"Until I find a place and the person to settle down with? The road is my home." Aleron agreed with a smile before nodding. "There are definitely some places on this planet, however, that I would not take your friend to." He told her, thinking that he wouldn't even bring Asta to those places. Not if he wanted them both to live to see tomorrow. He looked over as he heard Alek and raised his eyebrow and mimicking Farron's expression. "Somebody sounds a little flustered." He murmured to her quietly so the guardsman would not hear him. His arms were still full of the sticks that Farron had placed there so once they made a pit, it should be rather easy to get a fire going. |

Millicent rolled her eyes, "It wouldn't kill ye to sit for a moment while you ate..." She pointed out sagely, tilting her head slightly at the book in his hands and wondered what had him so flustered. "What's wrong? What did Marek do this time?" She asked simply, amazed she was able to keep the amusement from her voice. She frowned slightly and gave him a pointed look as he started in though. "Oye. Don't sit thea and ba'k orders. Ye no betta than the rest of us out heya. They a doin fine, ye flustered nargle." Randon quipped, boredly twisting his ring around his finger. He'd set up spots for himself and Farron to sleep and the horses were fed and watered. Edited by RiddleMeThis396, Jul 16 2014, 02:55 AM.

"It's nothing," he quickly responded to Millicent, shooting Randon a glare as well. He shoved the book into his pack and turned his attentions back to Farron and Aleron. "....Please light the fire." Farron lowered her brow and nodded, "That's better. Politeness'll get you further than anything," she instructed him, her tone quite matronly as she bent down and started moving around some of the soil to build a good fire pit. "Set up the firewood, won't you? I need to go grab Pyr," she asked Aleron as she stood and walked toward Grey. |

"Yes mistress." Aleron teased Farron as he dropped his armful of wood and began to fashion them into a nice stack of wood to be set on fire. Once he had it all situated, he sat back on his haunches and looked over to check up on Asta. She was actually... staying out of trouble for the moment. No bad moments since the pool incident earlier. At the moment, she was dangling a carrot out in front of his horses nose, trying to get him to beg for his treat. Shaking his head at her, he turned back and waited for Farron to return with Pyr so they could get the fire started. |

Millicent smiled contently as he changed his tone with the others. "Now will you please sit?" She asked him once more as she opened up her parcel of food. "I swear to you I won't bite." She teased lightly, looking confused as Randon let out a coughing fit which his his laughter. "You alright Randon?" "Im fine Milli...just peachy." He assured her with a chuckle as he composed himself. She turned back to Alek and he just shook his head with a smirk as he idly played with his ring. Oh by the gods this would either drive him mad or provide endless entertainment.... He was counting on the latter. |

Farron came back a few moments later and turned her back to Millicent, Alek, and Randon. She wasn't sure how the three of them would react to seeing what they would see. She was muttering, or hissing really was what it sounded like. Some kind of...hissing song. It was melodic, in a way, but at the same time, not entirely human at all. She held Pyr's amulet, which was burning as bright as a flame, over the built cone of logs. What happened next was quite amazing. The blazing jewel that Pyr was contained in literally melted out of the center of the intricate amulet and enough magma to fill a large bowl smothered the wood. Pyr hissed and popped and crackled as he consumed the wood and eventually, he seeped in between the logs and settled at the base of them, spitting flames and sparks until the logs caught fire. Farron looked over to Aleron as Pyr came alive, watching him curiously. -- Alek frowned at the way the blacksmith turned her back to him as she set the fire. What about setting a fire was so secretive? Nevertheles, he shot another look over Randon's way, desiring nothing more than to tell him to go soak his head, but he maintained composure. The man hadn't really done anything to him. Yet. He glanced over at Millicent and sighed with a nod as he walked over and sat beside her, a respectful distance between the two of them. Once sitting, he pulled out his water flask and held it out to Millicent first, as well as some dried beef and traveler's bread. |

When Farron came back with Pyr, he couldn't help but watch with complete fascination as she had the magma spirit help them start the fire. His eyes were glued to the spirit before finally breaking away and looking over at Farron once the fire was going steadily. "That language was beautiful, what is it?" He asked her with a smile, that being the first thought on his mind. |

Millicent smiled as he finally sat beside her, wondering why it took so much coaxing. She took a sip of water before taking a piece of the bread and meat. "Thanks..." She mused, offering up some of the cheese from her pouch. She paused before eating, though, and looked down at her pendant. The movement wasn't strong enough to be picked up on by sight but she could feel the slight vibrations against her skin. The only time this happened was when the moon was fullest and at its peak. She never really knew why it did. Just...always had. Thing was...that wasn't the phase they were in. Something was causing it but she had no clue why. Maybe it was because Aleron was nearby with his magic...but it hadn't acted out all damn day! Sighing she just bit into her food, unfazed by the simple road food. She knew if she tapped it or tried to get it to settle it would only do it more. Like a child you said no to. Her father told her the pendant was special...he'd just never got the chance to explain why... |

Farron allowed a little smile as Aleron watched, clearly in sheer fascination. She'd been quite the same she'd first seen Pyr in his true form... and this wasn't even it. Pyr was the Soul of a magma river. He yearned to be a river again, not just a bowl of liquid, but at the same time, refused to leave Farron's presence. She hadn't entirely grasped why just yet. "It's Pyr's language... there's really no name for it," she said as she allowed herself to fall backward onto her bum, her arms wrapping around her knees. "He taught me when I was a little girl, just after I found him." -- Alek accepted some of the cheese as well with a polite 'thank you' before taking a bite of it as he delved back into the pack, making sure to keep Marek's 'present' WELL out of sight. He didn't seem to pay much attention to the people around him... at least not outwardly. In reality, his inattention was actually quite the opposite; he was carefully monitoring everyone around him in the event someone...or something...decided it rear it's ugly face while they were all camped and relaxed. |

"It's beautiful. Do you think he would teach me?" Aleron asked her with a smile as he leaned back on his own hands, seeming to be quite comfortable and at ease at them moment. There wasn't a shred of tension on his frame, and his deep voice was soothing and calm. Everything about Aleron seemed to scream peace and security. It seemed as if not a hair was out a place, there was no frazzled feelings or worry creases. He just... was. |
