Keira thought it over, "Nope I'm all set and as long as Carol filled you in on what we're heading into I think we're fine." She told him, her voice a little flat. She knew she'd be better once she'd gotten to the meet. Once she saw Sean and he wasn't just some ghost haunting her. Honestly she wished she could end this encounter the same way Damien had ended Trevor but things didn't work that way....at least not yet. Jason nodded, "The munkins are silwy." He told Ben simply with a small smile before focusing on the dump truck in his hand. Kendra smiled as she finished up, "Well then everyone to the living room and get comfy. I'll be in in a minute to finish setting everything thing up." She assured them, nudging her sister a little bit. Sparrow took the hint with a small nod, going over to Violet then as Ben was dragged into the other room by Jason. "Come on Vi...." she smiled sweetly and led the other girl into the living room. Kendra let out a soft sigh once they were out of ear shot. "Oh hell this is going to be a long day...." she sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose and quietly filled Ren in on what was going on as so far as the children. She was obviously pissed off but she had to squash it. It would only incite panic. |

"I think she told me everything I need to so we're ready to go." Damien mused as he leaned back in his seat and ran his hand over his face. Well, it was a good thing that he had a fantastic night's sleep last night with Mira because today was going to be a long day. He noted the tone in her voice, but chalked it up to the fact that she was about to go do something extremely distasteful. He didn't blame her one damned bit. "So tell me a story, O'Connor. It'll make the time go by and you sound like you need a brief distraction. You just might explode before we get there." Ren watched as his best friend was dragged out of the room by the little boy before turning to Kendra once the kids were out of earshot. He nodded as she filled him in on what was going on, a dark frown filtering across his features before disappearing. Leaning over, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to him. "We'll figure it out. Just one step at a time, alright?" He asked her as he kissed her quickly and sweetly. It was more that he had to keep an eye on but he could do it. |

Keira nodded, hoping that would've ended the communication for the moment only for him to start talking again. "What you wanna hear, sunshine? Maybe something of the Mira persuasion?" She mused, her voice yet slightly amused. They may not have been so open as herself and Ben but she knew the young woman well enough to see the happy difference in her. Kendra smiled a little at his kiss, giving him a small nod, "I want your focus mainly on Ben. Make sure he doesn't wind up in the fetal position. As long as the kids are always accompanied by someone older than them to go somewhere it should all be fine." She told him honestly. She leaned over and stole one more kiss before finally standing, tugging on his hand gently. "Come on wolfie...." |

Damien smiled faintly, having to correct something on the computer screen again before leaning back to relax. "Sure, sounds good. I've heard some things about her not being little miss goody goody." He mused, flicking his hair out of his eyes. "Of course, but I'm here to offer help when I can. And by the time I'm done with Ben, this won't be an issue. It's time he toughen up a little and get with the program. Somebody can't always watch him and it's just all around beneficial if we can get him some training and find him a niche around here." He told her before allowing her to lead him into the living room. No, by the time Keira came back, she was going to see a noticable difference. |

Keira faintly smiled before going on about a time she'd caught Mira sneaking back into the house one night on a return stay from college looking like a hot mess and heels in hand. How Mira had bribed her into staying quiet by taking a then very underage Keira to see Kendra perform the next night at a local club. After all, she was the angel child according to her parents....she didn't need them finding a reason to keep her from returning to NY. By the time Keira finished Damien would hear the engine slow and then finally die. "Hell sweet hell....any final instructions?" She asked him and though her voice was calm Damien could see her stress levels rise a bit. Kendra smiled with a small nod at his words before plopping down on the couch with him and the boys; the girls on the other end of the "L" talking about something. She leaned over and set the tv up as well as dimming the lights a little. As the movie started she couldn't resist curling into Ren's side. "Now remember, Jay, if it gets too scary you let me know, okay?" Jason nodded absently, eyes glued to the television screen as he sat between Ben and the arm of the couch. Kendra knew Ren could handle Ben until Keira came back and he was right about toughening him up a bit. From what she'd seen Keira was one hell of an asset and would probably be in the field constantly. |

Damien had an amused smile on his face as he listened to Keira talk about Mira, chuckling quietly as the tiny blonde bribed Mira to take her with her to see Kendra preform in return for silence. It was all really amusing. He checked the GPS to see that she had arrived at her destination, her words confirming it. "Nothing I can think of. Pretty sure you know what to do. Just remember to relax yet stay on your guard. Hopefully it will be over soon; an in and out." He offered up, leaning forward as they soon got down to business. Ren smiled as Kendra curled into him, and he wrapped his arm around her comfortably as he looked to the screen. He looked over briefly at Ben who had his eyes on the screen. Looking to the screen himself, he went over in his head the plans he had for his friend the next couple of day and how he was going to keep him out of comman and from freaking out. |

Keira listened as she stepped out of the car, "Trust me I don't trust the fleabag anymore than I trust a racoon with rabies." She told him simply as she walked around the car and approached the building. It looked like a slightly rundown brownstone with a sign out front with the restaurant's name. Once she was inside, however, the whole atmosphere changed. It was like a time capsule; a perfectly preserved speakeasy. She looked around but she didn't have to look long. Over by the bar sat a young man in his mid twenties sipping idly at a drink. Everyone seemed to be mulling around, casually talking to one another but Keira knew better. If she so much as smacked the asshole she'd have ten of his brainwashed minions on her. "Kitty...." He mused with a nearly perfect grin, standing to greet her only for Keira to walk past him and sit on an empty bar stool. "Now. Is that anyway to greet an old lover offering condolences?" He added, sounding both irritated and amused. "Brainwashing someone isn't love and there's more than you wanting to offer condolences for Daniel's death as to why I'm here." She told him flatly, her careful eyes catching the sudden tension in the room. So far so good but she didn't know how long she could keep it up. Damien was waiting with Aeryn in the den while Tyler wrapped something up with Hillary downstairs. They were heading back soon, and yet he'd still barely said a word to Aeryn. To be honest his head was killing him with everything he was blocking; thoughts and emotions. He was pissed beyond belief but he'd be needed later to help with questioning so he was more than willing to help. The sooner they cleaned house the better. |

Damien kept his snort to himself as he stayed silent on his end. Keira needed to focus on what was about to happen, not on him. He checked over her vitals as he heard the male voice speak, making sure everything was working fine. He noticed a small rise, but he took it for Keira finally laying eyes on Sean. He knew this first meeting would be crucial and he hoped that it went smoothly. Aeryn was sitting by herself on a chair, arms crossed over her chest as she waited for impatiently for Tyler to join them. She had yet to say a word to Damien and she didn't have plans to. She had considered it briefly, but she wondered what good it would do her. She knew she was being childish and irrational but she didn't care, she was just in a pissy mood and everyone else could get over it. Everyone from what she had heard was having a god awful day so why should she add to it with her own issues? She'd just wait for Tyler get her, they would head to the house, she would get Eliot and Eleria, then come back and she'd wander off on her own. There was a lot of shit going on and she didn't want to be underfoot. ((You can't stay mad forever! *grumbles* You're always so angryyy! *coughbitchcough*)) Edited by never_fade_away, Mar 22 2013, 05:53 PM.

((SO sorry this took so long…and umm…I have a distraction for Ben ….O.o)) ((Sean: http://www.istockphoto.com/stock-photo-23890725-frowning-young-man-looking-at-camera-arms-crossed.php?st=c0334cb )) Sean chuckled, waving his hand idly and the tension left the room as he sat down beside her. “Ahh. See this is what I missed about you Kitty….” He mused, chuckling again as she made a face at his thumb running over her cheek. “Always straight to the point…” “Keep your goddamn hands to yourself.” She snarled, ignoring the drink the bartender set down for her despite the wonderful aroma drifting from it. Lotis blossom gin was Sean’s specialty and she wasn’t having it. “Give it an hour or so….you won’t feel that way.” Sean reminded her with a startlingly attractive smile that made even straight men question themselves. Keira felt her stomach drop; he was a lot more powerful than she remembered… “Do you have this mystical intel or not?” She asked then with a haughty sigh, trying to keep a level head. She had to remember the reason she was here…why she had to make it through. “Depends…what’s your flavor Kitty?” He asked, tilting his head a bit and Keira knew he was trying to read her. “Don’t play games with me, Sean.” She told him coldly, “You’re not the only one who’s changed.” She added, which piqued his interest enough that she felt his hold on her lessen a little. “Don’t tell me my Kitty has turned into a tiger….” He teased her with a smirk but before he could lean over again to touch her knee he suddenly found himself attached rather painfully to the wall by a vine that had crept through a crack in the wall. “I said. Don’t touch me.” She repeated slowly, standing then as he glared at her from his spot on the wall. “You gonna answer my question or I can just let it get tighter…” She mused, waving a hand dismissively and the vine coiled like a boa around his neck. She felt all eyes on her, as if waiting on a cue to attack, but her eyes were firmly locked with Sean’s as she waited for his answer. She knew this was a major risk to take but it was better than his hands all over her…. Damien decided he was tired of the dramatics and silence. “I’m getting some air.” He told her simply, walking out the sliding glass door. Soon enough Aeryn would see a cloud of smoke wafting into the morning air. He was leaning against the cold brick in the shade of the house. She was already pissed off so what the hell did it matter if he broke his smoke-free streak. He needed to clear his head before anything else went down. Of course he hadn’t had a smoke since the night he’d killed Trevor…and there wasn’t a time he’d needed it more. Kendra picked her head up as she heard yelling in the hallway, eyebrows furrowing. “I’ll be right back…” She promised Ren quietly, kissing his cheek before heading out into the hall. She saw Tyler keeping his fiancé from wringing some poor kid’s neck. “You idiotic asshat of a fucking jock!” Hillary was snarling, trying to get to the young man. Kendra could see he had a UCLA baseball hat on, looking more than slightly pale at the rage pouring off of the older woman. “Geeze I’m sorry you crazy b-“ “Boy I’m the only thing keeping you from dying right now.” Tyler reminded him coldly, looking up as Kendra walked up. “What the blazes is going on out here?! You’re going to scare the kids!” She pointed out, looking to the new kid then. “Who the hell are you?! New recruits are in the barracks.” “He was. He let Kale get away.” Hillary snapped, lunging for the young man again only to be restrained by Tyler. “Look no one told me he was bad news! My brother told me it was fine to let him borrow the truck. A lot of recruits do…” He pointed out, not sure really which way to go. He was in deep shit…he knew that much. “What part of lock-down don’t you get kid?!” Kendra asked, blocking his attempt to run. “Again…who are you…?!” “My name is Kevin Stevenson…” He gulped out, and for a guy who broke the 6’ mark by at least an inch Kendra couldn’t help but be amused at how scared he looked. “I…I’m from Cali. My brother was already out here…sent for me when he heard what was going down…” He added, holding his hands up in innocence, “I just got here yesterday morning….” |

((Lol! That's fine)) Damien was keeping a very close eye on Keira's vitals as he listened to the conversation. That was a risky move she just pulled and it could so easily go South in just seconds. Dear God he hoped not. Aeryn didn't acknowledge Damien's words as she just sat there. She looked over and watched him head out, and soon saw the plume of smoke around his face. She frowned, and just sat there glaring at his back. Drumming her fingers across her arm impatiently, she maneuvered in her seat, not able to keep still. Moving more, she finally sighed and stood up. Fine. Swallowing a LARGE amount of pride, she walked out. "Okay, point proven. I'm a bitch and I'm making your life complicated when there's other shit going on." Both boys looked up at Kendra's words, each hearing the yelling. They both looked at each other. They didn't stay in the room before heading over to the door to see what was going. Ben was only there for so long before he heard a VERY familiar voice. "Kevin? What the hell are you doing here?" Ben asked as he popped his head in, dark eyes wide in surprise. |
