"Well floating does sound like a better option at the moment." Kyler told her before letting out a breath as she walked up and placed her hands on his chest. Wrapping his arms around her, he looked down at the woman in his arms who had quickly become his everything. He couldn't help. Just the thought of something happening to her, he couldn't bear it. He didn't know what he would do to himself if something did happen to her. He wanted her to be as safe as possible. "I love you too. And please, I just want you to be careful. I know you can take care of yourself, but I don't want you to try and do somethign you used to be able to and can't now and you hurt yourself." He told her.

"Sounds like a plan to me!" Devin told her playfully with a grin, loving the red over her tanned cheeks. She really was so beautiful. "I could hold you all day if I have to, or want to." He teased as he stole another kiss. He just wanted to keep her distracted and make sure she had a good time today. He wanted her to get used to his pack and be comfortable around them.

Sare laughed, growling playfully as he nipped at her lip, fingers gripping and flexing lightly on his shoulders. "I am! See my halo?" She asked with a grin as she nipped at his neck a little harder. So what if she wanted to have a little fun beore heading over to the party? There was nothing wrong with that...

Kai smiled up at him with a nod, looping her arms around his neck. "I promise." She told him honestly, kissing him gently before stepping back and tugging gently on his hand. "Come on...the quicker we get there the quicker we get home and just relax..." she told him, glancing to Namid who was curled up at the foot of their bed with her golden eyes on the pair. She smiled before leading Kyler out of the room and down the stairs...only to find Iggy and Sare in the kitchen. "Well now this seems familar..." she teased as Iggy pulled back from nipping Sares shoulder a bit hardee than he had been.

Iggy pulled back with a laugh, "Well you two were taking too damn long..." he said simply, not embarrassed at all nor making a motion to move.

Nina giggled lightly, leaning up and kissing his cheek, "You're ridiculous...." she told him, "Cute and adorable but ridiculous..." she teased, shaking her head a bit.

Kyler nodded with a smile, kissing her back sweetly before letting her lead him out of the room. He squeezed her hand gently as they headed down the stairs and into the kitchen where they found Iggy and Sare.

Sare made a face at her best friend, obviously not seeming embarrassed at all for the position they had been caught in. Shame? She had none! She probably wouldn't even be embarrassed if they had been in a more rique position.

"Yea! Take forever, gosh!" She said as she unwrapped her legs from around Iggy. Kissing him briefly, she hopped off of the counter.

"So are we ready to go yet?!" She asked. Over the day, she had lost the hair tye in her hair, leaving her curls to fall where they may around her face.

"Impatient much?" Kyler teased her as she rolled her eyes.

"Duh! If you're done mother henning Kai let's gooo!" She declared as Kyler snorted with a laugh.

"Fine, let's go. Are you two riding with us, or seperate?" He asked, looking to Iggy for this question instead of Sare.

Devin laughed with a shrug. "I will take ridiculously cute and adorable." He swapped her words around a little. "Sounds fitting, don't you think?" He teased as he walked them into one of the quieter, not as busy rooms. There was only two or three more people in here, so it wasn't as bad for her he knew. And she at least knew two of them he was sure. He thought. He wasn't sure after all.

Iggy thought about Kylers question as he wrapped an arm around Sare's waist, "Seperate. This way if you and Kai can leave if you need to..." he told them, figuring him amd Sare would be staying longer whether Kai actually admitted to being tired or not. Kai was nothing like Nina, she didnt mind the large crowds ans the pups? Please they meant nothing to her.

Kai nodded with a small laugh, "Well then stop dragging your feet lets go..." she mused, tugging gently on Kyler's hand as Iggy followed them out with Sare.

Nina giggled silently, "that's not what I said!" She told him with a roll of her eyes, looking around at the few people in the room. She vaguely recognized two of the people and gave them a small wave and a smile before looking back to Devin, still not quite sure. There were too many people to remember!!

Kyler nodded, not having a problem with that. That way, if Kai was tired and the others wanted to stay, they could and he could take his fiancee home. He groaned as Kai tugged him towards the door, not really wanting to go. These large events were so petty and tiresome. He got tired of always being sized up. "Do we HAVE to?" He asked Kai as he grudgingly followed her to the door.

Sare just grinned like a maniac. She never had to worry about the same things that Kyler did. She just went to party and have fun. Most of the pack loved her anyways. "I'm warning you now, I'll be drinking." She told him. Not like it probably bothered him anyways because she got rather... frisky when she drank.

"Sure it is! That is exactly how I heard it! Did you not use those words?" Devin asked her with a grin. He smiled as she smiled and waved at the two girls she knew in turn they smiled brightly at her and waved back before turning back to their conversation. "You know 'em." He murmured low enough for only her to hear. "Trina and Melanie." He told her their names again. She had only met them a couple of times briefly so he didn't expect her to remember their names.

Kai laughed softly, “I don’t want to go either but so is life.” She told him, quoting her brother as she opened the door and grabbed his car keys off the table on the way out. “Besides, underlings see not showing up at least briefly as a sign of cowardess which, even if it isn’t for you, they consider a weak spot. Never let them know they get to you.” She added as she stopped in front of his car, handing him his keys with a grin. It was obviously her training for royal life coming through in her worlds. “You smile and drink with those who wish you harm, never ignore them or turn your back.

Iggy chuckled with a roll of his eyes, “Just don’t be too drunk to stay on the back of the bike…deal?” He mused with a small smirk, knowing exactly how she got when she drank. Hell if he minded…

“Wrong order.” She told him, listening to his words with a small nod, “Right…okay.” She told him, suddenly wishing she hadn’t opted to pull her hair back away from her face. She had to stop this…she felt horrible being a burden on Devin when he was with his pack, even if he said she wasn’t. If she was this bad now…could she even get up the isle one day no matter what dress she chose?

"They don't get to me persay. They're like those fucking mosquitos. They agitate you and as soon as you destroy one, fifty more take it's place." Kyler grumbled as he took the keys from Kai and opened up the passenger door of his giant red truck, holding his hand out to help her up. "But that's why I have an amazing fiancee as you. When there's too many of them, you just freeze them all silmontaneously and shatter them into a million pieces." He grinned.

"Deal! Besides, have I ever been that drunk?" Sare asked with a grin as she followed him out to the bike. She took her helmet and strapped it onto her head before waiting for Iggy to get on before getting on behind him, arms wrapped tight around him.

Devin smiled before pausing as he could see the wheels turning in her head. And not in a good way. "Hey. Hey, it's going to be okay." He told her as he ran his fingers through her hair. "Is there anything I can do to make this easier or better for you?" He asked her, wishing there was something he could do for her.

Kai laughed as she took his hand, “Mhmmm! If that’s what you desire I’d be more than happy.” She mused, stealing a quick kiss before hopping into the truck. She remembered one of the first big gatherings one of the pups started in with her since Kyler had gone off for the moment to speak to Ian. She’d more than held her own, freezing the pup to the ground with the water from Ian’s pool and just leaving him there to figure out how to get out. She understood the concept of keeping your enemies closer very well, and there were some wolves there she didn’t trust as much as she trusted a Malvagio warrior. If there was anything she was afraid of and for in both worlds it was the safety of their daughter. She looked to Kyler though with a grin as he hopped in his side, giving his hand a small squeeze.

“You’ve been close….” He said simply with a chuckle, getting on the bike and slipping his helmet over his head. Once he felt her arms go around him securely his bike roared to life. He gave a quick wave to the other couple before heading off down the driveway.

Nina shook her head with a small smile, “I’m fine, Dev…” She told him softly, but sighed a bit, “I left my wine cooler outside by the pool. I only had a couple sips. You mind grabbing me another?” She asked him with a slightly stronger smile, “You can put me down on the couch. I’ll be fine…” She added, more reassuring herself than him.

"Dear Sheperd, please do it then!" Kyler begged her before leaning up, and deepning the kiss before he finally let her pull away. That right there did make him feel much better. Smiling at her, he closed her door before getting in on his own side and backing out of the garage and driveway and onto the road towards Ian's. He squeezed Kai's hand back gently as she took his hand, looking over and flashing her a smile. "This would seriously suck without you." He told her.

Sare just gave Iggy a laugh as she leaned her head against his back, smiling as she watched the scenery fly by them as Iggy drove. She'd never really been much of a bike person, but being on Iggy's bike with him had definitely changed her opinion of them. She loved riding on his bike with him. It was so much fun, and so exhilerating.

Devin watched her, knowing she wasn't okay, but he wasn't going to push her. He nodded at her request as he walked her over to the couch and sat her down gently before stealing a kiss. "I'll be right back, okay?" He asked her with a small smile as he brushed his fingers over her cheek. If anybody did try to mess with her while he was gone... he wasn't going to hold back when he beat the living shit out of them.

Kai laughed, "Just think of it this way...I get dragged to your functions here and then you get dragged to mine back home! Its a two-way street!" She mused, a small grin on her face. In all honesty she wanted to see Adelle and Ian most, maybe mess with Haven if he was still there. She couldn't help but take pride in the fact that she was one of the few who could get him to crack a smile. He tried the "Im-so-serious-rawr" on her at first and all she did was call him a big fluffy teddy bear. Only older male who scared her was her father and occasionally the emperor. Other than that? Nah.

They pulled up to Devin's not much later, Iggy parking behind Devin's truck. He pulled his helmet off with a sigh, "Damnit...." He grumbled as his longer black hair fell around his face, apparently his tie had fallen out. It just brushed his shoulders now, and he would've cut it but Sare was rather insistant that he keep his hair at least for the moment.

Nina smiled a little at his concern, leaning up and kissing his cheek briefly, "I'll be fine, Devin...go..." She told him, trying to give him a more real smile but it faltered a little. Once he finally left she let out a small sigh, playing with her fingers in her lap. She felt her cousin nearby then, Kai right behind him, and it made her relax the smallest bit as she looked around. She could do this. Nothing was going to happen.
