Millicent was up with a light groan, always having been an early riser. She rubbed at her eyes with a yawn, cracking her back a little as she got up. Cavern floors weren't comfortable.... She looked to Alek's sleeping form with a small smile, glad he has gotten sleep after all. Careful not to stir him she stood, smiling as Kisha joined her as she walked to the waterfall pool.

She sat on one of the holders, bunching her skirt a bit as she let her feet dangle in the cool water. She pulled out the pendulum from her pocket, hesitant in the knowledge that Alek was so against the idea. She didn't see another option though. She couldn't constantly worry...

Remembering his instructions, she lifted the pendulum, "Aleron...." She said, wondering if it would even work. She put it back in her pocket, adjusting her belt a bit so it was more propper before watching the sun rise over the trees....

Aleron and Asta had found refuge from the storm underneath a rather large tree deep within the woods, having been guided by a rather helpful and sweet dryad. Dryad's were always so proud of their trees and willing to show them off.

As always, he was the first to awaken, rising around the same time that the sun did. Yawning, he stretched his arms, wincing as he heard several cracks. He looked over at where Asta was curled up with a rather friendly bear that had kept her warm all night despite her horse's protests. Mean bastard that one was.

Blinking several times, he tried to gather his thoughts for the day when he heard a whispered voice in his head. Frowning, he paused as he heard it again. That voice sounded familiar...

When it finally clicked, he fumbled about his cloak pockets before finally pulling out the matching pendulum to the one that he had given to the princess. He was honestly surprised to hear from her this early. Something must have gone terribly wrong last night and that worried him. Shaking his head to wake up more, he leaned over and gently shook Asta awake.

"Asta, Asta wake up." He murmured as she let out a rather adorable yawn and snuggled closer to the warm bear who seemed to have no problems snuggling with the little girl.

"Asta." He said a little more sharply and loudly. Asta jolted up at this and looked around.

"Wha? Whazzist?" She asked as she yawned, her blonde hair sticking up at odd angles as she rubbed at her eyes. He smiled as he stood up.

"Come on, we have somewhere we have to be and quick. It's time to go."

The sun was JUST starting to peek out from it's nesting place when Farron rode back into the Refuge. She hadn't intended being gone all night.... she absently wondered if Randon was even still in town or if he'd decided to leave her behind. She wouldn't be surprised... he was a family man, but number one was always himself.

It was still too early for the Refuge to be alive yet. It was a place of rowdiness and tavern brawls... no one would be awake until at least midday, which made it safe for her to plod through by herself.

She made her way to the tavern they were staying at, dropped Grey at the stables and went inside, wondering what she would find in the room Randon was staying in.

Farron would actually be surprised to find him on his way out. He caught sight of her an his lips formed into a frown. "Where the bloody hell have you been?!" He demanded, running an aggravated hand over his face and spoke again in a high-pitched tone, "Oh I won't be gone long! Just the entire bloody night to give you a damn heart attack!" He sighed, giving her a pointed look. Unbeknownst to her he'd made a promise to her family when he'd picked up the horses. Yeah she could easily fend for herself but they wanted to know someone would be looking out for her.

Farron looked surprised to see him completely awake and not wallowing in the sorrows that came with consuming copious amounts of ale. And a little disappointed really... "Well, happy morn to you too, sunshine." She lifted her lips into an amused smile. "That's cute, y'know, that voice your on about... it sounds just like me. Do you have a mimic box in that throat of yours I don't know about?" She waved her hand. "I got a bit caught up is all, no need for alarm. Plenty capable of handling myself.... here, have an apple," she said as she tossed one she'd nicked from an unguarded fruit stall just down the road. She bit into her own, reveling the sweetness of it. "So, what's the plan? Thought about it like I told yeh to?"

Randon just gave her a look, catching the apple and taking an agitated chunk out of it. She was going to drive him up a wall, turn him gray, or kill them both. He wasn’t sure which yet. “What exactly caught ye up!? And yes I have a plan ye ungrateful little thing. Out flouncing aroun’ while I was stuck he’e. Figure we’ll swing over to Beyfeild for a bit. It’ll be much quitter there and we can…restock, so to speak, before moving on further.” He told her simply, taking another large chunk out of his apple.

Millicent looked up as she heard Kisha growl. She’d been washing what remained of her makeup from her face in the cool water of the pool and fixing her hair a little while enjoying what little peace she had. She froze in her place, watching with big eyes as the large black wolf stood in front of her. Maybe this had been a bad idea…

"Oh....this and that," Farron said with a vague smile as she continued to eat her apple. "Delicious this. Beyfield? Mmm, I guess that's as good an idea as any. And then what? We just keep riding around the world together for the rest of eternity? Granted, I like yeh but not enough t'spend the rest of my life with yeh."

Randon gave her an amused pout, "An' here I thought we'd ride off into the sunset, lass..." He mused, taking another chunk out of the apple before leaning back against the wall. "We'll figure it out as we go. Who the bloody hell knows what we'll run inta out theya." He shrugged, but his mind was reeling a bit. He knew the king had probably put a bounty on their heads. Magic users and their cohorts very rarely, if ever, actually got away.

Aleron had Asta trekking through the forest with him for a couple of hours now. He had been leading his horse Baldr next to him with Asta riding lazily on top of her brute as he got directions from various creatures of the forest plus following his pendulum. The only down side of the pendulum is that it only gave him a general vicinity. It would warm up if he was on the right trail, not giving him a specific destination. So the creatures and spirits of the forest were a lot more help in some instances. Especially since Princess Millicent was so closely tied to this particular forest.

It was then that a particularly helpful naiad helped guide them to a secreted waterfall that Asta found quite pretty. His pendulum was quite warm in his hand so he knew they had to be really close.

"Ah, see, we might've, if you knew how to sweep me off my feet. Alas, I don't even think you could try at this point, little fox." Farron smiled as she reached over and patted Randon's cheek lightly. "But I guess that's all we have.... terrible overall plan, but we're fugitives now. Isn't that brill?" She sighed and finished her apple. "As for the journey, I'm ready whenever you are..."
