Millicent nodded at his words, hands behind her to prop her up as he worked. She tried her hardest to keep the wincing and flinching to a minimum, knowing if she bit her freshly healed lip it would only open once more.

She saw the frown on his lips as he looked over the wound. She grumbled slightly as she felt the poultice onto the wound before taking a deep breath. "I'm guessing its not getting any better then?" She sighed but did nod in agreement. "I think its a solid plan. I still can't out much weight on it which concerns me." She admitted softly, not wanting the others to know just how crappy she felt. She refused to complain. Hell, she wasn't telling Alex the whole truth either. The headaches and dizziness she chalked up to lack of sleep and constant pain, even if it was relatively dull. She could play that off and hide it. Only being able to utilize one leg? That was a bit harder.

"I don't think that's possible. He's so... well serious all of the time! And it's not even like he's nice." Asta told him, remembering quite clearly how he treated her. He may treat the princess with respect upon occasion, but that was Alek's only positive point in her book.s She blinked several times once more as Randon said they would be joining their group. "...You will?" She repeated, suddenly not so sure about all of this.

-

Once it was settled that Farron and Randon would be joining their group, Aleron hid his smile. He felt... at ease with all of this. This was definitely the way things were supposed to be. They were all supposed to be together for something.

When Farron offered to go get things ready and find firewood, he immediately offered up his help. "Let me give you a pair of helping hands. Those never hurt." He offered up to her as he jogged over to catch up.

Randon nodded with a chuckle, "Whatsa matta, Asta?" He asked with a quirked eyebrow. "Come now...we can poke fun at the guard with the stick up his bum. Keep the others more sane...it'll be fun!" He teased her lightly, seeing the confliction in her eyes. He saw Aleron chase after Farron like a puppy and shook his head with a chuckle, wondering if the traveler had any idea what he was getting into.

Alek shrugged a shoulder. "I'm no medic.... But it doesn't look much better. Granted it's only been a day. We can't judge just yet, but.... If it doesn't start getting better soon, we're going to have cause for concern." He was gentle as he rewrapped the bandage carefully.

--

Farron stopped her muttering as Aleron caught up with her. She glanced over at him and offered a quick nod, her hand still wrapped around Pyr's stone. It was literally glowing through the flesh of her hand.

"Ah, thank yeh, traveler, but whipping up a flame isn't too hard," she assured him.

"I'm uhh... not really used to travelling in groups." Asta informed Randon, that only being partial truth. True, she was uncomfortable travelling with anybody but Aleron, but Randon made her extra uncomfortable since he actually paid attention to her. Men never payed attention to her and women not much more than men.

-

"Please? My options aren't very pleasant otherwise. I could sit there with Mr. and Mrs. awkward or I could beat up your friend for flirting with my sister. Helping you is the best route." Aleron informed her with a nod.

Millicent nodded, letting out a slow breath as he rewrapped her leg. "I just hope to be able to walk around normally soon..." She mused, giving him a small smile and thanking the darkness for covering the red in her cheeks. Between him and Aleron she'd never had this much close male attention in her life. Only...she seemed to blush easier and more with Alek.

Randon nodded, "Aye me either, lass. Bunch I ran with...hell we'd throw eachotha unda a cart before lettin our own or our family's necks go on the line. I think this group will be fun...entertainin at least." He mused with a small grin and a shrug, "Now...why are ye still up there? Surely ye must be exhausted from ridin'..."

"So you're saying that you'd throw us under the bus...?" Asta asked with a frown, suddenly feeling like she wanted to run far far away from Randon. She had enough of that in her past thank you. When he asked her if she wanted to come down, she shook her head. "Not yet. I don't really get uncomfortable while riding horses." She informed her, not wanting to be on the ground near him at the moment.

Randon quirked an eyebrow, "Now why in the blazes would I do that, lass? Nah, these booked just helped me with my... business. I already trust the lost of ye more than them. Well, not the stiff guardsman guard dog but he'll be fun te mess with a bit over the day or so..." He mused with a small grin, giving a shrug.

Asta squirmed on top of Camulus's back, obviously feeling uncomfortable. "Well you just said... so I thought..." she trailed off. It would be very obvious to Randon by now just how socially awkward Asta was and just how much social interaction the girl had had. "Why do you like messing with people?" She asked him suddenly before her tan cheeks turned red, thankfully hidden under the cover of the night sky.
