. He knocked on Aleron's door, "Aleron? You in theya lad?" He called simply, sounding a bit bored. All he wanted was some nice sleep. He'd get her back for this... |

"Dinner's soon, I know. I'll be down in a little." Aleron informed Randon through door, seeming to have read his thoughts without having actually done so. It actually wasn't magic of any sorts, it just seemed the most logical reason that Randon would appear at the door. That and... "And Asta is in the stables if you're looking for her." He tacked on as he stuck his nose back into the book he was currently reading... |

Randon shook his head with an amused smirk, "Figured that part out, thanks. See you then." He paused though. "Would ye mind informing the awkward not quite a couple down the hall, mate? Obviously he's taken more of a shinin te ye than me. Thanks." He tacked on before heading down to the stables. He whistled as he walked in, looking around a bit. "Oye, Asta...come on. Been sent te fetch ye fe dinna. I'm hungre so let's go. Chop chop, lassie..." He called out as he searched before seeing a light in the loft area. "I see ye...come on now, lass.." |

"Sure. I'll grab them in a second. Next page." Aleron informed Randon in a distracted voice as he waved lazily in the direction of the door. He'd just finish up here and grab the Princess and her guardsman... As Randon walked into the stables and made his presence known with his loud voice, Asta jumped rather violently with a loud squeal. As she spazzed after being scared, her leg bumped her candle and knocking it over into the hay. Book being thrown out of her hands, she squealed again as she moved to knock out the small fire starting, smacking at it frantically. "Just a second!" She called out, sighing in relief as she stopped it before it came seriously. She stood up then and walked over to the ladder to climb down and join Randon at the bottom. On her way down, her boot got caught in a run and she ended up squealing as she fell backwards onto her back on the ground as she stared up at the ceiling in a daze. |

"Obviously," Alek tacked on quietly as she came to stand across from him. "I'm not entirely certain Leila has any grasp on the concept of 'practical traveling attire'. Perhaps you should consider sending her a scroll or two outlining what would be more... useful in such situations." He glanced at her again. "Not to say you don't look..." Beautiful was the term that came to mind, but he stifled it. "Good. I just....can't see how those heels are going to fare in the soggy wetlands between here and Vallonde." He turned his attention back to her, a bit confused at her question. "I don't understand," he replied, eyebrows furrowing. "How am I being stubborn?" - Farron stood there and reached for the other empty goblet, but her door was shut before she got the chance. Little slimy rat, he was. With him gone, she stripped out of her clothes and walked over to the wash basin, cupping enough water to at least clean up a bit. She didn't mind the dirt and grime, quite used to it in fact, but traveling with royalty was a bit more pressure to appear decent. Even if this royalty seemed much different from what she had been expecting. After a quick wash and running water through her ink-soaked hair, she dressed in a fresh set of clothes and exited the room, tucking Pyr's amulet beneath her men's style black shirt as she made her way down to the dining room. |

Millicent shook her head with a small smile, "I have other boots, Alek, but since we're not going any further than the inn tonight I don't see the harm in them." She defended the outfit lightly. Well, not the revealing corset or high slit in her skirt but...she knew Leila had a reason behind packing it. She just didn't know what. "I asked ye te sit...relax. All you've done is torture your body further by denying it rest. You deserve it after the ordeal we've been through." She assured him with a light smile, pulling her braid around and playing idly with the end. "I never did get the chance to thank ye properly for saving me..." She added, her cheeks dusting a light pink once more. |
