Devin's strong nose flared and then wrinkled a little at the smell of the herb, finding it to be a bit overwhelming to his senses, but if it helped Nina he wasn't going to complain. He continued to nod at Kai's instructions, not really saying anything. After his little outburst, he had jammed all of his feelings back inside, not wanting Nina to see them when he walked up there. He didn't want her to worry or anything because he knew she was already going to be upset and she had enough problems to deal with. When she handed him the cup, he took it from her gently as he held it in his hands. Nodding one last time, he headed up the stairs and towards their room where Nina was laying on the bed. Walking in quietly, he sat on the bed next to her, feeling his heart breaking all over again as he watched her lay there. "Hey Sparky." He said quietly.

Sare knew he was only half paying attention to her, which only made her more mad, and his shrug sort of topped it off. His words may have cool her off just a tad, but it wasn't enough. "I would say something in defence to that, but since you're not even listening to me, I'm not even going to try. Don't bother talking to me for a while Iggy." She told him as she stormed out of the sliding glass door and into the woods behind Kylers house, hot tears streaming down her face. Sheperd, this was terrible. She never argued with Iggy. Ever! And now here they were fighting over something that wasn't even their problem to deal with!? It made her so angry, and it hurt. Iggy never raised his voice at her, because he knew she was terrified by yelling but the way he just shrugged her off as if he wasn't even listening to her? That was what hurt. She knew he was concerned for his cousin, and she didn't blame him, but she just wanted him to loosen up with Devin. He didn't treat Kyler the same as Dev, she wasn't blind.

Betta just rested her head against Bryce's shoulder as he scooped her up and deposited her in one of the armchairs. She nodded at his words as she finally looked at him with sad eyes. Today was just terrible. "Si, okay." She told him quietly.

Kai watched him go up the stairs and leaned against the counter, sipping at her own tea as she tried to calm herself down. That lasted all of three seconds untill Iggy's wave of guilt hit her hard. She set the cup down on the counter as she tried not to vomit. She wasn't able to handle emotional waves like that like she used to. She just looked over to Kyler with a sigh before sitting on the cooler floor, resting her head back with a bitter laugh, "When's it our turn to be carefree?" She asked, not to him in particular but in general. "Now Sare's gone and stormed off and Iggy's guilt and anger is making my stomach do flips...." She mumbled, running a hand through her hair as she tried to calm Iggy down but it wasn't helping much...

Nina cracked her eyes open as Devin walked in, a faint and weak smile on her lips as he sat down. "Hey..." she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. With Kai's help she was sitting up a little, her hair pulled back in a simple braid but she looked pale and flushed still. Her arms were resting in her lap, and she looked down to them for a moment before speaking. "I'm so sorry..." Was all she said to him and it was barely audible. She felt slightly empty, nauseuos and above all guilty. Her dark eyes were rimmed with red, her fingers fidgeting with the spare covers Kai had put on the bed after the others were ruined. Devin deserved someone who could give him kids and apparently she wasn't it...she didn't blame him for wanting to leave. She was defective, thats all there was to it..."I am so sorry..." She repeated again, no louder than the first time though and her voice sounded chocked. She didn't have any tears left or they'd be coming down her face so she just looked back down at her hands.

Iggy watched her go, squashing his first intention to go after her but he needed to cool down a bit first before he did. He fell back to the couch and ran a hand over his face as he squashed his anger and tried to squash his guilt. They never fought, ever, and he didn't mean to shrug her off but he was a little preoccupied at the moment that the last thing he wanted to do was discuss how much of a dick he was to Devin. He knew he was rough on the kid but there was reason behind it. He wasn't as rough on Kyler because he'd practically lived with the man at school and now he was. He was used to him and his ways. He wasn't the same way with Devin because of how quick it all had moved with him and his cousin. Just something about the kid irked him and he couldn't place it...aside from the whineness...He ran his hand through his hair as he blew out a stream of air before standing up and headin out to the back yard, hands burried in his jeans. "Sare!? Wolfie, come on...I'm sorry..." He called out, and one could tell in his voice radiated true concern and sincerity as he made his way into the edge of the woods. "Serephina, please?"

Kyler looked up as Kai walked in, giving her a similar laugh. He sat down on the floor next to her as he took her hand. "Tell me about it. I was just thinking of when we were allowed to take a vacation. Preferrably one that lasted about a decade or so." He told her. When she told him about Iggy he sighed as he kissed the top of her head. "Any thing I can to do to help?" He asked her.

Devin brushed his fingers over her face, wishing above everything else there was something he could do for her. Anything. When she apologized to him, he frowned. "Nina... Sparky please to apologize to me." He said in a pained voice. "And drink your tea. All of it, because Kai said it will help. I want you better." He told her. All he wanted to do was to curl up next to her and hold her. He was going to tell Haven flat out that he wasn't going to leave her side these next couple of days. His Alpha could kick him out of the pack for all he cared. Nina came first.

Sare had already traveled a good distance into the forest before collapsing at the foot of a tree and just sitting there and crying silently. She decided that she hated arguing with Iggy. She didn't like this at all and it made her feel horrible. Curling up, she buried her face into her knees as she just sat there, wishing to start the day over. When had everything suddenly gone so wrong?!

She was just sitting there, silent tears continuing to stream down her face when she heard Iggy's voice in the back yard calling for her. Her first instinct was to go running to him and apologize, forget this all happened, But her feet didn't budge, and she just sat there, face buried in her knees, sniffling as she tried to stop the tears.

"Make sure he doesn't throttle Devin when he gets here?" She mused, half joking but she had a feeling it would be better to seperate the guys for the moment. She curled into his side as she finally got her urge to vomit under control. "A decade of peace would be amazing..." she agreed, placing a hand on her stomach as her daughter squirmed. "Ow...Fiona I love you but that doesn't mean I appreciate you making my stomach a punching bag..." she mused, a small smile on her lips. The name seemed to kind of...fit.

Nina looked to the tea and took it carefully but set it in her lap, not drinking it at first. She just wrapped her hands around the steaming liquid before finally looking up at him with a shaky breath. "But I am..." she said, shaking her head a little. "...my fault...." she added, and one could tell she was still a little hazzy minded from whatever Kai had given her to get her to sleep.

Iggy continued walking into the woods, sending his shadow out in front of him like a search dog. He called out her name, just feeling tired over the whole thing. Finally he spotted her and his shadow returned. Without a word he sat down beside her and wrapped an arm around her, kissing the top of her head gently. "I'm sorry...." he said softly, hating seeing her like this. He wanted that morning back. He wanted his happy laughing girl back he was going to propose too that weekend.

"I'll do my best." Kyler told her as he kissed the top of her head as she curled into his side. He chuckled as she talked to their daughter. He kissed her gently, glad that she finally had a name. "So.. for the middle name, I was thinking of Elizabeth. What do you think of it? It was my mother's middle name." He asked randomly, trying to keep her mind off of feeling all of the emotions rolling around. He didn't want her to feel more sick.

Devin first felt anger at first. Not at her, but at him. Then he felt a heaping pile of guilt. "Don't ever blame yourself Nina Fields. This isn't your fault, and will never be your fault." He told her sternly. "Now drink your tea, please? I want to see you get better and as soon as your finished drinking it, I can wrap my arms around you like I want to." He said as he nudged the cup in her hands gently.

Sare just sniffled as she felt Iggy sat down as he apologized. "You didn't listen to me." She told him in a hurt voice before she just turned into his arms and bawled her eyes out, not liking this fighting at all. She couldn't handle being mad at him. With everything else going on, she couldn't handle it, couldn't do it.

Kai thought it over for a moment, "Fiona Elizabeth Langstrom....sounds perfect." She told him with a soft smile, leaning up and kissing his cheek softly. "Now look how easy that was...' she teased him lightly, loving their daughter finally had a name. A real complete name.

Nina wanted more than anything to just be able to cry but the tears wouldnt come. Finally she just nodded, carefully sipping at her tea. She glanced up to him after a moment but the words wouldnt come out so she just slowly worked on finishing her tea. As Kai warned she seemed to slip a little further into a haze but her breath wasnt as labored and some color had returned to her cheeks. "Done...." she told him, handing him the cup back. She just didnt feel right. At all. "Devin...." she trailed off anf looked away, unable to find the words to begin with, much less in english.

Iggy gathered her up in his arms, kissing the top if her head gently. "I know...Im so sorry..." he told her, running his hand up and down her back in comfort. "Come on, lets get you back to the house...i'll even make you hot chocolate...." he promised her gently, kissing her head again.

Kyler smiled back at her as he chuckled quietly. "Seems easy now that we have it. That was a pain, dear, to figure out." He pointed out to her as he kissed the top of her head. "I like it. I really do. And I'm so happy she has a name now." He told her as he placed a hand over her stomach lightly, thumb brushing across her tank top softly.

Devin watched her to make sure she drank it all. When she did, he took the cup back and placed it on the nighstand. Then he curled up into bed with her, wrapping his arms around her. "Just lay here with me, please? I just want to hold you, make sure you're okay." He told her as he kissed her cheek gently and sweetly. He didn't know what he would do if he truly lost her. Possibly be insane for the rest of his life. He couldn't even stand to think like that. So he focused on the girl in his arms. She was okay, and she was still here. That was always something to be thankful for.

Sare just continued to cry as she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly, face buried in his shoulder. She didn't move back for a while, having to try and calm down and stop crying. Finally, moving back, she sniffled several times as she rubbed at her raw, red eyes. "I don't like it when we fight." She told him in a scratchy voice, not knowing if she was able to move right now. She didn't think her stomach could handle the rich hot chocolate that Iggy was offering her right now.

Kai smiled a bit more as he rested his hand on her stomach, leaning up and kissing him lightly. "She's gonna be a very lucky little girl spoiled rotten by her father..." She teased him, but there was a faint grin on her lips. She could already see it in his eyes, Fiona was going to be a total daddy's girl if her husband had anything to do with it...and she couldn't imagine it any other way. It was just another reason he had to come out of this...why they all did.

Nina nodded, curling up against him but even though she wasn't in pain she was still sore and stiff. She fingered his pendant idly, looking up at him finally as he laid there with her. She couldn't form a real sentance in her head, much less get it out. Finally she just came out with a few words, "...broken...my fault..." She said, looking back down and away from him. She'd heard some of what he'd told Kai in his outburst and but she couldn't find the strength to be mad. She just felt guilty and weak like everything was against her...if Devin left she didn't know what she would do but again she couldn't find the strength to be mad.

Iggy let her cry it out, at some point moving her so she was sitting in his lap. "I know...I don't like it either..." he told her, kissing her lips gently before gingerly wiping the tears off of her face. "I didn't mean to ignore you, wolfie. I'm really sorry...." he told her again, running hand gently through her hair. He hated seeing her like this and the fact he was the reason? It killed him...

Kyler smiled as she kissed him as he stole another kiss from her. "I'm not even going to argue that. She's already got me wrapped around her tiny little finger." He told her as he took his free hand brushed his thumb across her cheek. "Just like her mother does." He told her. If this wasn't a good enough reason to come back, he didn't know what was. He had a family that would be waiting for him. An actually family. And he loved them so much.

Devin just held her, focusing on how much she meant to him. It absolutely killed him what she was going through. She never deserved that, ever. And he felt guilty, as if it was his fault, and he had a feeling he would never get over that guilt, but he wasn't going anywhere. He would be by her side as long as she would have him. When she spoke up, he looked down at her, frowning at her words. Taking her chin gently in his hand, he tilted her face to him so she would look at him. "I never want to hear you say that again." He told her firmly. "You are not broken, and this not, and will never be your fault. You are perfect and beautiful and strong. If anything this is my fault. I'm not worthy enough for you. But know this, Nina Fields, for every day for the rest of my life, I'm going to work and prove it to you that I am. I will never be good enough for you, but that won't stop me from trying. I love you, and to me, you will always be perfect and whole." He told her.

Sare sniffled again as she worked to get her teary eyes under control. Her eyes ached from all of the crying she was doing, and she just wanted to stop crying. She honestly just wanted a redo card of the whole day. She nodded at Iggy's words as she wiped at her before leaning her head against his chest, feeling so much better now that he had his arms around her. Technically speaking. His hand running through her hair felt really good too. It was very soothing and comforting. "It's my fault anyways." She told him in a crackly voice and she had to clear her throat.

Kai smiled as she felt his finger go across her skin, placing her hand on top of the one resting on her stomach. “Yep.” She said simply with a soft laugh, “I love you so much, Kyler….” She added, feeling like she wouldn’t be able to say that enough over the coming days and possibly weeks. Never knowing when or if he was coming home. He would. He had to.

Nina heard him but his words took a few moments to really sink in, tears finally reaching her eyes as she just shook her head and buried her face in his shoulder for a moment. She wished she was strong like Kai, not knowing how her mother had gone through this more than once. It was horrible, absolutely horrific to know that you weren’t able to maintain a new life. “Not perfect. Not you. Me.” She told him, her soft, shaky voice having a stubborn edge to it. “Drinking.” She sniffed, only a few tears escaped even though she just felt like crying for the rest of time. Maybe one day she wouldn’t feel like this, one day she could be happy…but that day felt like a lifetime away.

Iggy pulled back and shook his head, “We’re not playing the blame game. We both snapped and both got upset….” He told her, kissing her forehead gently, “Come on, I’ll carry you back to the house because, frankly, there is a rock up my bum I’d rather not be sitting on….” He told her, trying to coax a small smile out of her. But it was true…rocks hurt dammit not that he was paying attention.
