Kendra actually looked a bit hurt at his words, but that hurt turned to anger real quick. "What the hell do you mean your not staying?" She demanded, sitting up as well then. "And note I'm not that big of a slut. I actually really like--" she shook her head and stood. It was then she fixed her tank and shorts, honestly having never noticed. "Forget it..." she mumbled, but she did look back to him. "Ever think what you leaving would do to others? Samantha? Violet? Ben? No. You havent..." she let out a sarcastic laugh, "And to think I told you about Sparrow...my parents....No. You know what? Renegade does fot you better. People who are renegades are cowards. A person who deserts and betrays an organization, country, or set of principles." She told him flatly, showing there was obvious more to the girl with the big boobs and a perfect figured than appeared. She wanted to storm off, but the only thing that kept her there was he'd be lost as hell in the woods. She wanted to say fuck it, he has survival training, but something stopped her.
((Oh man....I'm not gonna lie I wasnt expecting that rage....))

Mira blinked as she found not only his arm around her waist, but that she really liked it there. She laughed though and quickly relaxed as she looked up to him. An odd feeling after being in heels all night. "Have you met them?" She teased with a laugh, but she walked easiky to the door to put her codes in. "Its worth a shot though..." she added with a small grin and a shrug as she led him through the doors. They barely got past the first common area before the wolf whistles started. Mira let out a quiet groan, "I hate it down here..." she grumbled, trying to keep her head up but she was just too tired for this shit.

Ren blinked as she gave him what for, just sitting there patiently as he let her rage. And... this is exactly why he didn't want to start something. Somebody was going to get hurt. And of course, he felt like the biggest ass for making her feel this way. Running his hand over his face, he tried to figure out what to say next. He had to close his eyes because her aura was damned distracting right now. It really was like fireworks, but now it was like explosions with bright bursts of oranges, yellows, and reds. If he hadn't have been able to tell that she was angry, that would have clued him in. "So what? Did you expect me to stay forever? Everything has an end. What if I had to relocate?" He asked her, not once raising his voice. He made sure to sound as calm and gentle as possible. "Or what if something happens? It would be illogical to form something. To become close and have something happen. I personally don't know if I could handle that. You're this amazing and special woman Kendra. I don't have anything to offer you."

Damien just shrugged with a smirk as he followed her through the door and barracks. As soon as he heard the first wolf whistle, his arm tightened around her as he made a face. He found that he really hated it. He had never liked it before, but he liked it less when it was for Mira. "Just ignore them. They're of a bunch of brainless idiots anyways." He murmured into her ear as they walked, keeping a protective arm around her. He'd knock any one of them on their asses if they came up to her. He may not be some awesome trained fighter, but he wasn't defenseless. He was a bit of a scrapper.

Kendra rolled her eyes, “Go, I dare you to tell Samantha you plan on leaving I fucking dare you sit there and watch that girl crumble. Or you just gonna disappear one night and leave her abandoned. You told her you weren’t leaving. That is the ONLY reason she’s even remotely open around you. You’re the only “outsider” Keira really trusts with her sister because guess what? You helped her and you’re the only one who could. You’re really demented. If you had to relocate chances are all of us would have to unless there’s something you’re simply not telling us something that makes you so damn special. You joined us and whether you like it or not you ditch? Good Luck. You’ll really be a renegade then.” She told him flatly. The longer she went on the more her Brooklyn accent came out. When he brought them up she wanted to scream but she swallowed it, but her voice did sound a little pained. “It’s called taking a chance, Askuwheteau. Screw logic. Logic belongs on the battlefield or forming plans on how to keep this going. It doesn’t belong in your heart. Have you seen what times we’re living in? Nothing is certain. And what exactly could I offer you? Frankly nothing but my words and my heart and that’s all I wanted in return but you can’t see that.” She let out a bitter laugh, “And I actually thought you’d be different than the other assholes here…Screw this find your own way out.” She mumbled, turning and walking the way they’d came but she didn’t turn quite fast enough as the moon caught a tear rolling down her cheek in its beams. She actually allowed herself to open up to some asshole because he seemed to be different. This is why she had a shield in the first place…

“It’s just too late for this bullshit…” She mumbled back, feeling herself lean into him a little. There was a reason she only went down to ops or the meeting area. She could avoid the barracks. Luckily they got up to the main house before the guys from the gym started in. She chuckled with a small smile as she looked back up to him. "Thank you happy...." She teased him lightly as they walked up the staircase.

Ren finally looked up, despite how distracting and bright her aura was. He listened to her, actually listened to her. The longer he listened, the more he felt like an ass. When she turned, and he caught the tear, it was the final straw. He was up before he could do anything. "Look, you're right. And I'm sorry." He said as he stepped in front of her. He didn't touch, not knowing if she was one of those type of people who would hurt him from touching her, or she was the kind who he was allowed to touch when they were angry. "I'm acting like an asshole right now. A big, giant, asshole. I tend to think and plan on a lot of what ifs. I don't usually go with my heart or go with the flow because it was trained out of me. I actually really like you. And I want to have something with you. I just... I can't help but think of the what ifs because that's what I was trained to do. I don't know how to just let go and go with the flow. I, I really didn't mean to hurt you. I'm so sorry." He apologized again.

Damien smiled as he rubbed her arm reassuringly. When they finally made it to the safety of the main house, he looked down at her with his own smile. He chuckled as she thanked him before shrugging. "You're welcome." He told her as he nudged her. He paused for a second, trying to figure out if he should take his arm from around her or not. Then there was another part, that wanted to lean down and kiss her. That part very much freaked him out.

Kendra wanted to walk around him when he stepped in her way but something in his words made her stay put. It was a good thing he didn't touch her because his powers would've been gone for at least a day with how worked up she'd become. She even took a small step back just in case. She listened, shaking her head as she looked to him. "You're scared." She told him bluntly, "There will always be what ifs no matter what in life. Its about not letting them rule you. You can't control everything....." she wiped stubbornly at her eyes as she tried to calm herself down. It was something she'd learned relatively early in life and had been beat into her the past few years. "I really like you...but I can't be with someone who has one foot out the door at all times." She told him honestly, finally starting to calm down a bit.

Mira smiled with a laugh as he nudged her, shaking her head a bit as she locked the door behind them. She wondered as well if he'd take his arm from around her. She obviously didn't mind it but that's also what kind of scared her. She nodded her head to the staircase, "Come on you dirty stay out...." she teased him as she stared for them, figuring she'd let him decide. As she walked she took a clip from her clutch and put her hair up into a messy bun, revealing the top of the fairy once more.

"Yea, but that's what I was trained to do. I have to think about the what if's, I don't know how to let go." Ren tried to explain, running his hand through his hair. "And I don't have one foot out of the door, I'm just trying to prepare myself in case of if something happens. It just happens. I don't know how to not think like that." He told her. "I promise I'm not trying to upset or hurt you. I just wanted to be upfront and honest with you."

Damien laughed as he followed her, smiling as he watched her. She was very beautiful. And now he was wondering why these thoughts had popped up tonight. He watched her before finally removing his arm from around her. It felt... wrong, not right removing his arm from around her. Yet he felt as if he should feel wrong for feeling this way about her. He watched as she clipped her hair up off of her neck, her tattoo once more visible to him.

Kendra listened to him but she couldn't help but remained annoyed by his words. She never understood how people could be so consumed by the future. It was the future for a reason and they'd deal with it then. She finally took another breath and finally looked back up at him. "Then let me be honest with you. I'm willing to give this....us a chance but on this condition. You need to promise me I wont have to comfort two little girls because you decided to leave." She told him. She knew she could heal if he hurt her, she'd done it before. She wasn't concerned first about her "If you're willing to trust me and take this chance...." she gave a shrug but gave him a ghost of a smile. "I'm willing to jump in with you..."

Mira felt a sharp pang of disappointment as his arm dropped from around her and it confused her even more. She shouldnt be having these emotions...right? Maybe everything would make sense in the morning....she doubted it though. She felt his eyes in her though, looking back with a laugh. "What's on your mind, D?" She asked simply, quirking an eyebrow.

Ren paused as he considered her words. Once again, his head went to the future, and the what if's nearly consumed him. Rubbing the bridge of his noise, he felt the beginning's of a headache come on. "This is going to drive me crazy." He muttered to himself. Opening his eyes, he looked back to Kendra then. The way she looked right now, even in gym shorts and a tank top, she was breathtaking. He thought of how well they got along together, and how much he wanted to get to know her more. Kendra could see him beginning to overthink again. Finally he just let out a dry chuckle. "Told you I'm not so good at this." He told her. "I... okay." He finally agreed as he tried not to think about it too much.

The first thing Damien wanted to say was how beautiful she looked at the moment in that dress. Luckily, he caught himself before he actually said that. He didn't need to ruin anything. He smiled as he shrugged. "When is something not on my mind?" He countered with a smirk, purposely being difficult. "But I was studying your tattoo more now that I can see it a little better." He admitted with a smile.

Kendra watched him warily, ready to take back everything she said when she saw him overthnking again. So when he said okay it took her a moment to respond and digest what he said. When she spoke her voice was much calmer and stepped forward a bit since she was no longer a danger to him. "Okay..." she told him, holding her hand out to him so she could lead him out of the woods and back to the house. Maybe, if anything, she could help him let go of the constant worries.

Mira laughed, shaking her head as they approached the third story, their rooms adjacent to one another. At the mention of her tattoo she paused, "Hold on..." she laughed, slipping her arm out of the one sleeve of her dress but was careful to keep the front up. When she did the entire fairy was revealed, including the name Emily Rose written underneath in delicate script. "Better?" She asked, just waiting for the question. It was a beautiful tattoo of a girl fairy with pinkish purple butterfly wings sitting in a bed of flowers.

Ren watched her warily, waiting for another outburst when she stepped forward and held out her hand. He blinked before nodding. Holding his hand out cautiously, he took her hand in his gently as he took a step towards her. He had a feeling that this was going to be a very eye opening and changing experience. If just the events of tonight proved anything.

Damien blinked as she slipped her arm out of her sleeve, honestly a little surprised. When she bared the full tattoo to him, he walked forward to study it curiously. His hand came out as his finger traced it very lightly before pulling back. "Was Emily your mom or sister?" He asked, not thinking that it could be anybody else. It was a beautiful tattoo, very well made.
