Lily blinked as Betta pulled back before nodding slowly, a smile slowly appearing. "It seems fun! And what you did was so weird....but cold too. Can you do anything else? And what does that mean? Piccolo?" She rattled off, messing up a bit as she got more excited.

"What she did was "cool" lilypad, not "cold"..." Bryce corrected her gently, gaining a confused look.

"Oh...well then it was cool!" She corrected herself with a giggle, rubbing the back of her neck.

Nina smiled with a small nod as he explained it, "It does sound like a lot of fun..." she agreed, resting her head against his shoulder as she played idly with the temporary chord holding his pendant around his neck. "I think the first thing we need to do is get a new chord when we go back..." she told him, teasing him lightly. Honestly it didn't bother her all that much he'd snapped the other chord. She knew where to get a stronger one anyway.

Kai laughed, "I call absolute bullshit, pretty boy....you can't not be nice to me. You looopve me and you know it!!" She teased him, making a face right back at him. "And you may outrank Kyler but you don't have THAT kind of control...." she added with a small shrug. She knew her boy was more than slightlg whipped but she thought it was sweet. Pretty much all of the guys were. She loved knowing he'd always be there for her, to male sure she was happy. Even if it meant going out at midnight for ice cream because she had a craving.

Betta chuckled, not able to help herself as the little girl rambled on excitedly. "I can do a couple of other things. Like... I'll always know what you're feeling or thinking. And I can lift stuff without touching that. But only small things. I'm not so good at that." She admitted. She remembered the one time she was trying to show her powers off to Bryce, and she did the wrong thing when she hopped into the lake. She hadn't meant to scare him. She sure learned her lesson.

Devin smiled as she rested against him and played with the temporary pendant chord. "I think that sounds like a really good idea." He agreed, feeling just horrible for breaking the first chord. He hadn't thought of it, it wasn't anywhere near his mind when had saw that wollf attacking them. Kissing the top of her head sweetly, he sat there and held her, not really wanting to let her go, even to go hunt. "What's one thing you want to do when you get back to your home? One thing you can do without overworking yourself." He corrected himself with a smile.

Ian scowled before nodding. "Do too! Just wait! Next time you guys are around, I'll forbid him to do anything nice for you" He said with a 'serious' nod. He tried not to laugh as he just sent her another face. She'd know that he would never actually do that. She was right, he loved her too much.

Lily nodded her head, "Still that's really cool! Does everyone where you're from have some kind of power?" She asked the other girl with a rather adorable smile. While her world fascinated the wolves, their world was odd and fantastical to the young girl. "Not everyone here can bend. My dad cannot bend...one of my friends cant neither." She told them with another nod. No one knew why certain people, squibs, couldn't bend but it did happen even in familes of all benders.

Nina thought about it, "If I don't see my parents I may not come back..." she mused with a shake of her head, "Just have to make sure Jace and Lance go after you first..." she added with a small laugh, knowing the twins would try to tackle them as soon as they walked through the door. "I cannot believe they are turning 7 this year....I feel old..."

"Fine you wanna play that way? You said yourself Adelle loves me more..." She teased him, making a face right back. "AND i'll make sure and soon as your little one is old enough to get him the coolest scooter ever! Or maybe a trampoline..." she added with a wicked grin, knowing the threat could come.back to bite her but she didn't get mad, she got even.

Betta chuckled as she shook her head. "No, I'm actually a lot rarer than you would think. There's billions of people on our world. And most of them are human and don't have any sort of powers." She told the girl. "Most of the time, people that do have powers have to hide in secret. The town that I live in now is one of the very rare exceptions."

Devin chuckled as he kissed the top of her head. "Don't worry, baby. I'll save you from your brothers." He winked playfully at her. "Crazy to see kids grow up so fast, huh?" He asked her with a smile. "That's how I feel about Erik, he's the same age as your brothers, and he sort of feels like a little brother to me. I mean, it feels like just yesterday he was learning how to walk and talk." He chuckled.

Ian gaped at her as he clutched at his chest. "You wouldn't! Take that back!" He declared as he tried so very hard not to laugh, but a grin twitched on his lips. "If you do that, I'll make sure Fiona comes home with not only one big stuffed wolf, but two! And the second one will look just like her uncle Ian." He said with a nod.

Lily listened curiously, “So…I don’t have to hide mine…right?” She asked, looking to Bryce for the answer.

“No, sassi…you’ll be fine. Everyone where you’re going to live will know what you are…” He told her, “Only time is when you have to hide it is when you go to the bigger town which has mostly normal people. For example, they may think a young girl like you having tattoos is odd…” He explained, to which she made an adorable face.

“But they’re not tattoos…they’re markings! They came with me!” She told him, “Most of the kids have them….” She added with a nod as he chuckled, making a face at him. She didn’t much like the idea of hiding her markings. They were a part of who she was.

Nina smiled with a small nod, “I know how you feel….I feel like last week I was helping my dad out while my mom was on bed rest, now the little terrors are going to school and all…” She mused, shaking her head a little. The boys were absolute troublemakers, but they loved when Devin had come to visit one night for dinner. She’d felt kind of bad for him, given they gave him quite the run for his money, but they were sweet kids when they wanted to be. Or wanted something.

“I would so just watch me! Fine, I see a nice, big, loud drum set in your future! Complete with symbols!” She teased, seeing the grin twitching on his lips. “Smiiiile Ian….you know you want tooo…” She prompted, trying not to crack up herself. She knew Ian was like Betta’s big brother but to be perfectly honest she preferred hanging with him without her. She found him highly amusing, and she found it funny the way him and Kyler acted together.

Adelle and Betta smiled as Bryce assured the little girl that she would be fine at the small shifter owned town they lived in.

"Your markings are very pretty, but where we come from, people aren't born with markings. The only way they can get them is if they tattoo them onto their skin." Adelle explained patiently with a smile. "And even then people don't like it when other people do, and you have to be a certain age to get them. For a child your age to have them where we come from is considered bad parenting and people would get very upset." She told her. "We all know that isn't true, but humans in our world have some strange ideas."

"It's crazy, but it's good to see them grow up and be so healthy and happy, you know?" Devin asked with a smile as he kissed her cheek. "Do you think your parents would let them come over here for a vacation sometime? You know, for a week or so when they don't have school?" He asked. He liked her brothers. They were troublemakers to extreme, but they were good kids deep down. They just loved to have fun.

Ian couldn't help it, and finally cracked up laughing. "If you get my baby a drum set, I'm going to make sure to give yours a singing Handy Manny toolset. I had to watch that show once while babysitting Erik when he was younger." He shuddered at the thought. "It was horrible." He said as he grinned at her finally. He very much enjoyed hanging around Kyler's plain-speaking mate. She was a lot of fun, and she was pretty to look at. He liked pretty things to look at.

Lily listened but she still wasn't overly thrilled with the idea, but she guessed she understood. At least a little. “But I only have to cover them up when I'm in the big town, right?” She asked them, giving a small smile as Bryce nodded. “Then I guess its not too bad...only cause they can be a pain to cover sometimes...” She said with a small shrug, giggling as Brody pushed against her hand because she stopped petting him for a moment. Her design trailed from her shoulder blade up over her shoulder to her collarbone and then up to the nape of her neck. It was a very thin and delicate design but it was her only marking so far and she was very proud of it.

Nina thought it over before giving him a small nod, “Especially with Jer and Lily coming to stay with Iggy over here I think my folks will be very happy to get rid of them for a week...” She said with a soft laugh. Goddess....a week with her twin brothers causing chaos...it would definitely be interesting. “So, is there anything you wanted to do aside from looking for a house? Anything you wanted to try?” She asked him, knowing he'd been disappointed when he didn't have time to eat at her uncle's bar in town. Best ribs ever in her books.

Kai just shook her head with a laugh, “Yes but that you can take the batteries out or turn it off! A drum set, you cannot...” She told him with a grin, “I win!” She teased, not having any idea of the show. Mainly if her and Kyler put the TV on it was for a movie. She supposed she would have to get used to kid shows...now that was a weird thought.

Adelle smiled at her as she watched the baby jaguar demand attention from the young girl. "We would never ask you to cover them up in our home town. I think they look very pretty on you." She told the little girl with a smile as Betta nodded in agreement. She absolutely loved Bryce's markings. Like Sare, she loved just sitting there in bed and tracing her man's markings in the mornings.

Devin smiled, chuckling as he kissed her cheek. "You see, I think it would be fun. Things would be so much more interesting with them here." He told her before thinking on her question. "Well besides your uncles bar, I don't think so. There's not a lot I know about your place." He admitted. "Just.. no more cliff diving?" He asked with an adorable smile. He had absolutely freaked and panicked that time she just dove off the waterfall and into the water below.

"Meh! You already have an automatic drumset! It's called pots and pans! So ha!" Ian said with a laugh. "Oh we're going to be in over our heads, aren't we?" He asked with a smile. "It will be worth it though, totally worth it."

Lily nodded with a small smile as she returned to petting the cub. "Good." She said with another nod. Bryce chuckled and shook his head a little. The young girl always loved learning about new things. Her brother was much quieter though. She looked to Adelle, "Have you been here before?" She asked, looking to Betta. "I know you have because they talked about a new girl in the castle...." she added with a nod and a small smile.

Nina giggled, loving his smile, "Wimp...." She teased him lightly, "But I cant yet." She reminded him with a small shrug. "But Uncle Gwayne is gonna love you! And his food is amazing..." she told him with a nod and a small grin.

Kai laughed, "Oh we are so going to be over our heads....but I think that's part of the fun, no?" She asked him with a small grin. She was scared shitless, especially because it wad suddenly hitting her her mother wasn't going to be there. Kora would, and Celeste and the others wouldnhelp but it wasnt quite the same.

Adelle smiled as she shook her head. "No I haven't. This is the first time I've ever been here. I'm very nervous but excited. Do you think you could show me all of the cool stuff?" She asked the little girl. "I would love to have a guide." She told her with another smile.

Devin chuckled, grinning back at her from her grin, not able to help himself. He loved seeing her grin on her face so much. "Well then I can't wait to meet him and try his food! You know how I am about food." He teased lightly. If it was as good as she said, he would probably bug the man on trying to teach it to him. He loved making food, and especially loved cooking food for his girl.

Ian chuckled as he grinned back to her. "I heard that is part of the appeal." He agreed with her. He was nervous, he'd admit that, but he knew it would be okay. They'd figure it out. And he was sure Kai and Kyler would be amazing parents themselves. "ALright, so what do you want to talk about next? We still have an hour to go before they come back and we get to switch places." He told her as he stretched.

((It's so hot I almost don't want to go on my walk today >.< ))
