Keira blinked at her friend, stepping towards her. "What do you mean another day?! Aeryn....I can do this. If Syd doesn't report to Trevor and soon..." she shook her head, "I've already been the cause of one ruined life I don't need to be the cause of another." She hissed, running a hand through her hair. "Aeryn...please. This needs to end."

Daniel laughed, "I don't know what your issue is but she was a sweetheart before...." he mused with a grin. He thought about his answer for a moment. "I...well I don't have a category persay. I'm kinda a spiderman mixed with the reflexes of the matrix mixed in." he shrugged a bit, "Superhuman reflexes is my game..." he smiled. "How are adjusting?" he added, tilting his head a bit.

"With Daniel back, you're not emotionally ready to handle what's to come tomorrow. You're too thrown off balance. It could jeopardize everything. And I refuse to have you hurt." Aeryn told her friend stubbornly. "I agree it needs to end, but not tomorrow."

"Yea dude well... if you find out why, wanna clue me in too? Becuase, I don't have a fucking idea." Ben grinned back. "That... sounds way freaking cool to be honest. Cooler than my power that is." he shrugged. He was thinking about how those reflexes seriously would have helped his game. "And okay I guess? I mean, I haven't seriously flipped out too much. Damien and Kiera have been really patient and understanding for the most part. I really appreciate it."

Keira set her jaw, "If anything having Daniel here gives me more of a reason to kill the bastard. It gives me more of a reason to fight. Aeryn if she doesn't report to Trevor he will come after her and if I know him as well as I think I do he has already begun his research on you and Ben..." her eyes were pleading with her best friend, "Please, Snow...I can do this. I'm ready to do this. Please let me finish this like we planned."

Daniel (not Damien) nodded with a small shrug, "Sounds like you're doing really well from what I've heard. Better than most I've heard of anyway. You wouldn't believe the shit people tried to pull off when going off the grid... Now, Keira said you play baseball? What position?" he asked him. The last thing he wanted was rough feelings and tension between himself and the kid. Everything would bubble over eventually, he feared, but that was for another time.

"And I'm serious, Key." Aeryn's jaw set just as stubbornly as Kiera's as she stared down her best friend. "I'll not have your life put in more danger just for you to prove a point. You're already in enough danger as it is."

"Yea... well I still make mistakes. Just ask my poor phone Kiera destroyed." Ben gave a wry smile. "Yea... I was short stop. I was pretty good, not to sound conceited or anything." he shrugged. Considering he got a full-ride scholarship? He had to be good. He competed with a lot of people for that spot. "I admit, my whole life I lived and breathed the sport. One of those fanatics I guess." he smiled sheepishly. He almost sort of wanted to hate Daniel.Which was stupid. What made he feel even worst is that he sort of wished the guy had stayed dead. But he couldn't hate him. He was a nice guy.

"But while you're protecting my ass everyone else is in danger because I exists!" Keira reminded her, returning Aeryn's stare. "I'm not out to prove a point. I'm out to protect the people I care about and like it or not, Snow, you are one of those people. I'm tired of looking over my shoulder. I'm tired of not being able to get a full nights rest without being sloshed or exhausted."

Daniel nodded with a shrug, "Everyone makes mistakes. Just gotta learn how to roll with them." he mused with a small grin, "Ahh...I was a third baseman till football took over my life my junior year of high school. I understand what it means for a sport to litterally become a part of your life. It's probably the hardest thing to give up. And pretty good? Key tells me you got a full ride out of it...thats a hell of a lot better than just pretty good." he nodded in understanding.

"That may be so, but we know how to take care of ourselves. And it's too soon! I know how you get when you get a big surprise, this is going to be on your mind and distract you. You're not going to be at the top of your game tomorrow, Key. And that means the difference between life and death. I'm not going to lose you. It's cold, but I'd rather see Sydney get injured and die over you."

"Third basmen? Dude, that's a pretty tight position. I've played it a couple of times." Ben smiled, relaxing a little with the sports talk. He looked embarassed as Daniel told him about the scholarship. "I admit I worked my ass off for that position." he told him. "Football huh? What position did you play there?" he asked.

"And I'd rather just take the problem out." Keira grumbled, knowing inwardly she was getting nowhere fast. She rubbed her forehead in aggravation. "Three things and I don't want an argument. Got it. Good. Your staying here tonight and until Trevor is dead. It's done so don't even bother. I don't need Damien tied in knots again and running on two hours of sleep." she looked pointedly at her best friend, hands on her hips, her voice almost cold. "The other is getting Damien over here and soon. He has a right to know his brother is here and he and Syd need to know the plan is delayed. Once they're here I want to hammer out a new plan. I don't care if God himself comes a knockin we're going through with it."

Daniel chuckled, "I don't look like much now but I was a halfback..." he mused with a small shrug. "I started as a QB but I found out my reflexes were much more useful catching and dodging tackles." he laughed softly, looking back to Ben. "Frankly I liked baseball better but once football gets its nails in you it's kind of hard to walk away..."

Aeryn felt her temper rising and quickly tamped it down because in the end it would only harm her friend if she let it out. That main reason was probably the only reason she could keep her fiery temper under taps. God dammit! She didn't want to stay here tonight. There would be so many people and shitty emotions. She wanted the peace and quiet of her apartment. In the end, she knew that agreeing with it was the only way to get Key to not go on with tomorrow's plans. "Fine." She ground out, not looking happy. "But I'm sleeping out on the balcony."

Ben laughed as he looked Daniel up and down. "It is pretty hard to believe right now." He told the man. "And I believe it. Don't you Southerners worship football or something? It's like... the religion down there." He teased.

Daniel cracked up laughing with a nod, "Yeah....I'm a fucking stick figure with abs." he shook his head before looking back to Ben, "That's putting it lightly. It's not even the NFL for the real obsession. That's college level." He smirked.

Keira rolled her eyes; she just had to be difficult. "Fine. As long as you don't sneak off." She warned her, internally grateful shed agreed to stay. Damien needed to sleep, even if he wouldn't admit Aeryn was the source of it. She paused, giving her friend a quick hug. "Thank you." She walked back over to the boys then, working up a small grin as she leaned on the back of the couch. "So what are you two gabbering on about??"

Aeryn rolled her eyes too. "Whatever mom. I'm not fucking sneaking off." She muttered, pausing and sighing as Kiera gave her a hug. To this day, that girl was the only one allowed to get away with that. Grumbling she stomped off to the kitchen to find something to snack on since she missed lunch. She should have grabbed something for herself when she got Daniel a sub.

Ben laughed as he shooked his head, sadly liking this guy more and more. He seemed to be so easy going and laid back. When Kiera walked up, he offered her a smile. "Hey Belle. We were just discussing you Southerner's unhealthy obsession with college football."
