((Eugh, stupid phone v.v))

Devin was a little distracted after kiss, wanting nothing more at the moment than to stay here and kiss up on his girl all night. It sounded like an amazing plan, but unfortunately not possible. He knew Nina was right, and people would come to get them if they didn't show up. Sighing, he stole one more kiss yet not moving back yet. "I guess this means we have to leave, huh?" He asked, stealing yet another kiss.

Sare blushed again but smiled as Cristoph asked about his daughter. She loved seeing how close Nina was to her parents, it made her happy to see good examples of families and such strong ties and love. It gave her hope for the world. She had a feeling what was taking Nina and Devin so long, but she didn't say anything as she just stood there happily surrounded by happiness and people she loved. She looked over to catch Iggy's eyes and cast a wink in his direction.

Ian chuckled before sighing. "Mate, when, if." He corrected himself, not knowing what the future held in store. "A daughter comes along, I'm in so much trouble it's not even funny. Especially if she looks like her mother." He grinned as he looked over at his wife with loving eyes. Turning back to Iggy he nudged the man playfully. "What are you going to do when Sare starts asking about those five kids?" He teased.

"Oh that's such an interesting idea I never considered that!" Adelle exclaimed with a smile. "I think that's amazing. I would love to pass something like that down." She grinned. When he brought up shiny things and jewelry, she giggled. "Is it like the books?! Do they collect hoards of treasure and stuff to sit on and collect?" She asked, giggling more at the image of a room in Iggy's house designated soley for Keegan and his treasure.

Nina smiled up at him as he pulled away, "Yep..." she mused, mimicking the way he'd popped the 'p' earlier. In her accent it was an odd combination. She spoke up again as she retied the bodice of her dress. "Oi...it won't be that bad...its a bonfire tonight so ye'll have a small break from formal sit-down dinners " she added with a shrug, stealing one more kiss before playfully shoving his shoulder with a giggle. "Ye have already made us late...now come on...."

Iggy chuckled, catching Sare's wink with a small smirk of his own before looking back to Ian. "She already has....I've not said no....but I've convinced her to be content, least for the moment, with the kids we've just acquired." He mused with a shrug. He knew Lily was already attached to her side. Jeremiah, as he figured, would take more time but he wasn't a prick about it. Iggy knew both kids were still absorbing the fact their father would be gone by end of day. He paused then, cursing under his breath as he rubbed his forehead. "Of all the.....the cousel wants me present at my brother's execution in an hour. Fuck me...I don't want to have to explain why I have to leave..."

Jeremiah thought it over, "Some do just horde it....but others can melt it down and almost...spin it? Its weird to watch but some breeds of dragons horde it till a certain age till they find their mated half then they'll use the metals and jewels to make elaborate, intricate nests. That's more Keegan's goal...." he tried to explain even though there was much more to it.

Devin grinned at his girl, watching her with a pout as she began to retie her bodice. "I know, and I love you're family but I don't want to go. I'm happy here with you." He explained, moving back with a groan as she told him they had to get going. "You made us late." He accused her as he ran his fingers through his hair. "This is all your fault." He nodded with a grin.

Ian chuckled, knowing that Iggy's niece and nephew would only hold her off for so long. She wanted her whole family and now. When Iggy groaned, he looked over and frowned. That really sucked. "Anything I can do to help?" He offered up, knowing that it would make some of the others a little put down when he departed.

Adelle's eyes widened as she looked over at Keegan with fascination. "That is so amazing! Oh I want to watch!" She declared before turning back to Jeremiah with a grin. "I really want a dragon now. They would be the coolest pet ever! And I'd finally have somebody to fly with. The wolf pack is so nice and they're sweet but it's not the same." She sighed. "Not that I can fly for the next six months anyways, but still. To have somebody to soar through the skies again?" She sighed wistfully once more as she began to pet Keegan again.

Nina laughed as he moved back and groaned, stealing a kiss before finally getting up, "Keep telling yourself that and it might come true..." she teased him, gathering up her gifts for Sare. "Lazzzzzy wolf....." she teased as she waited for him, a giggle in her words.

Iggy thought it over, "just make sure Sare is alright. I mean I know she's gonna be fine with Kai and everyone but...you know how she can be. Oh fuck me....I'm already on Betta's shit list.." he paused looking over to where the Prince and Betta were. "Your royal pain in the arse!!!" He called out, causing Bryce to look up slightly confused before kissing Betta on the head and heading over.

"Yesss???" He asked with a chuckle but it faded when he was filled in. Goddess dammit. He hated being heir sometimes. "Its one thing for you to go off but all three of us??"

"No, Ano is taking Kai's counsel place so its just us...I'm the family witness. You're royal ass has to be there since your father isn't....I'm just trying to figure out what we're going to say without making a dark cloud."

Kora came up to Betta when Iggy called Bryce over, resting a hand on her arm. "Boys will be boys dear....can I get you anything to eat?" She asked with a sweet smile despite knowing what was going on. She'd offered to go in Iggys place but it was something he had to do for closure.

Jeremiah gave her a small grin, "Maybe one day ye will...all depends on when this one finds a girl." He mused with a shrug, "I'm guessing you don't have any creatures like that on Earth..." he added, tilting his head a little. His sister paid more attention in school than he ever did. Even then Guardian understanding of Earth was still rather basic.

Devin laughed as he flopped backwards onto the bed. He made a face at her as she called him lazy. "Yea! You have a lazy wolf for a mate! What are you going to do about it? Huh huh?!" He asked with a laugh as he teased her.

Ian nodded as he gave him a salute with his hand holding his glass.. "You got it man." He promised before snorting as he brough up Betta. "I've got her. She'll be fine while his royalness is away." He assured him as he looked over at the girl in question who looked so happy at the moment. To be honest, he hadn't seen it coming. Betta wasn't the type to form attachments easily. Hell, it took her a while to warm up to his own wife and Adelle was one of the sweetest souls around. She didn't have a lot of friends... actually he and Adelle had really been her only friends. Yet here she was, ready to spend a year with Kai learning... royal things just to be with one guy. A guy she had only met back in December. It blew his mind.

Betta smiled at Bryce, laughing quietly as Iggy called him over. She waved at Ian with a smile as her friend winked at her before heading over to where his wife was cooing over the dragon and asking Jeremiah a million questions. She turned as Kora approached her and smiled at the mother. She could feel some dark tendrils of emotion coming from Iggy and knew whatever they were talking about wasn't good. "Are we serving food already?" She asked, blinking in surprise.

"So there are lots of dragons then?" Adelle asked with wide eyes, thinking of the possibilities. When he asked about animals on Earth, she shrugged. "I don't know. I don't... exactly have a lot of schooling." She admitted with a blush. She hadn't exactly had come from the best of families. A lot of bird shifters were set in the old ways and had yet to move into the 21st century. "But no dragons or anything, I can tell you that." She smiled. "There are hundreds of thousands of different types of animals though I've been told; just no dragons. They're only in stories."

"Leave ye here all alooone...." she teased him, giggling as she nudged his foot. "Deviiiiinnnn.....mum is probably holding dinner for us. I don't want to see the twins if they're whiney and hungry. I'll just sick em on ye...." she added with a small laugh, actually getting a little hungry herself. Her appetite was almost back to normal and she couldn't be happier by that fact alone.

Kora gave her a small laugh and a shrug, "Not quite but there's a lot of stuff here they don't serve up at the palace. I figured you'd want to try some...." she offered with a smile, "Better to know what yer eatin lass than constantly guessing." She added with a shrug.

Jeremiah gave Ian a nod before looking back to Adelle with a shrug and a small smile. "I'm hardly one to judge on schooling...." he assured her, "but yeah I've heard creatures in your world don't live at long because of bad stuff in the air and water. In any case you know you're welcome to come visit us...even if its just for Keegan." He added with a chuckle as Keegan eyed the silver ring Kai had given Ian and slowly stretched his body then talened paw out to try and snatch it.

"Oh the horror!" Devin declared dramatically as he flung his hands up before chuckling. He sighed at Nina's words as he finally sat up. "Fine. Fineeeee! I'll get off my lazy bum and we can leave. Just don't try any funny business. I'll immediately blame everything on you otherwise." He nodded with a grin as he stood up and wrapped his arms around her.

"Oh! Okay. Yes that sounds good. I would love to know what I'm eating. I grew up in a kitchen actually, so food is a staple part of my life." She admitted with a smile. It wasn't her passion like Devin, but she loved it. The kitchen and food always brought up happy memories of growing up with her Uncles.

"That's only part of it. A lot of things on our world don't have long life spans. It's just how it is." Ian butted himself into the conversation, able to supply answers where his wife could not. "But yes, humans over the years have not treated the Earth all too kindly. There are people out there trying to fix it, however." He explained. When Keegan made a move for his ring, he snatched his hand back with shifter speed, faster than the human eye could see, and then popped the dragon on the snout lightly. "No. Bad dragon. My ring. Mine." He said before looking over at Jeremiah and making a face. "Do you know how weird this is?! And can I ever scold him or is he going to try and eat me now?" He asked as Adelle rolled her eyes, but continued to lean into her husband.

Nina laughed and shook her head at her boy, "Fine! If its not a big deal then maybe I will go and have fun all on me own!" She told him, fighting the smile as he wrapped his arms around her.

Kai looked up as Bryce and Iggy approached her and the wolves, Lily having dragged her grandfather off to find the twins. "I know....go. It'll be over soon and we'll all feel so much better. I only wish I could go with you...." She assured them, kissing Bryce on the cheek as Iggy moved to talk to Sare.

"Hey....we're gonna have to get going. I swear I'll be back as soon as I can." He promised her, kissing her forehead gently. "If Lily or Jer ask I had an emergency at the forge. The truth I have to be a witness for my brother's execution...." he added softly so neither kid could hear him. He didn't want to panic her...he wanted her to know the truth. All of it. It was obvious he was torn about going. But a part of him knew he had to be there.

Kora smiled, taking Bettas arm as she led her over to the food. "You'll have to know what to order...I doubt you want to live on fish the rest of your days in the palace walls." She teased lightly as she handed her a plate. "Now lets see....well look around and see what you want to try. I'll do my best to explain what they are."

Jeremiah nodded at Ian's interruption, a little irked by it since he'd been talking to Adelle but he didn't let it show. He let a smirk grace his features as Keegan, in response to Ian scolding him, huffed a cloud of smoke into his face. The young dragon used his wings, however to make sure it didn't hit Adelle. "No...he's not big enough to eat you yet...you're just not his friend." He mused with a chuckle as the dragon nuzzled back up against Adelle.

"Fun all on your own?!" Devin asked as he raised his eyebrow. "Yea... see, I don't think that's going to work." He nodded as he looked down at her and stole a kiss. "Where there's a Sparky, there's a wolf boy. You can't go anywhere without me!" He told her as he grinned.

Sare looked up with a smile as Iggy approached, but the smile disappeared as he spoke up. Why was he leaving? Oh... frowning, she nodded; knowing it had to be done and he had to be there. She wrapped her arms around him tightly as she could without crushing him and buried her face into his chest. "You know I'm a terrible liar." She mumbled into his shirt. "I love you and hurry back once it's over."

Betta followed Kora to the food, smiling as she nodded."I like fish, but not that much. Do you think it will be okay? If I ask for other meats besides fish?" She asked, not knowing much yet about royal living and everything. She still had to steel herself so everybody wouldn't walk all over her. She took the plate from Nina's mother with a murmured thanks as she looked around. Where to begin? "It all looks amazing." She complimented her before finally pointing at a random dish.

"Yea, well I'm a little bit territorial, forgive me." Ian replied dryly as he glared at the dragon nuzzling up to his happy wife. "Speaking of, she's mine dragon. Find your own falcon." He made a face at it as Adelle rolled her eyes.

"You can share mister sensitive! Isn't that right?" She asked Keegan as she scratched under his chin with a giggle. She looked over at Jeremiah with a grin as Ian groaned.

"I've been replaced! By a dragon no less!" He declared dramatically as Adelle rolled her eyes. She mouthed 'baby' to Jeremiah and sent him a wink.

Nina giggled, letting out a playful sigh, “I guess that means I’m stuck with ye forever, huh…?” She pouted, trying her hardest not to laugh but obviously it was an effort. It definitely wasn’t the worst sentence of her life…

Iggy couldn’t help but chuckle, kissing the top of her head and hugging her tight to him. “I love you too and I promise I’ll be back as soon as I can. If you feel you can’t lie to the kids let Kai tell them where I went and just agree. I don’t need their minds on that tonight…” He murmured, kissing the side of her head. He knew it was a lot to ask of her but he saw no other way for it all to end.

Kora smiled, “Of course ye can lass! Just let Karmen know and ye’ll be all set. Warnin’ ye though you’ll probably be eating a lot of Gwayne’s food for a while. ” She mused, nodding and giving her a small serving of what she pointed to. It was a pasta dish with cheese and veggies, a creamy sauce, and what looked like a kind of sausage. “This is called Ohfe. The sausage is kinda a lamb and beef mixture…” She told her with a small shrug.

Jeremiah chuckled, giving a small shrug as he watched Keegan nuzzle Adelle’s cheek with a playful growl as she scratched his chin. At least some dragons were obviously not the cold-hearted creatures human fairytales made them out to be. Keegan cracked an eye open as Brody and Namid came their way. Namid tried to nudge her son away but the cub was stubborn and bounded over to the group. Namid didn’t seem overly thrilled, plopping down beside Jeremiah as she watched Brody nuzzle against Adelle’s legs. “You seem to have quite the fan club….and I don’t think you’re much of an animal person, are ye?” Jeremiah mused, first to Adelle then to Ian, as he watched the animals react to couple and shook his head with a small grin.

((I hate finals…..))
