((I can do that!!)) Betta was sitting in a rather comfortable chair in one of the room's at Kai's home back in Lumicera. Her chin was resting on her hand as she watched Adelle watch everything out of the window. The falcon hadn't spoken very much since they came here, and she knew it was because she was worried about her husband. She had tried a couple of times to get her to talk, but she'd only smile, say a couple of words then go back to watching out of the window. The only times when she wasn't at the window was when she was eating, sleeping, or getting clean. Every waking moment was spent at a window watching and waiting. Betta didn't know if she should be concerned or not. Sare was with the twins down at the nursery for the moment. Slipping Finn in with Seth and Diana had been no problem. Diana had taken to Finn's flirting and compliments like a fly to honey. That only left the most stressful and anxious part of the plan. Waiting. All of this waiting was going to drive her crazy. It was all she could think about. All of these what ifs in her head, and all of the differen't outcomes of this plan. It made it a little hard to sleep at night with her mind working so much. Holding her niece in her arms, she had to adjust when the baby suddenly shifted into a wolf pup, Elysia's greyish brown fur looking just like her fathers. Sare was the only woman besides her mother that was allowed to hold her. Even then, she didn't let her mother hold her often. She was definitely a daddy's little girl. And she had the violent attitude to prove it. They had to eventually get separate cribs for the twins because the parents would wake up to find the two fighting each other in the middle of the night. Of course, while Elysia was a daddy's girl, Jason was a total momma's boy. And he just loved women period. It was going to be interesting to see these two grow up. At that point, Elysia began to cry and whine in her arms as she frowned. "Aww, baby, it's okay." She soothed as she stroked her hand over the puppy's fur to quiet the baby girl down. Once she finally calmed down, the puppy shifted to the baby girl once more, and Sare had to once again shift her hold on her. With all the shifting that her and her brother did, they were both going to be some powerful wolves when they grew up. Looking up, she smiled over at Iggy who hardly left her side for anything, if at all, during this whole fiasco. Devin was sitting in one of the chairs, Nina in his lap as he held her up in their room in the Alpha's mansion. He was happy to see his girl improving and getting better. To see her walk a little, taking a couple of steps. She was eating more, and it just made him feel better. He had already talked to Celene, and she had given him permission to go with Nina when she left. She hadn't even hesitated to give him permission, and that made him feel much better. He didn't want to be away from her at all, wanting to be there every step of the way as she healed. She needed him, and he took his job of caring for her very seriously. Kyler was with Kai in Devin and Nina's room in the mansion, knowing how Kai felt about separating. And with the plan in motion, he didn't blame her. Things were very tense at the moment. He would constantly be called up to the conference chamber, mostly having to take Kai with him, but sometimes he was asked to leave her behind. That didnt' stop him from telling her after those meetings though. He made sure that she knew everything he did. All they had to do now was wait. They had to wait for Finn to give them any sort of news about what could possible happen next. He was just relieved that nothing had happened yet. Just like Kai, he wanted Nina out of here safely first. |

Bryce came in through the back door, a few bundles in his hands to signify food and a few pieces of wood for the stove. He placed them down on the stone counter before walking into the other room with the girls. He planted a gentle kiss to the top of Betta's head with a gentle smile before shedding his coat. He was dressed in loose linen pants, boots and a simple dark grey shirt. He was definetly home. He looked over at Adelle, obviously concerned before putting a smile on his face. "Hey sorry I took so long...Kora insisted on me bringing home fresh bread and pastries which emant I had to wait..." he mused, shaking his head a little as he walked over to Adelle and placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "So how are two of my favorite girls doing?" he asked her with a smile, knowing he had a rather long road ahead of him until Nina and Kai got here. He knew it was hard for Adelle, not knowing what was going on back home with her husband, so he tried his hardest to make her feel at home. Iggy was sitting on the floor with Jason as the baby boy squirmed on his back. He had no problem being on kid duty with his fiance, nor making a fool out of himself to elisite a laugh from the kids. He looked up to catch her smile with a small chuckle, "They're energetic little buggers, I'll give them than..." He teased her lightly, looking back down to the baby boy squirming on the floor. As much as he loved his niece and nephew he found that he suddenly couldn't wait until he had one of his own with Seraphina...Kids were never a part of his plan until her but he wasn't complaining. Nina was happily curled up in Devin's lap, even happier that Celene had given him permission to come over home with her. She had felt guilty at first, about taking him away from his pack, but soon enough the guilt had passed. As much as she wanted to deny it she needed him now more than ever. She was dreading the conversation to come with her mother and father but she knew she had to. It wasn't the kind of secret she could keep from them. Of course, it meant admitting the whole "deflowering" thing....that's what scared her. Her father wasn't an overly big guy but he was a powerful bender and very protective of his baby girl after what happened. She kissed Devin's cheek sweetly, looking over to Kai and Kyler with a small smile before going back to playing idly with his hands. She knew she had to eat soon, and the thought was starting not to repulse her anymore since she was able to hold it down. Kai was grateful Kyler had kept her in the loop with everything, even though her morning sickness caused them to be late once or twice to a meeting. Everything was set into motion but she still wasn't completely certain Nina was ready for the longer trip yet. She seemed alright physically, but mentally she would take much longer to heal. Erik had come by a few times and it was those few times she saw her friend really smile, doing anything to keep the young boy smiling and comforted. Nina was just that selfless of a person. No matter the pain or upset she was she pushed everything aside to make someone else smile. She looked to Kyler with a small smile, grateful he understood why she didn't want to seperate overly much. She reached over and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "So, what do you guys want to grab for lunch?" She asked them all simply, knowing to grab something simple for Nina. |

Betta perked up as she heard Bryce come in, looking up and smiling at her man as he placed a kiss on the top of her head. Coming here and seeing the way he dressed and the way things were here was always such a culture shock to her. She saw the concerned look that he gave Adelle, knowing that she felt the same way about it. She truly wished there was something they could do to cheer her up. The only thing that would make her feel better though, she knew was to see Ian walking up to the house. "Fresh pastries? Then I am not complaining." Betta told him with a smile as she watched him walk up to Adelle. Adelle moved her eyes from the window as she looked over at Bryce with a smile. This world was so beautiful. And she would love to be able to shift and fly and explore. But she couldn't shift again until she was no longer pregnant. That's part of what killed her at the moment. If she could fly, it would help with the waiting for her husband, she was stuck in her human form. "I'm doing good. How are those pastries?" She asked him curiously, greatful for everything everyone had done for her. Bryce was so kind to her, doing his best to make her feel welcome, and at least she had Betta who was familiar to keep her companty. And Kai opening her house for them. She didn't know ever she could ever let them know how much she appreciated this. Sare laughed as Elysia squirmed in her arms at the sound of Iggy's voice. Standing up, she walked over til she was sitting on the floor with Iggy. She was glad that he didn't mind being on kid duty with her. She loved looking over her niece and nephew, and during these times, it was one of the few things that kept her happy and calm. "I think Lys here has a crush on you. Everytime you open your mouth, I get a toothy grin from her and she tries to make her way over to you." She said as she let the baby down so she could crawl over to Iggy. The twins were now about 7 months old, and already had most of their teeth, and were close to walking. Iggy was right, they were extremely energetic and were a perfect mix of their parents. Jason had Celene's black hair, but his fathers golden eyes. Elysia had her fathers golden brown hair with her mothers midnight blue eyes and pale skin. And both of them had Celene and Haven's attitude, and quick to anger, violent personalities. Jason wasn't as violent as his sister though, and he liked to cry to get his mother's attention. He knew exactly what he was doing though. They were extremely intelligent babies. It sort of spooked Sare sometimes, but she couldn't love them less because of it. One thing watching over the twins did make her think of was having her own children with Iggy. She could admit that she was excited at the thought. She couldn't wait until that step in their lives. Devin smiled as NIna kissed his cheek, watching her with love in his eyes. He wondered if she had any idea of how much she meant to him. How much he wanted to see his own ring on her finger and to able to be the next one to call her his wife. Kyler had been right when he had said that it didn't take wolves long to decide what they wanted. Leaning down, he stole a kiss from her just because he could. "I love you." he told her as he stole another kiss. "How are you feeling today?" He asked her. Kyler smiled as Kai squeezed his hand, thinking about her question she just asked. "What I really want you might slap me for." He said, thinking of a nice, big buck for lunch would be nice. But he knew that wouldn't go over well for her. So he didn't bring it up. "But I will settle for a ham or turkey sandwich. Maybe both." He mused as Devin rolled his eyes. "We had sandwiches yesterday." He complained. "You don't talk." He told his cousin as he pointed his finger at him. "Tell you what, why don't I make lunch for us today? This whole eating fast food and simple stuff is driving me crazy." He said as he kissed Nina's cheek. "What would you ladies like for lunch?" He asked Nina and Kai. He knew Nina would only eat something simple, but he figured he might as well ask her what simple thing she wanted for lunch. Give her some kind of an option. |

Bryce nodded with a small smile, “Well how about you two come see for yourselves. Figure we can have some dessert before lunch…” he mused before moving back into the kitchen. He pulled a smaller parcel out onto the counter and carefully unwrapped it. Within were a bunch of different pastries since Kora didn’t know what kind of treats Adelle or Betta liked yet. Some had berries, some had fruit, some had a type of sweet custard, some had chocolate and some were just simple crescent cookies. He shook his head with a chuckle as he realized just how much Nina’s mother had spoiled them. She was too much sometimes… “Well you all definitely have a selection…and I was thinking of going into town for dinner tonight, what do you two say?” He asked the girls with a small grin. He wanted to get Adelle out of the house for a little bit, just for her to be able to see a bit of everything. Which reminded him, “Oh, Linnea sent two parcels over for you guys as well. I know you brought clothes with you but…think of them as a welcoming gift.” He added, nodding his head to the two parcels on the table, each labeled with of the girl’s names. Each held a beautiful dress and silk shoes, Beta’s was green, Adelle’s a light gold. (( Betta’s: http://images.wikia.com/merlin1/images/a/a1/Morgana-villains-23621385-550-825.jpg Adelle’s: http://www.dolldivine.com/users/h/ha/16287/2012-07-03_21-21-32--24_190_17_31--_DollDivine_Game-Of-Thrones.jpg )) Iggy chuckled as she sat down beside her with the baby girl, smiling as Elysia crawled over to him. He picked her up in his arms almost naturally as he spoke to his girl. “Well, I’d say that’s two then…” He mused, nodding to the baby boy giving Sare a toothy grin as he saw her. He looked down to the baby girl in his arms, adjusting his hold accordingly when she shifted without warning. It was something he’d gotten used to quickly. “Do all of you guys shift this much when you’re young?” He asked with a quiet laugh, leaning over to steal a quick kiss because he could. Nina gave him a small smile, “I’m feeling okay…” She told him, continuing to play with his fingers idly as he sorted out lunch with Kai and Kyler. Kai looked at Kyler knowingly, making a bit of a face before laughing softly at Devin's complaining. She knew her boy needed to shift and hunt soon but it didn't mean she wanted to know about it. She just knew to take his pendant and wait until he got back. Either way it wasn't safe for him to do so right now. "As long as there's a meatless or fish option I'm good with anything..." She told him with a small smile, so happy Celeste's pills worked on getting rid of her cravings. Nina gave a small shrug, "Something easy....pasta maybe?" She asked him with a small smile, even knowing she had to get some protein in her system but she wasn't sure she was up to eating meat yet. The tea Kai gave her now was for nausea and the residual pain, but no longer put her in a haze. Something she'd always be happy about. |

Betta nodded with a smile as she walked over and tugged on Adelle's hand so the falcon would get up from her perch near the window. Keeping her hand in hers, she led her towards the kitchen where Bryce was unwrapping a bunch of delicious looking pastries for them. "You can't tell me those don't look good." She told the other girl with a smile as Adelle smiled back. "They look really good." She admitted as she leaned over and took one. Biting into it, she blinked. "Oh, this is really good! It kind of tastes like... oranges. But not really." She said as Betta laughed. She remembered trying some of the food here for the first time. It was a bit to take in, but it was all really good. As long as she avoided the spicy stuff. She wanted to laugh as she remembered Bryce's face that first time. When he mentioned dinner in town, Betta smiled at him, thinking it was a good idea. It would get Adelle out of the house, and hopefully get her mind off of what was going on back on Earth with the pack. "That was very kind of her." She said as she looked over at the packages before tugging on Adelle's hand. "You have to see what you have to wear. It's like... living in a Shakespeare play or something." She told her with a smile as Adelle's eyes sparked with curiosity. Sare just giggled as she leaned over and swooped up a laughing Jason into her arms as she peppered his face with kisses. She looked over with a grin as Elysia shifted again as she nuzzled up against Iggy, gnawing on his arm with her tiny, puppy teeth. "No, not really." She said with a laugh as Jason decided to shift into a puppy as well, refusing to be outdone by his sister, his wolf form black instead of grey and brown. "It's because both of their parents are Alpha's. So they have all this power to shift with. And also probably explains their energy." She said with a smile, not even wincing as Jason growled playfully and tugged on her shirt with his puppy teeth. She just bopped him on the nose lightly as he pulled back with a snuff and a sneeze before shaking his head. "If you and I had a child that was a wolf, he or she would probably shift much less. Not this whenever she pleased." She said as she ran her fingers through Jason's fur as he growled and tried to play with shirt again. ((Jason and Elysia pup forms: http://cdn.c.photoshelter.com/img-get/I0000WxyLx7ibaF8/s/600/600/MW1117.jpg Sare's shirt: http://www.victoriassecret.com/clothing/view-all-tops/open-back-embellished-top?ProductID=70806&CatalogueType=OLS )) "So if I made some pasta for you girls and myself , maybe add a little seafood in it? Then I can just send bozo here to go grab whatever he pleased since he's being so picky." Devin said with a wave of his hand as Kyler scowled. "Haven's organizing a hunt today. We're splitting the pack in half so half stays here while the other half hunts, then we'll swap. It's much safer that way." He explained as Devin nodded. Even with half of the pack staying together, they still had more people in one half than the other, opposing pack had all together. And if they all stayed together when they hunted, then it should be safe. "Well anyways, does pasta with something like shrimp sound good?" He asked as he kissed Nina's cheek. He was glad to see her eating something a little more substantial than say crackers or something. It meant she was getting better, and he wanted her to get better. Not just physically though. He wanted her to get better mentally too. For her to get over the guilt and everything else. That's what he was going to try his hardest to help with. |

Bryce smiled as the girls came in, positioning the logs in the stove as they talked over the pastries. "Hey hey we feel just as out if place in your world...." he teased them as he stood up to grab what simply looked like two flat rocks from the counter. And of course a pastry to munch on. "Go on and see them...I have to make a visit home tomorrow so Linnea wants feedback...." he teased, connecting the two rocks in a fast, fluid motion and igniting the logs before closing the gated door. He'd been at Kais with the girls as much as possible but he still had the occasional dignitary or meeting to endure, usually before the girls were awake, returning no later than in time for lunch. He always left a note with a different flower on the nightstand for Betta to remind her. His mother had tried to get him to bring them to the castle but he quickly told her it would be too overwhelming for Adelle without Ian. Iggy chuckled with a nod, looking down as the young female pup nawed on his arm but only looked amused. "Hey...I don't think I taste very good, sassi..." he teased, running his fingers through her fur behind her ears. He looked to Sare then, a small smile on his lips. "Oh so its an if now, not when? Backing out of your five kids then??" He teased her with a playful wink, returning his gaze to the in his arms. Kai laughed softly, "Sounds perfect..." she told Devin, resisting the urge to make a face at the sound of the hunt. She looked to her fiance though, its not so much the other pack I'm worried about..." she told him flatly, "Whose staying and who is going?" She asked, meaning along the lines of him, Seth, Ian, Diana, Haven and Celene. She was of course worried for others such as Celeste and Jared, or Erik and Jerrod but she was referring to the main players. Nina smiled as he kissed her cheek, looking up at him with a nod. "Just leave the seafood out of mine? I know Kai and Celeste are going to yell at me for not eating any protein but I dont think my system is up for it quite yet...." she told him honestly, ignoring the other couple. Did she completely approve of the hunts? No but she understood what they meant for her boy and the other wolves. Besides, she ate meat herself, but back home they were a little more humane in the slaughter. process. |

Betta grinned as she gave Adelle the packet with her name on it before taking her own and opening it a happy grin on her face. She knew what to expect, Adelle did not. So when Adelle opened hers, she gasped as she pulled the gorgeous dress out to study it. "Oh I love it!" She said with a happy smile on her face as she held it up to her body and looked down at it. Betta just laughed, noticing that the gold colour would look amazing on her and match her eyes very well. "Isn't it so cool? People really dress like that around here! It took me a little while to adjust, but I don't mind at all. I feel like a princess really with all these pretty dresses." She told the falcon as Adelle giggled at her before going back to studying her dress. Betta looked over at Bryce with a smile as she nodded. "Tell Linnea that she did amazing as usual." She told him as she ran a hand down the green dress in her hands, loving the colour of it. It sucked, not being able to wake up in Bryce's arms since he was usually gone by then. She knew that he had to though, and he was always thoughtful enough to leave a flower with his note. Elysia made a little high pitched yipping noise as she flopped over to show her chubby belly tummy to Iggy as she wriggled around happily, a toothy smile on her face. Sare just laughed at her little niece as she ran her fingers through Jason's fur. Jason saw his sister, and made a little growling noise as he stuck his butt up in the air in a pouncing position before hopping over a couple of times and pouncing his sister with a playful growl. They rolled away from Iggy, in the middle between him and Sare as they both growled at each other and continued to play wrestle. Sare just shook her head before looking over at Iggy with a laugh. "No! I meant if we had a wolf child. Because... I don't know if any of our children will be wolves like me." She corrected him with a smile. "I still want my five children dang it." She said with a grin. Kyler sighed, knowing what she was referring too, but the hunt couldn't be put off anymore. "Haven, Celene, Seth and I will be in the first hunt. There will be plenty of eyes to keep an eye on him since nobody is allowed to split off. Ian will be in charge of the second hunt, and Finn, Diana, and you Devin if you want, will be in that hunt." He explained, thinking it was best if they split Seth and Diana up. Devin nodded with a smile as he kissed her cheek. "No seafood in yours." He promised her. He knew she'd eat some later when she felt more comfortable with keeping it down in her stomach. He wasn't going to push her. He looked over as Kyler said his name before nodding and turning back to NIna. He might go, he wasn't sure yet if he would or not. Since he wasn't in the line of fire like the others, he wasn't as worried, but he was still careful. |

Bryce chuckled as he heard the girls’ reaction, shaking his head a bit as he started setting up the ingredients for lunch. “Well…technically speaking you will be a princess someday…” He teased his girl, not realizing he said “will” instead of “could”. He knew what was expected, especially with everything Betta was going to go through over the next year or so. But, he was realistic. Knowing anything could happen over that year or so to change her mind. He didn’t know what he’d do if she left, but there was always that possibility. “I’m glad you like them though. I’m also glad you get her reference to Shakespeare or whomever, Adelle. She keeps using it but goddess knows if I know what it actually means. Iggy laughed as the two cubs wrestled on the floor, shaking his head a bit. “Well is that five children including the ones included in the package or are we raising the number to seven?” He teased her, watching the two pups again. “As far as if they’ll be wolves…I don’t know if they’ll be Guardians either…” He told her with a small shrug, “I guess Kai Lynn really is our guinea pig…” He looked over with a small grin. Honestly it would be nice if their kids were both but…no one knew what was going to happen or if it was going to change with each pregnancy. Or if the two genes would cancel the other out. It was a mystery but as long as they were happy and healthy he didn’t really care. He had already talked to Celene about Lilith and Jeremiah coming back with him and she hadn’t hesitated giving him permission, something he was very grateful for. Kai gave him a small nod, grateful at least they were splitting up Diana and Ian. She still wasn’t overly thrilled with the idea but it was better than nothing. She looked to him them, “Just don’t forget to give me your pendant before you head out.” She told him simply. She’d managed to find a chord for Devin’s, at least temporarily. She knew Nina wanted to get a new one once they were back home along with a little something for Erik. Nina gave him a small, grateful smile as he agreed. When Kyler brought his name up she looked to him with a small nod, “I think you should go later…” She told him, even though the thought made her stomach drop. Until a few days ago he hadn’t shifted in some time, much less hunted. She knew it was risky for him to go on the hunt now, but they didn’t know how long it all was going to last. |

Betta blushed brightly at his words, not able to help herself. Even with all the talk, and the raining, it still didn't seem real to her sometimes. She knew that she loved Bryce with all of her heart, but sometimes this royalty thing seemed like a dream. It's not exactly what she had signed up for, but if it meant keeping Bryce then she would learn how to be a Princess. Man... her uncles were going to get a kick out of this. Adelle just grinnnnned at Betta as she blushed at Bryce's words, finding it absolutely adorable. Betta had never been the one to fall head over heels for a guy. She was like Ian in that they both were going to remain single their whole lives. Funny how those plans worked out, huh? She was just happy that the girl was happy. And she found it a bit ironic that the tom-boy Italian who always hung out with men with not so many manners and the hot-headed attitude was going to be trained to be a princess. She got an endless amount of humour from that. When Bryce talked about Shakespeare, Adelle smiled at him. "Shakespeare was an English playwright back around the end of the 16th century that wrote many plays and sonnets. He's actually one of the most famous playwrights in history, his plays being the most copied today I believe. Jared has a book with all of his plays in it if you are interested to ever know what she's talking about." She supplied with a smile. Sare thought about his question with a grin, keeping an eye on the wrestling pups between them. "I think we should raise the number to seven! I really like the idea of a full house." She said with a laugh and a grin. She would love for a couple of them to be wolves like her, but if they weren't that was fine too. She would love her children no matter what they were. When he mentioned Kai, she couldn't help but grin. "Oh I can't wait until Fiona gets here! I'm so excited to see what she is, but even more, I just want to hold her and give her lots of kisses! I love children." She said with a sigh, a happy smile on her face. Soon enough, the two puppy's got tired, and ended up shifting back to their human form, both of them laying on the ground breathing hard. Sare swept up Jason with a smile as she placed a kiss on his forehead. She loved her little niece and nephew so much. Jason laughed at her as he tugged on her curls making happy baby chatter as she continued to hold him and placed kisses on his head. By this time, their mother was walking in with a small smile on her face. "Oh good, you've already worn them out." Celene said as she sat across from the couple. Jason heard his mommy and began to yell happily and laugh as he held his arms out for her. Sare handed him over with a smile as Celene took her son with a grin, making a whooshing noise as she took him and swung him through the air before bringing him close for several kisses. "There's momma's baby." She cooed as Jason laughed and drooled a little. Celene just laughed and grabbed a nearby burp cloth to wipe his face clean with. Looking over, she smiled at her sister and her new fiance. "They were good I hoped?" She asked. She didn't have much time before she had to go to take inventory for Celeste's healing supplies, and then catch Rochelle for a meeting, the other wolf needing to tell her something important apparently. She just wanted to stop by and see her children for a little bit. With everything going on, it was so rare it seemed that she got to spend time with them, and she hated it. She felt like she was going to miss something if she wasn't here. Kyler nodded as he gave her a quick kiss. "Of course, I don't want anything to happen to it." He told her, not wanting to accidentally break it like Devin had with his. His cousin was already upset enough over it. "Thanks for being so understanding." He murmured so only she heard him, glad that she was taking this so well. He knew how much the hunts bothered her. And he never forgot to thank her for taking them so well. Devin looked to Nina with a small frown, but nodded. "If you're okay with it." He told her softly, not wanting to upset or worry her. He didn't really want to leave her, but if she was fine, he should probably go since he didn't know when he'd be able to do this again. "I love you." He told her as he kissed her cheek. "Why don't I go make us all some lunch now? I'm sure we could all use the food." He said with a smile as he looked around the room. |
