Ben gave her a faint smile as she kissed his cheek, still not liking this. Sighing, he ran his hand over his shaved head as he thought about it. "Try picturing it in your head. Let's try it that way." he told her as he wrapped his arm around her waist. Now... how to make this work. Looking inside of him for the power, he grabbed at it like he usually did. Instead of applying it to what was in his head, he tried reaching it outside of him and including Kiera into the mix. He put all of the power on Kiera, and he felt it working. Soon enough, he opened his eyes to find them standing in a really tiny apartment that looked a bit dingy. One thing that could be said about it, however, was that it smelled really good.

Keira nodded, dragging the image of Aeryn's apartment to the front of her mind. It was a little hard, having only been there a few times, but she felt the ground rip from under her. She smiled as she looked around the small apartment. "You did it!" She gave Ben a smile before heading into the kitchen, turning the stove on, and letting the dish continue to simmer. She looked back over to Ben with a small smile as she walked back over. "They'll be up soon....." she assured him, taking his habd. She knew he was still unsure about the whole thing, but he was trying. She took the vial out of her pocket, making sure it was still intact.

Adam shrugged one shoulder as he pulled the car into an alleyway and got out. He pulled out his sidearm, clicking the safety off as he waited for Ysabel. They were close enough that they could hear the yelling and the occasional gunshot. This could be more fun than it looked if they were the only ones on the scene. "Come on," he said to her as he started walking. He kept close to the wall, gun at the ready.

Sydney watched as Damien disappeared into an alleyway. She heard him give up whatever was in his stomach, then watched as Aeryn followed. She stopped walking and waited for them, wondering if they were secretly together. Kind of had that feel to it. Egh. She hoped she wasn't agreeing to some kind of emotionally run love fest here.... when people got close, they did stupider things than normal.

When they appeared again she pushed off the wall and walked over. "Everything okay?" she asked, glancing at Damien, then Aeryn. "There's some kind of commotion going on just down the street but...as long as your apartment building is that one," she nodded to one not caught in the action, "Then we should be okay. A cop car just pulled into that alleyway...but I think they're here for whatever's going on down there. I don't think they have time to bother us."

Damien looked to Sydney with a nod, "Yeah, everything's fine...." he looked over at the commotion with some interest, noting Adam's faint presence. Joy of freaking joys. "Yeah, she lives here...and Adam is going to be too busy and happy beating someone's ass to rightly care." He assured her, leading the girls up into the apartment building. Never having been to Aeryn's apartment himself, he mentally called out to Keira briefly before heading up the stairs.

Keira, placing the vial on the counter, opened the door for them with a smile, going to hug Aeryn but froze when she saw Sydney. As Damien tried explaitning what was going on, her somewhat cheerful expression died on her lips. Before she could start, however, Damien had his arms around her. "Keira..." He warned her, feeling her rage at the other girl mount.

"Oh go rinse your mouth..." She snapped, wrinkling her nose before breaking from his grip. Well now they were even. Aeryn didn't like who she brought home, and she sure as hell didn't like who they'd brought home. She knew a relative of that stalker could cause nothing but grief. "Your stuff is on the counter. Food will be ready in five." She added bluntly, blue eyes flashing with aggrivation. After last night she didn't need to blow up again. Damien sighed, shaking his head a bit before heading to the bathroom to rinse the foul taste from his mouth. Keira contained herself for the moment, looking back to Aeryn with a small, if not forced smile. She was glad her friend was okay....

She forced herself to look to the other girl, this smile definitely forced, "Sydney, right?"

Ysabel exited the car not much later after Adam had, gun already into position, safety off. Her joking, happy self was gone. And in that place was serious, cop Ysabel. She nodded her head to Adam as she took rear, prepping herself for whatever they may possible find. She could feel the adrenaline pumping faster and faster in her blood at the sound of each gun-shot, and it made her senses go on high alert.

Aeryn just nodded as she led them into her apartment, sadly used to the sound of gun shots around here. It made her miss her gun. She vaguely wondered if it was her gun being show right now. Good thing it wasn't in her name so they couldn't trace the bullets and what not back to her. She headed up the stairs, and opened the door to find Kiera and Ben already there.

Ben was hanging out towards the back, and she gave him a disgusted look which he pointedly ignored. She looked back over at Kiera and watched the happy expression on her face die at the sight of Sydney. What was it that Kiera told her? To get over it because they were all in it together now? Funny, how things work out.

Sliding her way into her apartment, she waited for the drama to die down as she pulled out a crappy looking chair and sat down. "Make yourselves comfortable." she said, and that was that. She could smell food cooking in her kitchen and it made her shake her head. It was probably one of the few times her stove top would ever be used. Since she didn't cook at all.

Ben watched Kiera look unhappily at the girl... hey wasn't that the waitress from last night? Man, he was freaking confused. If so, why did Aeryn bring her to her apartment? And why was Kiera so mad? And he had all of these questions building up in his head that he wanted to ask. Instead, he squelched them down as he walked over to Kiera. Not quite sure what to do, so he didn't do anything.

Keira knew Aeryn well enough to see the irony in the situation only there was a big difference between the twat standing in front of her and Ben. He wasn't planning on ratting her out to the one guy who had beaten her half to death. She was. Keira knew she could trust Ben, this Sydney, however, she didn't trust her anymore than she trusted a hungry bear. She didn't know what they were planning, but she had a sickening feeling she wasn't going to like it.

Keira glanced back briefly to see Ben walking towards her, hating the confrontation as usual. She turned her head back to the other girl then, "Hope y'all don't mind chili." and with that she headed back into the kitchen as Damien reemerged.

"Keira..." He frowned as she didn't answer him, focusing on getting bowls out of the cabinet. "Key..."

"Whatever you have planned....it better fuckin' work." and with that the conversation portion died. She handed him a glass of water, barely noting how pale he was. He sighed with a nod, opening the vial then and taking two of the pills within. Screw advil....he visibly relaxed as his head finally cleared, leaning on the wall by Aeryn.

Adam led Ysabel out of the alleyway....but not before he just so happened to glance across the street. He'd recognize Shea and that red-head anywhere. His eyes followed them inside and he recognized the building as well... the red-head lived here. Must be some sort of super secret mutant meeting going on. He shook his head head; maybe they'd drop in after all this settled down.

Getting his head back in the moment, he looked down the street to see at least four bodies on the ground. He sighed. Fucking idiots. He glanced back at Ysabel and directed her with his eyes to a position directly across from him. That way, they'd be on both sides and not bunched up if they decided to run.

Sydney didn't need her powers to understand the feelings in the tiny apartment. It was small enough that it pressed down on them like two sides of a damn sandwich.

She looked to Keira as she shut the door behind her. "Yeah, it's Sydney." She figured a little calming spray wouldn't hurt in this situation. So, she focused on a calm feeling and spread it through the room, trying to keep the anger from mounting into something they'd all regret. She elected to remain standing near the door though, just in case Miss Fly off the Handle decided to invoke her namesake. She glanced to Ben recognizing him as the boy Keira'd been out with the night prior. Oh God. She was getting into some kind of love fest. She felt her stomach turn. These people were going to be dumber than usual.....

Aeryn waited for everyone to get in and for the door to shut. Once Damien was back out from the bathroom she looked around. Before she could say anything, she just felt this... calm feeling. It... irritated her. Why did she feel so calm!? Eurgh. Frowning she cleared her throat.

"Kiera?" she asked her friend. "I know you don't like Sydney, but she's going to work with us to bring Trevor down. She likes him just about as much as we do." she told her as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I want to know, is would you agree to be bait? You wouldn't have to be here for long. Your boy toy can teleport your ass out before the asshole can get a hold of you." she explained to her friend. She didn't care if Kiera didn't like Sydney. The girl would keep her end of the bargain. Aeryn made a good choice.

Ysabel's eyes caught everything. From the people walking down the street casually despite the sound of shooting, to the bodies on the ground. Looking up, she caught the flicker of Adam's eyes. Giving a discreet nod, she took cover behind the opposite wall that he had directed behind. Looking over she made a signal with her hand. She was moving forward. Moving forward warily, she kept close to the wall, gun in front of her. She'd stop every now and then, moving forward at a creeping pace.

Keira wanted to snap at Aeryn but...suddenly she couldn't. She rubbed her palm against her head as she listened to the question, "Yes I will be bait but no I'm not leaving." She told her bluntly before looking up, her hands resting on her hips. She saw Damien start to object but she shot him down, "He is my issue. Not yours. He wants to come get me. Let him. I'm not scared. I'm pissed." She added, grinding her teeth a little as she spoke.

"Keira. He knows you inside and out...I do-"

"He also knows you inside and out so maybe you should leave too. Family knows best." She snapped, ignoring the look he shot her. "I know how to fight him. I know how to block him. I know how to break him. Little miss calming incense over there doesn't know half of what he's capable of." She added with a shrug, fidgeting with her belt loops. "What exactly is this plan?" She didn't care if Aeryn got annoyed with her. She was still ticked she'd stormed out the night before and no one had heard from her. The redhead may have been her best friend, but she could be really dense.
