"Hm and that seems t'be the case here," Farron mumbled as Randon flounced away to go talk to Asta. She raised her eyebrow but didn't say anything against it as she looked between the princess, her guard, and Aleron. "So...judging from your...not-so-royal attire... I'd say someone is off on her own?"

"It's really no business of yours, Lady Black," Alek intervened again. He at least tried to put some respect in there. It was better than the tone he'd used with Randon.

Farron wrinkled her nose. "Oh please don't use that again. Yeh'll burn my ears right off... but I guess yer right. No business of mine t'be crowding in. Just thought maybe we were goin' the same direction and could be of assistance. We uh... we saw some of yer friends," she said with a wave of her hand toward Alek. "Yer a guardsman, yes?" She glanced at Aleron, curiosity sparking in her eyes. What WAS this group out doing and what was the traveler and his sweet sister doing with them?

Randon scowled lightly, taking the apple back. "Fine then. Have it your way grumpy..." He mused, looking up to Asta then with a shrug, "Would really ratha not have me head detached from me body. Kinda like it where it is, ye know?" He shrugged, leaning against a tree nearby.

Aleron kept quiet as Farron spoke to Millicent and Alek about why everyone was out here instead of back in town. It wasn't any of his business and he wouldn't mind them accompanying them to Beyfield, but that wasn't his decision. It was guardsman's in the end. As Farron looked at him, he returned her look, his hazel green eyes having a serious quality to them as he tried to relay to her that it wasn't good. There wouldn't be many reasons why a princess would be leaving her own kingdom...

"Calling him names won't make him like you anymore than he already does." Asta informed Randon quietly as she patted Camulus's neck. "And I don't think bodies would look right without heads. They're supposed to stay together." She said, sounding quiet serious in her observation. "So... no, I can't imagine you wanting to have them separated. What did you do to have them so angry with you?" She asked him. Because he obviously did something very wrong and this was his fault. He was a man after all. There was no way that the Lady Blacksmith would be to blame for all of this.

Farron seemed to understand the look Aleron gave her as she settled her gaze back on the jumpy guardsman. He looked so serious... She absently wondered to herself if this young guardsman even knew what a smile was.

Alek, however, deferred his answer to Millicent. As much as he wanted to tell this woman and her annoying companion to go on their merry way, he knew it wasn't entirely his decision. It was Millicent's. She was the one in charge of who she trusted to help them...even if Alek firmly believe she only really needed him there.

"I don't mean yeh any harm, Lady," Farron said when Alek didn't answer. She saw the look passed between them. "If yer more comfortable with me and my petty criminal friend over there leaving, we're more than happy to leave yeh on yer way. We're just a bit lost is all at the moment. Maybe we can get directions?"

Millicent just looked at Farron with a sigh at Alek's words. "I'm quite capable for speaking for myself thank you." She told him curtly, politeness fading as the pain from standing on her bad leg increased. She was exhausted, light headed, dizzy, sore and she was starting to develop a headache. She looked back to Farron then, giving a light shrug, "Yeah you can say that. Rather leave as small a trail as possible. Besides, I was never really good with the attention royal status brought on. " she answered, her voice much calmer but by this point she'd managed to find solace sitting on a large boulder for the moment, just happy to relieve the weight from her leg. "You two don't seem like much trouble. We've just had a very long day and night. As for directions I can try... Where are you all lookin to head?" She asked with a small smile, running her hand through her hair.

"Ack, some black market scumbag got mad I retrieved an item for its rightful owner. We've.... never truly gotten along. As horrid luck would happen he got scooped up in a raid. Decided to take myself and Farron down with him." Randon shrugged, looking up at her. "What about you? Why are you headed away from the precious shores?"

Asta raised a blonde eyebrow at him slightly before looking back down at her horse. "Sounds like you're not too good at making friends." She replied before shrugging. "My brother has a big heart. He's always side tracking us to help one person or another. I don't really mind too much. Most of the time." She tacked on as she looked back over at Randon. WHY was he still talking to her?! "Where are you headed now?" She asked him curiously.

Randon shrugged idly, "Eh next county over. Beyfeild? Small little neutral zone." He mused, "By ye tone, lass, I'm guessin a few of his sidetracking missions didn't fare so well on ye patients??" He teased lightly, crossing his arms loosely on his chest.

Farron nodded and noticed the way the princess favored her left leg. The outfit she was sporting showed a bandage that had blood stains on the side... which mean it was still fairly fresh. Something recent must have happened. "We're off t'Beyfield. Looking to gather resources and then...decide from there where we should be off to."

Alek watched Millicent closely. She had been increasingly unpleasant...but then again, he expected this from her. He expected her to be unhappy for a while and being shot in the leg didn't help matters at all. His attention snapped over as he heard their destination. That wasn't coincidence. Alek didn't believe in coincidences. "Why Beyfield," he demanded.

Farron shrugged again, not bothered with Alek's overprotection. She knew he was just trying to be... himself. She guessed. Maybe. "Because it's th'nearest and biggest town between the border of here and there.... and it's got plenty of routes to the Seaside City of Vallonde... which is where ultimately we need to get to."

Asta blinked, suddenly looking more alert as he mentioned Beyfield. "You too?!" She squeaked out, wondering if their group was about to become larger. "And no... no sometimes it wasn't fun or didn't go well at all. Not everybody is as nice as he is..." she replied as she trailed off, not wanting to think about those bad memories.

Even Aleron was surprised to hear Beyfield as their destination. It seemed as if the small, neutral city was a common destination when on the run. Or maybe it was something more than coincidence. Anything was possible. And he firmly believed that everything happened for a reason.

"Where else would they be headed, Alek? Its the next closest county. They're not under Damon's rule..." Millicent mused, happy Farron wasn't fazed by Alek's tone. She knew she was going to hate her for this but...the sooner they ended this the sooner she could catch SOME sleep. Maybe then she'd feel better then... "We're headed that way ourselves actually. Alek knows the way by heart. Surely he wouldn't mind having two more along until the city limits." She added with a light shrug.

Randon blinked, before grinning lightly. "Well then looks like we might be seein' more of each other lass." He teased lightly before lowering his voice a bit. "Oye, so I no the lad's a guard but ye think the princess would pick someone...I dunno...livelier te run away with."
