Bryce chuckled softly as Betta came over, wrapping his arms around her. "Hmmm maybe but I'm pretty sure you're worth it..." he teased her, kissing her temple lightly. He was glad to see her adjusting easier than she had the last visit. Then again, a lot had happened their first trip back. This, even though they were worried about those back home, was much more relaxed than other one. Lily came back out, her simplistic dress in her hands as Linnea started wrapping up their purchases in parcels similar to the ones the girls' gowns came in. "Oh I love my dress, Brcye....thank you soooo much!" She giggled, doing another small spin as Bryce chuckled with a small shrug. "You look beautiful, Sassi...." he assured her, a small grin on his face as she blushed lightly. Kai leaned back and looked up at Kyler with a face, "He started it...." she told him before laughing and looking between the boys. "If one of you two want to make the meatballs I'll do tha sauce and such...." she offered, smiling to see Sare looking so much better. Iggy chuckled and looked down at his girl, "Well....if Kyler doesn't mind I know you wanted to sit outside for a little bit..." he told Sare with a small smile, tucking her hair back behind her ears. Nina didnt look at him at first, just listening to him with a small nod every now and then. Finally, she looked up at him "When you're here I dont have them...." she told him honestly and it was true. These nightmares were a dime a dozen before she started sharing a bed with him, that much she'd already admitted to him. She'd never had one with him there though. There was just something about knowing he was there that just helped her so much..."Kai was trying to work on something to keep them away but nothing has really worked so far...." |

Betta smiled, laughing quietly as he teased her. "You definitely make me feel so." She told him as she kissed his cheek again. She looked over as Lily came out, smiling more as the little girl thanked Bryce. Her man was so very sweet. She loved his caring heart. She leaned into him as Linnea wrapped up their purchases, looking over to see Adelle finally coming back out dressed in her original dress with the other clothes in her arms. She walked over and placed them down for Linnea to wrap as she looked up. "Thank you, Bryce." She told him with a faint blush, a shy smile on her face. Kyler chuckled as he kissed the top of her head. "Doesn't matter who started it, I'm going to finish it." He told her with a dimpled smile as he looked over to Iggy and shrugged. "Yea sure, I got it. Not a problem. You guys can head out. He said with a smile as Sare gave him a greatful look. "Okay. Thank you." She told Kyler with a smile as he smiled back. She looked over at her fiance as she smiled at him. "You really don't mind going outside with me?" She asked him as she kissed his cheek sweetly. Devin nodded as he brushed his fingers over her cheek. "Well, we'll keep Kai working on it so maybe you won't have them anymore. Until then, I'll be here every night with you to make sure you get some sleep. I'm not going to leave you." He promised her as he kissed her temple. To know that just him being there got rid of her nightmares made him feel like he could do something to help. That he was helping, and he would do anything he could to help her. |

((Why the last week of summer does my body decide "hey...i haven't been sick for a while...." -.-'')) Bryce chuckled softly, "Not a problem sassi...." he assured her, waving her thanks away before turning to Linnea and hashing out a price in his native tongue. There was a lot of waving him away and shaking of Linnea's head until he finally just pressed what looked to be about 8 gold coins into her hand. The older woman rolled her eyes, "Bryce..." she went to argue but he shook his head as he collected up the clothing. "Don't you argue with me Lin. If my mother found out I didn't she'd hand me my head..." He told her simply, which was true. Aside from Kora, Linnea was one of his mother's oldest friends. He gave her a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek as she rolled her eyes again but finally put the money in the lock box behind the counter. Lily giggled, looking up as a young man entered the shop, around fourteen with his mother's dark auburn hair kept short against his head. She stomped on the floor and the boy paused looking up at the group with a small smile as Lily quickly ran up to give him a hug. Linnea smiled a little, "This is my son Nathan...." she told them, but when she spoke to her son her hands started moving as well. It was incredibly similar to American Sign Language save for a few things. "Nate, you remember Lily and Bryce...these are their friends Betta and Adelle." She paused, but continued to sign as well as Nate looked over with a smile and a small wave. "Nate lost his hearing when he was a baby due to a fever..." she explained, laughing as her son rolled his eyes. 'Mom! Really? Just tell them I'm deaf....don't go into the whole thing...' Nate signed with a sigh, shaking his head but looked down at Lily as she stepped back a little. 'That dress is very pretty....' This time his signs were slow, knowing the young girl had been trying to learn them. He was homeschooled because of his deafness, helping out at Gwayne's when he could. Lilith wasn't the only one Jeremiah was protective of either. Lilith looked to Linnea for help before giggling and looking back to the boy, slowing signing back a 'thank you', his bright grin and nod letting her know she did it right. Iggy nodded, "Whatever you want to do is fine by me...." he told her with a small smile before helping her up, giving the other couple a thankful nod before leading his girl out the back door so they'd face the woods. Nina nodded up at Devin, giving him a ghost of a smile before leaning up and kissing his cheek lightly as a silent thank you, blushing slightly as she realized Ian was in the room. "So...there's someone I want you to meet while we're in Lumicera...." she told him softly, "Aside from Gwayne of course..." she added, thinking her uncle was going to have a feild day with her boy. Simply because he was the only one she brought around. |

((Aww! I'm sorry! That really sucks >.< I hope you get better super soon! Nobody deserves that the last week of summer! )) Betta and Adelle stood there quietly as they let Bryce haggle out the price with Linnea, both of them zoning off into their own thoughts. Both looked over as they heard the door to the shop to find a young boy just hitting his teenage years there. Both of them smiled kindly, looking over as Lily tackled the boy, obivously knowing him. When Linnea explained it was her son, both nodded, easily seeing the resemblance then. Adelle waved, both laughing as the boy got onto his mother as was evident by the attitude that he signed with. Obviously, not being able to hear didn't effect his teenage attitude. Betta waved hello to him, also signing a quick hello. She knew the very basics of signing, not knowing much more than that. Just how to say hello, goodbye, thank you and her name. It wasn't very much, but it was the thought that count, right? Sare smiled at Iggy as she stood up with his help and followed him to the back door so they were facing the forest. She sighed as they made it outside, the snowing and the cold obviously not bothering her despite the fact that she was wearing jeans a thin shirt. It was off the shoulder and long-sleeves, but the sleeves were cut up and it was very loose. Turning around, she looped her arms around Iggy's neck as she smiled at him. "Will you dance with me?" She asked him, batting her baby blue eyes. Devin's smile widened as she gave him a smile, no matter how small, and the kiss of thanks on his cheek. He knew it was going to take time for her to feel better, and he was willing to wait and be there for her while she worked on getting there. "Oh, do you? Whose that?" He asked her curiously as he brushed his fingers across her cheek. He admitted, he was already excited to meet her uncle, especially eat at his restaurant. And maybe learn a thing or two about cooking food in Lumicera. There stuff was much different from the food here. |

((Haha thanks....I'm hoping it passes soon. I havent been sick in so long....just sucks it happens to be the week Im trying to balance everything I need to do hah)) Nate caught Betta's sign and gave her a small smile, obviously appreciative of the effort. Bryce chuckled, tucking the clothes under his arm as he signed a little awkwardly, "What have you been up to?" He asked, rolling his eyes as the boy signed back with a small smirk. "Yes I know I look ridiculous....no need to poke fun. How about some help smartass...?" He mused, chuckling as Nate walked over with a smirk still on his lips as he took the rest of the packages off of the counter and followed Bryce out to the carriage waiting outside. Linnea chuckled with a shake of her head as she watched the boys. All of the princes knew signing thanks to Karmen's insistence. Kai and Nina as well, Iggy and Shang knew the basics but they'd never had a knack for picking up languages. She looked to the girls with a playful sigh, stepping out from behind the counter. "I suppose thats your cue to get going...it really was wonderful to meet you girls. Please don't hesitate to stop by if you find yourself wandering through town." She told them, giving each girl a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek before walking over to the door. She knew she would be seeing much more of Betta in the coming year. Iggy chuckled as she stopped him, the cold not effecting him either as they stood out in the snow. "Gee....this feels a little familiar, no?" He teased her lightly, but at the same time started to sway them a little. He remembered feeling ridiculous at first when they danced on the roof back at school, but seeing that smile quickly calmed his nerves. It was, in fact, rather ridiculous how sudden he realized what she meant to him...and of course right when she was claimed by another. None of that mattered now, though, since it was his ring around her finger and he knew he'd do anything still to keep her smiling. Nina gave him a small smile, "Do you remember the seamstress who came up to fit you for your suit for the final night of solstice? Linnea?" She asked him in the same soft voice, knowing she'd made quite an impact with the boys with her blunt ways. "Well, she has a son, fourteen same as Jeremiah, named Nate. He's a really sweet kid, additude all the way even though he's deaf. He lost his hearing when he was really young because of a fever. He helps out at my Uncle's and sometimes at the bakery with me and my folks to keep busy while his mom tends to.the shop. After all...what fourteen year old boy wants to be stuck in a dress shoppe all day?...." |

Betta laughed as she watched Bryce and Nate, shaking her head with a smile. Boys would be boys. She moved to the side to allow Nate to help Bryce carry the packages to the carriage before turning and smiling as Linnea swept them her and a surprised Adelle up into a quick hug. "It was wonderful to meet you as well! Thank you so much for your help, signora." Betta told her kissing both of her cheeks in response. "Yes, thank you. You help has been so appreciated." Adelle said quietly with a sweet smile as she hugged her back before pulling away and looking to Betta who held out her arm for the girl. Adelle smiled as she took her arm before looking over at Lily and holding out her hand for the little girl. "I guess we should get going. Thank you again!" She told Linnea with a smile as they walked to the door then outside towards the carriage. Sare laughed as she just smiled at him, happy he began to sway them anyways. "But it's a nice familiar. I like it when we dance. I can imagine no better partner." She told him as she leaned up to give him a sweet kiss. That should have been the first hint to her. How much she had loved dancing with Iggy, and how well they fit together. How he was willing to dance for her. Dark was okay with it, but there hadn't been the same... connection when they danced the way she danced with Iggy. Devin nodded as he gave her a small smile. "Yea I remember her, how could I forget?" He joked lightly. She was just as blunt and bossy as Kai. Hard to forget women like her. When she went on about the woman's kid, Nate, he nodded again with another smile. "Well I would love to meet him. He sounds like an amazing kid. Looks like you're going to be having to teach me yet another language. Think you can do that? I'm a terrible pupil, but with you as a teacher I might learn a thing or two." He winked playfully at her. |

Lily smiled as she took Adelle's hand and led her back out onto the sidewalk where the boys were finishing up packing the carriage. Bryce was signing to the boy about something when the girls walked up, Nate blushing slightly but gave them a small smile. He gave Lily a quick hug before walking back inside, Bryce chuckling as he helped them back in before climbing in himself. "Well Jeremiah is already at Kai's so you'll get to meet that little ball of sunshine soon enough...." he mused as the driver started off back to the house as Lily giggled, knowing how her brother ciuld be. Nate had blushed because he was asking Bryce's advice about a girl that lived a few blocks over. The young boy would never admit it but he really did look up to the prince considering he'd practically been raised in the castle with his mom always there with Karmen. Iggy chuckled a bit, holding her kiss there for a few moments longer before finally pulling back. "I do believe I approve of your reasoning...." he told her with a small grin, happy to.hear her laughing again. Nina gave him a small smile, "I'll show you the basics before we meet him..." she told him softly, finally relaxing in his arms. Her stomach was starting to settle and her headache was subsiding. She just needed a change of subject for a while apparently. "It's easier to learn because its similar to your language than mine..." she told him with a silent giggle, remembering what it was like trying to teach him even the basics of her home language. |

Betta and Adelle smiled at Nate, giving him a wave goodbye before he headed into the store. Adelle quietly slipped into the carriage in her spot she was in before with Bryce's help, Betta following her. As soong as Bryce was in, Betta kissed his cheek before leaning against him. "It should be fun then, no?" Betta asked playfully as she winked over at Lily. "We will be very nice to him. Extra nice. You can't be a little raincloud then!" She said with a nod, not minding that Lily's older brother was a bit of a grump from what she had heard. Sare smiled, laughing as she rested her head on his chest as they swayed together. "I thought you might like it. Guess what? Tomorrow's my birthday." She said with a sigh. It sucked that all of this was going on during her birthday. "I'll technically no longer be a teenager. All grown up." She joked lightly. Devin chuckled as he kissed the top of her head. "So I have some hope in learning afterall?!" He demanded playfully. "I mean... becuase I might need a lot more teaching when it comes to your language. I think I remember how to say hello." He teased. |

Not long after the group arrived back at Kai's house, a young man sitting on the front porch as they approached. Lily waved to her brother and, with the drivers help, hopped down from the carriage, doing a little spin. "Isn't it pretty Jer? Bryce got it for me...he's gonna take all of us to dinner tonight!" She told him, frowning as he came into the light more. His cheek was slowly healing, as was a swollen lip. His markings were much more developed than his sister's, encasing his shoulder and the upper half of his right arm as showcased by his soft brown leather vest. Bryce frowned as well as he climbed out, helping the girls out as the driver took their packages inside. "Jeremiah...." he sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. The young man just shot him a look, obviously not in the mood to talk about where the injuries came from. "This is Adelle and Betta..." Bryce said instead, thanking the man quickly as he emerged from the house. Jeremiah gave the girls a half smile briefly, but in that small moment one could see Iggy shining through the boy's personality. "Hey." He said simply, looking down at his sister with a roll of his eyes as she tugged on the strap of his bag. "I'll explain later...." he mumbled, knowing Bryce would probably have his head for getting into yet another fight at school and he didnt feel like being a spectacle for the two new women. He relaxed a little as he rested his hand on her shoulder though. "You do look very pretty though..." he told his sister, who gave him a small smile but was obviously still concerned. Iggy chuckled, "No....I had no idea...." he teased her lightly, kissing the side of her head. He laughed harder as she explained she'd no longer be a teenager. "Awwww.....you gonna miss it?" He teased, losing that title a while ago given he was turning 25 in 6 months. Nina giggled silently, "I hope so...." she said simply, kissing his cheek lightly. "There's always hope, wolf boy, you just have to work for it...." she teased him, voice getting ever so slightly stronger. She paused then, taking his pendant from around her neck and slipping ot back onto his with a small smile. "Much better....." |

((My internet is being fucking stupid! I'm so angryyy!)) Adelle and Betta looked over curiously at the young man that was Lily's older brother. Allowing Bryce to help them down, they both smiled in hellow as Betta waved to him. The swollen cheek and lip. As he smiled at them it was very obvious to the girls of his relation to Iggy. "It's very nice to meet you Jeremiah." Adelle told him shyly before her and Betta headed into the house. Sare smiled up at Iggy, laughing quietly as she shook her head. "Not really. I had fun, but now it's time to step up into a new part of my life. The part that I get to share with you. I think it definitely makes it worth it." She told him with a smile as she leaned up to give him a kiss, still swaying with him in the snow. Devin chuckled as he held still so she could slip the necklace onto his neck. "Definitely much better. It's right where it belongs." He told her with a smile. He stole a kiss from her before pulling back. "Gotta let everyone know I belong to the most beautiful girl you know." He winked playfully at her. ((And my laptop just died..... fucking great...)) |
