Keira didnt look overly convinced but let it slide for the moment. "What exactly have you been doing? I mean....you know you're always welcome but you've never taken the offer up..." she told her. She was acting weird, like weirder than normal. She knew Aeryn wasn't comfortable in the other apartment but she wasnt expecting to find her here.

Daniel listened carefully, now regretting his choice in position. It killed him to hide from her but he had no choice it seemed.

Aeryn was relieved when Kiera dropped it, but didn't let it show. "I just needed a place to relax that was quiet and stuff." Aery shrugged. "Its been a really weird past couple of days and I needed time to think." She told her friend. That actually wasn't a lie. "This seemed like the best place since my place is occupied right now. How's Sydney's training going?" She asked her.

Keira nodded, "It has been...." she shook her head with a small shrug. Something was still bugging her, maybe it was just that she hoped to havr the apartment to herself. She looked back over her shoulder, narrowing her eyes a little. She just had tgis creeping feeling someone was watching them. She slowly turned back to Aeryn, "How are you feeling now?? And its going alright as far as Sydney goes....she had training but it wasnt as...refined i guess...."

When she turned and looked at the shower, Aeryn wanted to strangle her friend. Damn it, Kiera! Stop being difficult. She just looked nonchalant instead. "I'm doing a little better. Don't have that aweful headache anymore." She informed her. She nodded at Sydney's progress. "I think I might stay here though. At least until they're done with practice... and you have Game of Thrones on your TV." She pointed out with a tiny smile.

Keira nodded, returning the small smile. She idly played with a small flower in the vase on the counter. It wove its way through her fingers as she spoke. Who needed a home security system? "Well alright....i guess we'll get going then. Im glad you're feeling better. She started out to the living room but paused, looking back to her friend, eyebrow a little furrowed as the flower unraveled from her fingers. "Aeryn....."

Daniel cursed mentally, he'd forgotten about that part of her gift. He knew he should've disposed of the flower....he only hoped the flower was tiny enough it hadnt gotten a lot. In fact it hadn't, only knowing there had been a tall male human in the bathroom because his shadow blocked the sun.

Aeryn watched her play with the smile, and moved so her friend could leave. "Yea?" She asked, holding her breath again. Oh god... she had a feeling she couldn't lie her way through this one. Plants didn't lie. And if it told her the right thing. Did life hate her or something?

"Where is he?" She asked rather curtly. "There was another guy in here after ben and i left. Aeryn please dont lie to me...I have enough on my mind..." she bit her lip, she hadn't meant for the second part to come out. "Snow what the blazes is goin on...?" She asked, ignoring the other point she'd made. Last thing she needed was Aeryn thinking, once again, she was unfit for the following night.

She shook her head and walked to her room before Aeryn could answer her though. She riffled through her closet for another, less revealing, shirt as she waited for an answer. It was her version of fidgeting for the moment.

Aeryn cursed as she stared at her friend. She wasn't going to be able to do this tomorrow. They were going to have to call the plans off. When Kiera left, she opened the shower curtain and nodded her head for him to follow her. Walking up to Kiera's door, she knocked gently on the frame since it was already open. "Before I say anything, you have to understand the reasoning behind my actions. Why I do what I do. I... ran into somebody on my walk, Key. I didn't know at the time... but you might recognize him at first glance." She nodded her head to Daniel so Kiera could see who she was talking about. "I was going to tell you as soon as all this mess was over tomorrow. You and Damien both."

Daniel nodded, leaving his stuff in the tub as he followed her. Keira turned around, a simple blue shirt in her hand as Aeryn spoke. She raised an eyebrow but once Daniel stepped around Aeryn it started to click. The shirt fell to the floor as she just stared at the guy in front of her.

He gave her a small but genuine smile, "Hey kitten...." he said softly, shrugging a little. "When Aeryn told me what was going on I agreed my escape didn't have the best timing. I was going to see you tomorrow...it killed me to do so. To have to stay away from both of you bu-" he let out a puff of air as she nearly tackled him, burying her face in his shirt without a word. After a moment she stood back a little, looking between them with tear rimmed eyes.

"I don't appreciate being duped or lied to...I guess I'll understand better once this sets in...So for now, I suppose I'll just say thank you. " she didn't sound upset, just really confused. She looked back up at Daniel finally, jumping up and wrapping her arms around his neck. "Daniel...I'm just so happy you're back with us...." she pulled back and frowned a little, "What have they done to you....??" she said with a small gasp as she took in his eyes, the light spotting on his skin. "Oh Daniel...."

Aeryn just shrugged as she stepped to the side. She wasn't happy with the results of things right now. But she wasn't going to say anything. She heard commotion in the hallway. Looking over she saw Ben walking up. Great. More drama.

Ben had heard the other voice and frowned. What was going on? Walking up and saw Kiera hugging some guy. Scratching his head, he frowned. "Am I the only one in the awkward third party who has no idea of what's going on?" He asked.
