((Happy Thanksgiving Riddles! :) ))

Devin smiled as he looked over at Nina. "That meant your welcome right? And not 'oh you stupid foreigner! How dare you mock our language, I hope you suffer!'" He spoke up dramatically before laughing as she pulled him up. He gathered their leftovers before kissing the top of her head. "Yes Sparky, whatever you say Sparky." He teased her, ignoring the eyes on them.

((HAPPY THANKSGIVING NEVER!!!! :) ))

Nina giggled, "Yes silly, that means you're welcome...." she told him taking his hand in her's as they left the restaurant. She smiled as she saw their carriage, handing her bag to the footman before climbing in. She snuggled into Devin's side as the carriage started going, very happy to be with him. "So what do you want to learn the most??"

Devin just chuckled as he winked at her before squeezing her hand as she took his when they left. He hopped into the carriage after Nina handed her bags to the footman and helped her in. When she snuggled up into his side, he grinned as he wrapped his arms around her snugly. Kissing her quickly, he thought about her question. "Hmm... well the basics would be nice. You know like hello and goodbye, please thank you and all of that. And maybe I should learn the curse words. So you know I can go home and curse people like Haven out and they not even know." He teased.

Nina giggled, nudging him lightly. "Well...hello and goodbye are the same here. Ahway...." she told him, repeating it a few times for him. Along the ride she taught him some of the basics, knowing it was going to be a long road before he was anywhere near fluent. She giggled as he messed up from time to time but he seemed to have it somewhat in tact when they came to a stop at the jeweler's. She kissed his cheek with a giggle, "See? You're not completely hopeless....." she teased him lightly.

Devin nodded with a smile as he repeated it several times after she had. Having her teach him helped the ride go by faster that was for sure. When they arrived at the jewelers, he chuckled at her words. "I'm not hopeless now! Wait until I try to say phrases. I'll end up saying something stupid and embarassing! Like 'Hi! My name is Devin and I ate your red underwear!' or something to that effect." He jested with a grin as he tickled her sides lightly. He loved seeing her happy, and joking. it always made him feel happier.

Nina giggled as he tickled her, swatting at his hands playfully. "Devin!!!" She squealed with a shake of her head. She kissed the side of his head, smiling as the footman opened the door for them. "And you'll get the hand of it. Nadi...." she mused before getting up and hopping down onto the sidewalk. She smiled as she waited for her boy, waving to the shop girl through the window. She loved her boy so much and she knew Jesa would be able to help with finding a new chain for Devin.

Devin just laughed with a grin as she squealed and giggled, swatting at his hands. He hopped out of the carriage as he walked over to his girl and wrapped his arm around her, hugging her to his side as he kissed the top of her head. He couldn't be happier at the moment. He had his girl and she was on the mend. They had a house they were buying together and they had talked things through. It was perfect. The only thing that could make it more so was getting Iggy's permission and finally asking her to marry him.

Nina smiled, leading him into the shop as a very tiny girl, barely 4 feet in stature and stick thin, greeted them. "Ahway! What can I help you with today, Nina?" she asked, brushing off her dress as she led the couple over to the counter. If Devin looked hard enough, he'd see the faint shimmer in the girl's skin and strikingly amethyst eyes. She hopped up on a stool to take down the order, eying Devin curiously. "you're not like the others...." she observed, her voice high but pleasant like a windchime.

Nina smiled, "No...he's not...and I'd like two items, Jesa." she told her, to which the other girl's smile grew. "I need a lindre and a new chain for his pendant."

Jesa grinned, "I'll show you our selections of lindres in a moment." she looked back to Devin then, "Now...first I need your pendant and second I'm guessing you broke your old chain in a shift?" she mused, tucking her hair behind her slightly pointed ears.

Devin followed Nina into the store, not sure what to expect. Whatever it was, it definitely wasn't the gril behind the counter. She was so tiny! And she looked different. There was something in her eyes...

He smiled kindly at her as she said hello, following his girl towards the counter. When they got closer, he was able to get a good whiff. She even smelled different. What was she? When she asked about him, he nodded. "Shifters come in a different breed on Earth than the ones here." He explained. "No demon taint in us." When she asked for his pendent, he pulled it out of his pocket and offered it up to her. He nodded at her question as he chuckled. "Yea, unfortunately. I didn't mean to and I hope we can find a way to fix it." He admitted with a smile, noting her pointed ear. Seriously, what was she?!

Jess smiled as she took his pendant, nodding a bit. "Of course I can! Have some faith.....now I know this is an odd question but how big are you when you shift?" she asked curiously, the pendant looking big in her delicate hands. "What use is it if I reinforce it if it'll only choke you instead of snapping?" she mused, seeing the curiosity in his eyes and she giggled, figuring it'd be more fun to see how long it took him to ask her.
