Daniel made a face, "Ugh don't remind me...." he mused, even though he was pretty much solid muscle even though he had a slender frame. He wasn't able to bulk up like he'd been able to do for football. "If someone told me I'd be sharing clothes with my shrimp of a brother...." He chuckled with a shake of his head, watching her as she started cooking lunch finally.

Keira smiled at his kiss, holding it a little longer before pulling away, "Well why don't you find Liz? She'll have something for you to do...I'll come grab you after class?" She suggested, running her hand over his short hair with a smile.

Jeremy smiled as he felt her relax back into him, "You will not! You and Mira gang up on me all the time. Here I am trying to be sweet and kind....I bought you funnel cake dammit!!" He told her playfully, shaking his head with a joking sigh.

Brynn just laughed before grinning at him. "Oh you poor, baby. It must drive you absolutely crazy to be as tiny as the rest of us mere mortals, no more your ungodly hulk of a size." She teased him as she sauteed up her veggies before she'd place them in the quesidilla's. Pretty soon, the smell of cooked food was beginning to waft around, and Brynn realized she was pretty hungry herself.

Ben smiled as she pulled back before nodding at he suggestion. "Yea, I can go find her." He said, willing to do anything to be helpful. "And I would love to see you after your class." He teased lightly as he tugged on her hair playfully. "You're making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, Belle." he joked. "Miss popular to come look for little ol' me after her class."

Caelynne giggled before rolling her eyes. "Be an orange, not a grape." She monotoned Mira's quote to him before grinning. "Funnel cake!" She cheered with a laugh, obviously still a little hyper from the sugar full carnival food.

Daniel made a face at her, "I was never 'hulk' sized, for your information darlin', but I was a lot broader than I am now. Being a quarterback will do that..." He mused with a small laugh, snatching one of the veggies out of the pan and ate it before she could even hope to stop him. He loved his gifts sometimes. "Mmm...you may give Liz a run for her money. Don't let the others know you can cook or you'll be on kitchen duty as well..." He teased her with a smirk, opting to sit on the counter than lean against it.

Keira laughed at his teasing, "You should feel special dammit..." She teased him right back, stealing a kiss just long and deep enough to leave him wanting more before pulling back and out of his reach. "Well I've stalled long enough...I think Liz is downstairs in the den setting up a movie." She added with a small smirk before heading out of the room and down the back stairs to outside.

Jeremy grinned as she quoted Mira, laughing at her sudden openness. He couldn't help but love it and love the way her smile lit up her face. "What if I want to be a grape!?" He demanded playfully, "And I think you're coming into town with me more often....for the sheer fact of getting you all sugared up for the day."

"Ooh, you were the quarterback!" Brynn teased him with a grin, seeming to enjoy herself. Daniel was a fun person to hang out with, she decided. "I dated the quarterback in our school once. That lasted for an all of two weeks. I brought him home and daddy put a gun to his head. I've never seen the guy run faster in his life! Even in games, it was kind of funny to be honest. Then I realized that he was a big giant scaredy cat because he never talked to me again. I saw him a couple of days later with one of the cheerleaders." She shook her head in amusement at the memory before blinking as he stole a veggie. "Holy tacos you're fast! Don't do that!" She waved the big plastic spoon in her hand at him. When he said to keep her talents a secret, she just laughed as she worked on finsihed up their lunch for them. "I had to learn. It was either learn how to cook or starve. Daddy would get completely sucked into his work, and would often forget to come out and eat. I'm surprised he remembered me half of the time." She admitted as she placed all the stuff in the middle of the tortilla wraps before pressing them together. Cutting them up, she handed Daniel's plate to him with a grin. They wouldn't taste right to her, because she was used to having her special, queso cheese, but they would taste good enough. She was too hungry to care quite frankly.

Ben's laugh was cut off by her kiss as he leaned in to kiss her back. When she pulled away, he pouted as he reached for her so he could have another kiss. He sighed as she left the room, really wanting another kiss and more time with her. It wasn't meant to be he guessed. Getting up, he stretched with a yawn as he quickly changed into a pair of carpenter shorts, and a white tank top that showed off his tan and built arms. Shaking his head, he made his way downstairs to where Keira said Lizbeth was.

"Grapes get squashed." Caelynne then made a squishy noise with a giggle and a grin. When he said she would have to go into town more often, she blushed as she shrugged at him. "We'll see." She said vaguely as she poked his shoulder. "Crybaby." She teased him as she turned back around to realize that riding a horse wasn't so scary after all. She was coming to find out that it was quite fun.

Daniel grinned, "Cant help myself. You made good food...." he told her with a shrug, "and now you know partially why I was swept up." He added, taking the plate of food happily. He immediately dug in, starving since he hadn't really eaten anything that morning. "Hmmm...I think i'll keep you..." he teased her with a playful wink as he munched happily.

Liz was in the doorway of the den, keeping an eye on the kids glued to the screen as How to Train Your Dragon played. It was like kiddie crack....she looked up as Ben walked down the hall, "Hey there darlin'! What can I help you for?" She asked him with a pretty smile.

Jeremy laughed as she made the squish noise and giggled, "Hey hey....no teasing the man keeping you on the horse..." he told her, poking her lightly in the side. "So you wanna go a little faster this lap or keep it the same?" He asked her simply, knowing this would probably be their last lap before they had to do their normal round.

Brynn laughed as she put all of her dishes in the sink before hopping up on the counter and joining Daniel as she dug into her food, feeling starving at the moment. "Yay! I am kept!" She teased him with a grin. "So what else do you do? Besides having lightening quick reflexes?" She asked him curiously as she looked over at him, kicking her feet idly as she ate.

Ben Liz right where Keira said she'd be. He smiled as he saw that the kids were glued to the screen as they watched the movie before turning back to Liz. "Key said to come find you for something to do. I want to help, just don't know how." He admitted with a shrug.

"Not funny." Cay said as she wagged her finger at him and made a face. At his question, she turned back around as she thought about it. "Little faster." She said with a nod as she tensed, preparing herself for the shift in speed. She knew this would probably be the last lap before they had to go back to the usual routine for the day.

Daniel chuckled, giving a small grin at her question. He set the plate down on the counter, "Its easier to show you...." he told her with a small smirk. Within the next few moments he'd hoped up and perched himself up in the corner of the rafters of the kitchen. He sat there grinning, arms crossed over his chest, "If I scare you in the future I do apologize..." he mused with a small shrug.

Liz laughed softly, "I'm sure there's something for you to do..." she teased lightly, "What kind of jobs have you done in the past?" She asked him simply, tilting her head a little.

Jeremy nodded, "As you wish...." he chuckled, clicking his heels and letting Diablo up to a light gallop. He felt the resistance on the reins loosen up, the steed finally at a comfortable pace. "How you doin?" He asked her, making sure she was still secure on the saddle.

Brynn felt her eyebrows furrow in confusion at his words, but when hopped up in the corner of the rafters, she emmitted a startled squeak. "Oh my God!" She said as she stared with wide eyes before finally relaxing and laughing. "That is so totally cool! I bet you were an awesome hide n go seek player! I was really good at hiding, but I was a horrible seeker, I just always got too distracted when looking for people and ended up wandering off or something like that. Serously though! That is cool." She told him with a grin. "You're like that super hero! Uhh..." She hummed the theme under her breath as she tried to remember before snapping her fingers. "Spiderman! You're kind like spiderman! That's it." She grinned at him.

"Uhh..." Ben blushed as he rubbed the back of his head. "I've never had a job before." He admitted, slightly embarrassed. He was never much of a chores kid either, they had a maid that came and cleaned the house on the end of the week.

Caelynne's smile brightened at his words, even though he couldn't really see it. She didn't know if he even noticed using those words, but they made her smile. She really did love that movie. When Diablo went into a light gallop, she held her breath as she held on tightly, eyes wide as she watched them practically glide across the ground. It was terrifying at first, but after a little while she found that it was... well... fun. It was like riding in a car with the sunroof up and windows down. Except more exhilerating. She relaxed the tiniest bit as she remembered to breath again, a small smile on her face. At Jeremy's question, she turned to smile at him. "Fun." She told him simply before turning back around, loving the feeling of the wind blowing against her face. She almost wanted to go faster, but she would leave that for another day. When she was a little more brave, and a lot more used to riding a horse.

Daniel laughed, "Seems to be the superhero of choice for me..." He told her, sounding amused by her reaction. "And to answer your question this part came after the hide-and-seek years unfortunately. I was awesome at tag though..." He mused with a cheesy grin, hopping down from the 10-foot ceiling barely making a noise.

Liz laughed, "Ahhh....you're a pampered little bugger aren't ya?" She teased him, thinking it over for a minute. "Well I could be really mean and send you down to file paperwork out for Carol but I'll give you the choice. Kid duty, filing, or inventory check downstairs in the armory?" She offered, glancing back into the room as her two main devils were plotting against the new kid. It would be one hell of a test on patience. There was an older girl in the room as well, playing idly with her brunette curls as she kept the peace by passing out refills of goldfish and water but she definitely looked like she'd rather be somewhere else.

Jeremy grinned, "Good." He told her, happy to see her relaxed and smiling. It just suited her so well. Much better than always hiding behind her hair and others. After a few moments they pulled to a stop in front of the girls, each with a water in their hands talking a mile a minute to Keira who was trying to convince them to come in out of the heat.

She let out a playful sigh, "What if I promise to help you track down Ren so he can get you guys some yummy food and then you can harass him for the rest of the day?" She asked, smiling as the pair came trotting over. "Hey, I've got water over here for y'all..." She told them, gesturing to the small bag hanging on the fence.

Jeremy laughed as he hopped down, pecking his tiny blonde playfully on the side of the head. "You are a god-sent Keira O'Connor..." He teased as she laughed, watching as he tied Diablo up before reaching his arms up to Cay. "Come on, shortie...I'll let you take a small break before we get going on the daily chores." He told her with a small, lop-sided grin, knowing her legs were going to be a little shaky at first.

Brynn laughed, blinking as Daniel suddenly hopped down, as quiet as a mouse. Seroiusly, that was way cool. "Did you ever play Cartoon freeze tag? I bet you were awesome at that. I'm glad I never had to play against you?! And what do you mean after?! I still play hide n seek to this day! It's tons of fun. A bunch of us would go out to the woods at midnight to play. That was so much fun. And the only person allowed a light was the seeker. Then you had the fun people who tried to scare other people." She said with a grin as she ate more of her food. "Man, I'm super jealous now. I wish I had an awesome power." She said with a pout.

Ben thought about the choices that Liz had offered him. Filing was out. That just... well that seemed like hell to him. Inventory wouldn't be too bad, right? Then there was watching kids. He never had to babysit before. He had heard horror stories though. Yet Ren never seemed to have any problems with the kids he watched. "I've never really had to watch over kids before." He admitted as he looked over at the bunch of them sprawled in front of the TV, eyes glued to the screen. "Does it take any extroidinary skills that I probably, more than likely, don't possess?"

Caelynne almost wanted to pout when the ride was over, finding that she had enjoyed it very much. Now that she was used to it, she didn't want it to end. She really did pout, wondering when was the next time she could go riding. When they slowed and walked over to Keira and the girls, she quieted up a little, still unsure and uneasy aroung the petite blonde. She looked down warily as Jeremy just hopped on down, finding that now that it was over, it really was a bit of a ways down...

When Jeremy held his arms out for her, she looked at him warily, not sure what to do. Slipping one foot out of the stirrup, she slung it over to the other side so she was now sitting sideways on the saddle facing Jeremy. Biting her lip, she wondered how she was going to do this. Taking a deep breath, she then held her hands out as she hopped off of the horse, eyes closing unwillingly as she waited to hit the ground.
