Nina blushed with a light laugh, pushing her plate away. She'd eaten about half but it seemed to satisfy Iggy since he didn't comment. "I'm a little nervous to be honest... Kai says the market here is different...less selection. But Sheng says he knows of a few houses up for sale in the area we want so thats what we're seeing today. As for what we're looking for I want something simple...but enough room for guests or entertaining without feeling too cramped. Devin wants a good kitchen and a big yard..." she told them, giving a small smile and a shrug. It was either finding a place or when they came back they'd be boarding with Iggy and Sare. While she didn't mind at all.she didn't know how long the boys could stay under the same room...

Lily giggled with a nod, "We should...they're not even dressed yet!" She pointed out with a small grin, moving off of Sares lap so her aunt could go and do her hair. "Your hair is really pretty...." she added with a sweet smile as she twisted back and forth.

((Bryce's father just had a shit fit in my head...oww that hurt.....lmfao))

Kai laughed, leaning up and stealing a kiss because she could. "Have I ever mentioned how much I love it when you admit I'm right??" She teased with a grin before nodding. "Exactly....now come on. I took all those damn pill things like a big girl so lets go so I can steal a quick.bite before we head out..."

Ian listened with a nod, chuckling as he scratched his head. "Seems a little similar to what we do back on Earth. Do you know what your chances are to find a home with all of the items on your wishlist is?" He asked curiously as Devin shrugged as he sat back down next to his girl, taking her hand with his. He knew he'd be looking to Sheng a lot because he didn't know how things ran here. His cabin had been left to him by his parents, so he had never really had to go house hunting.

"Not even dressed yet?! They're a bunch of lazy bums! Silly boys!" Sare teased with a grin and a laugh as she sat up once Lily hopped off of her lap. Walking over to the vanity, she sat down and began to work on her hair as she heard Lily's compliment. "Awww, thank you baby girl! I have to say that your hair is just as pretty." She told her with a nod. Iggy's niece was absolutely adorable and she was going to be such a catch when she got older. Whatever man ended up with her would be truly lucky.

((Lol! Aww poor Riddles! Betta doesn't believe me, but I told her it could happen! Haha ))

Kyler made a face at her as she teased him before chuckling. "Alright then, come along piggy." He teased her with a grin as he kept one arm around her and led her out of the room towards the stairs and kitchen. Had to admit that he was starving. Food sounded really good.

Nina smiled a bit, giving Devin's hand a small squeeze. "I dont think it's too long of a list...where we're looking the yard won't be a problem but the size and kitchen might. Houses here are rarely in between really big or really small...I'm sure there's something though..." she shrugged lightly, already thinking of different things they'd have to order from the carpenter and such. It was probably a good thing they wouldn't be back there right away even if they found their house today.

Lily just smiled with a blush but it was hidden beneath her tanned cheeks. "Thank you...umm Sare?" She asked, her voice quiet then, "Where are we gonna live in your world?" She asked, suddenly a little nervous now that the move was so close. "I mean...are there other kids in your town?" She added, hoping she wouldn't be made fun of by the other kids like she was here. It wasn't her fault she came to school in the same clothes or with dirty hair....

Kai laughed as she led him downstairs, "Yep thats me!!" She teased as they walked into the kitchen as Iggy left to coax Jeremiah off the couch and into the bedroom to change. "Morning...." she smiled, looking to the reunited couple with a small laugh. "I see you two have settled in..." she teased as she peeled what looked like an orange yet the insides were bright red.

Ian nodded as he smiled. "Well the best of luck to you two. You should have a house warming party when you settle in." He winked playfully at her. "It will be a lot of fun." He teased as Adelle rolled her eyes.

"You and parties. You know some people don't like to party all of the time." She pointed out to him as he pouted.

"It was only a suggestion! And it would only be close friends."

"It's not your house! Just let them do what they want." Adelle scolded him as she looked back to Nina and Devin with an apologetic smile.

Sare quickly finished braiding her hair as she looked over at Lily with a smile. "What is it baby girl?" She asked her her before listening. "Well I don't have a house, so we'll be living with Kai and Kyler. When we get there, Iggy and I will be looking for a house. Would you like to help? And there are plenty of kids for you to play with! And I promise you that they'll all love you. I know there's one in particular that is very excited to meet you." She told her. "His name is Erik. He's really close to Nina and Devin. He's only two years younger than you, but he's excited for you to arrive." She assured her. She didn't want her to feel scared or nervous.

Kyler followed her into the kitchen, nodding his head to both couples with a smile.

"Beautiful! Good morning to you. We do seem to have settled in huh?" Ian grinned over at Kai before tightening his arms around Adelle.

"Good morning Kai and Kyler. Did you sleep well?" She asked with a smile.

Nina smiled but tilted her head curiously, "i've never heard of something like that but it sounds kind of fun actually..." She admitted with a small shrug, looking up to Kai as she spoke.

"I slept well....I think we both did." Kai mused as she munched on her food. "Mhmmmm, I was thinking Ky and I would take you two into town for lynch. I know we went to Gwayne's last night but I figured we'd walk around for a bit then let the guys have some real meat." She added before looking to Ian, "no wandering off....."

Lily gave her a sweet, small smile as she nodded, "That sounds like fun...but what's their house like? And are you sure he'll like me? I mean....everyone says that but....what is school like by you? You have books there...right?" She asked her as she continued to twist. "Girls can go to school....right?"

"Ha! See! She thinks it's a good idea!" Ian pointed out to Adelle with a grin as his wife rolled her eyes. "And it doesn't have to be big. Just all of us, and whoever else you want over. It's fun with friends. Helps you feel more moved in." He explained as Adelle placed her hand over her husband's mouth to get him to shut up. He merely licked her hand as she squealed and made a face as she wiped her hand on his shoulder.

"Ass." She muttered as she looked to Kai and Kyler with a smile. "I'm glad you both got some sleep. And Gwayne's sounds good to me. Maybe I can get some rabbit to go so I can eat it here." She blushed.

Ian laughed before pouting at Kai's words. "Aww! No exploring for Ian?" He asked.

"He lives in a two-story house made of brick. It's got plenty of rooms. There's an extra room upstairs, and one downstairs if you want to have your own room you don't want to share with Jeremiah." Sare offered with a smile as she kissed her cheek with a chuckle. "I'm positive. He's one of the nicest boys ever! And school is... interesting. It's broken up into years so you stay with kids your age and you learn all sorts of things. Like English, Math, History, and Science. And you'll have P.E., Art, Music. Oh! You and Jeremiah will go to different schools since he's older than you. And yep! We have tons of books! My brother in law owns a bookstore and I'm sure he'll lend you some. And of course girls can go to school! They can teach it too! Actually, I would love you to meet Suni. She's a teacher, and I think she would love to teach you." She offered.

"You go exploring on your own you're gonna get snatched up in a patrol....or engage panic..." she told him honestly with a shrug, Nina stepping in then.

"What miss sensitive means is the shifters of Nox send off a similar aura as you. They're....horrible beings. Devin saw one last night..." She added, avoiding Kai's glance her way. She knew she was still kind of in trouble for storming off but at least it had worked out in the end...

Lily nodded with a small giggle before shrugging a bit, "But...I speak English kinda good...I'm not as good at reading." She paused, eyebrows furrowed a bit, "Science? Math? That stuff makes my head ache...I've never really gone to school a lot at a time so I'm behind even for here..." she added, looking nervous and excited at the same time. "But I do wanna meet everyone....especially Erik....I just don't wanna be picked on cause I'm...oh the words.." she scrunched her nose in concentration, "different!" She finally got out with a sigh, scuffing her feet. "Jeremiah always tried and all but kids here still poked fun because my hair was dirty, or I wore the same clothes too often, or fell asleep in class...." she trailed off with a shrug as she looked down at her feet. She was obviously a very bright girl, and she loved reading and learning but the idea of going to a new school where she'd really be different and new...

"Yea dude... you don't want to be associated with them at all. Sucks, but it's better than the alternative." Devin offered him a shrug as he leaned over and kissed Nina's cheek.

"So you have all of this free, amazing land and you can't explore it? How do you stand living here?" Ian asked them incredulously. To have to constantly worry and stay safely within city confines would drive him wild. He needed room to roam.

"Then I think meeting Suni would be wonderful for you! She could tutor you. Help you catch up to your grade level." Sare offered her a smile. When she talked about being picked on, she pulled her into a hug. "I'm not going to lie, baby girl. You're always going to have your bullies wherever you go. You're going to have one or two people who will tease you for being different. For the most part, however, everyone is going to love you. They'll see how sweet and funny you are and you'll have so many friends, you won't know what to do with them all!" She told her with a smile.

kai couldn't help but laugh, "We're used to it to be completely honest. We've been taught since we were little not to go out on our own at night, in the winter especially. During spring and summer its better because there's more daylight and even at night the line between our world and Nox is the strongest. Skills on how to fight, whether bending, archery, blades...its all integrated into the school curriculium goddess forbod we're found in a bad situation."

"Kai was just an oddball who crashed the boys' classes..." Nina teased, Kai laughing and shrugging in responce.

"Ehhh they were more intense....anyway you guys haven't learned how to fight them. Whether Malvagio or demon each one is different. Therefore you aren't equipt to travel these lands alone. Not only could a Guardian mistake you as a threat but a shifter could mistake you as a traitor." Kai added with another shrug as she finished her fruit, Nina speaking then.

"Its another reason Devin and I are looking for a property with a lot of land so he can shift when he needs to...only real restriction is you guys can't hunt here." She paused, thinking it over for a moment, "Its kinda like how you guys have to be wary about what you say around humans, or how the kids will have to cover they're markings while they're in the big city. Its all for safety..."

Lily smiled a little at the idea of someone helping her catch up so she wouldn't be so far behind, nodding as Sare reassureed her. "Okay...I really hope you're right..." She said with a small sigh, hugging her new aunt back before stepping back a little. it was obvious that she had relaxed a bit because of the talk. She was still nervous but she figured that wouldn't end until she actually got to earth.

"I mean... I guess that makes sense, and I understand a little more... but..." Ian sighed as he shook his head. "I don't think I could live like that. Great for you guys that you can, but I never could." He admitted as he smiled over at them. He loved the small town he lived in. Where everybody knew who and what you were, you could shift and run wherever you wanted. Forests, rivers, lakes, mountains. They had beautiful, amazing territory that he could explore to his hearts content without worry.

"So there's a distinction between men and women here?" He asked curiously, catching them talking about the different classes where they separated them.

"It's not that hard to believe." Adelle pointed out to him quietly as Ian frowned darkly at the reminder of his wife's family. He refused to think about them and how she lived before he met her.

Sare nodded with a smile as she stood up then, taking her new niece's hand. "It'll be okay, you'll see. Now come on, smile baby girl! We'll go get the icky boys and have a fun day at the market. Sound fun?" She asked with a smile.
