"Ah, a bit of luck wouldn't hurt any, but seems like everyone's running short that these days," Farron said as she called out to the children. Despite their rowdy behavior, they all filed in at her summons. She briefly explained what they were doing, not allowing them any room to argue or question. She placed a kiss on each of their heads and ushered them toward Aleron. "Anyone can point yeh to her shop if yeh get lost. It's called the Lily Leaf," she instructed as the two little girls, Silena and Bethany, looked more concerned than two year old Jareth, who was already toddling out the door. |

((Eugh,so full!!! xD)) "Well then, I wish you luck in your travels, and safety as well." Aleron told her with a smile before looking over as Farron called the children, he gave them a calm smile, looking to be calm and poised, like this was nothing out of the ordinary. He stored away the name of her sister's store, thinking that one of the girls could help if need be. He turned in time to see the toddler heading for the door and walked over and scooped him up, swinging him around playfully. "And where do you think you're going, little one?" He asked him with a grin as he poked his tummy. |

Millicent shook her head at his answer, still smiling as they approached the castle grounds. Her smile faltered a little, though, when she saw the Captain waiting. They weren't late... Then she saw the rest of the guard running around getting ready. Something was wrong... Furrowing her brows she approached, "Sire what in the realms is going on?!" She asked, and while her voice was soft it held a rare authoritative tone. |

((did you have a good meal!?)) "Outside!" The little boy squealed and giggled as Aleron plucked him up off the ground. He waved to Farron over Aleron's shoulder. "Nonnon, bye!" She smiled and waved goodbye to him as she continued to scurry around the forge. Fifteen minutes later, she was fully packed, her bag much heavier than she had anticipated it being. All the essentials were in there, plus as much as she could carry without it being overly excessive. She had changed into a fresh, clean pair of riding breeches, well-worn over the knee riding boots, and a black, loosing fitting shirt that was tucked into her breeches. Her trip to the edge of town was relatively uneventful, as she made sure to take back alleys to avoid any roaming guards. Randon had mentioned the southern edge and that was where she was, looking around for his stupid arse. -- Markus and Marek stood next to one another, both with the same serious express. "Lady Princess," Markus said as he stepped forward toward her. "Marek, please escort the princess into the castle." His sharp gaze didn't miss the blood drying on his younger son's neck. "Yes sir," Marek said, stepping forward with a pleasant smile. "Lady?" |

Millicent scowled a bit, "I'm not daft. I'm also not a child anymore. Sire I want an answer. Do not make me order you..." She told him, a rare sterness in her voice. "This is my kingdom and I will not be left out." She added, actually stepping half a step back from Marek. What did she hate more than anything? People acting like she was some delicate little flower. |

"There's been an accusation of sorcery in the lower quarters, lady," Marek offered as he glanced at Alek. "A blacksmith has been indicted as aiding and abetting a magic user," he said offhandedly as though this were a simple routine manhunt. "What smithy," Alek asked, walking forward as Markus grouped with the upper officers. "The Blacks," Marek answered casually. "The ones that did all our Guard armor?" Alek's stomach felt uneasy that right this second, after all that happened, there was a manhunt for magic users in the city. "Just the same," Marek replied as he turned his attention to the princess. "The King has requested you remain indoors for the rest of the day until your fete this eve," he said with a smile. "I'm to escort you." |

((It was so delicious! As much as I want to give that particular chef a compliment, I enjoyed it!)) Aleron just grinned at the little boy, chucking his cheek affectionately before leading the children to the store, having to only stop and ask for directions once. Once they were on the home stretch, he smiled over at Asta before walking up to the front door and knocking before entering. "Hello?" He asked, free hand not holding the toddler reaching into his pocket for the stone. |

A bell tinkled above Aleron's head as he opened the door to the tiny store, tucked in between a vintner and an artist. The smell of fresh cut flowers filled the air as the two dark haired girls walked inside, smiling up at Asta and Aleron as they passed by them. A tall woman entered from behind a curtain of beads that led into the rear of the shop. It was extremely obvious that this family, the Blacks, had outstandingly strong traits. She mirrored her sister with youthful skin and light eyes, but unlike Farron, her porcelain skin was pristine, not a mark of dirt and her hair was long, luxurious, and of course, ebony. "Girls?" The woman seemed surprised as the she bent down and hugged each girl. She stood, looking between Aleron, Asta, and Jareth, who was bobbing a bit on Aleron's hip. "Elly!" Jareth called, waving at the woman. She maintained her warm smile, but her eyes were sharp, wary. "May I help you," she asked them both as she gently nudged the girls into the back of the store. "Hello. Sorry to startle you like this, but I'm doing this as a favor for the Lady Blacksmith. She apparently has to leave suddenly and asked me and my sister here to drop the kids off at your place and hand you this." Aleron explained softly in his deep voice before he walked over and offered up the smooth stone, seeming to have no issues still holding on to the squirming toddler on his hip. "I know it's unsettling to see your children with a stranger, but I swear to you that no harm came to them under my care. Or this little one here." He jiggled Jareth's foot playfully. Meanwhile, Asta was standing right outside the door, refusing to come in when she realized that it was a flower store. Not with her allergies, thank you. |

Millicent felt her stomach drop at the news but she honestly didn't expect any differently. She felt her lips twitch into a brief scowl at the mention of the king's orders. Argument died on her lips though and she nodded, "I see..." Shemused, looking back to Alek with a small smile but there was panic in her eyes before continuing with Marek. Of course. Of course this had to happen. Bloody perfect. |
