Violet grinned, going to speak when another voice rang through the barn. "Alright Y'all who is ready for some ridin'?!" Samantha giggled shyly as Keira poked her in the side lightly. "Me..." she admitted, before furrowing her brows a little. "You don't look dressed to ride though..." she said, noticing Keira's compression capris and sports bra." The older girl laughed softly as Jeremy set Sam down so he could finish up Diablo. "I'm not, you're right. I'm just a coach for this morning to help Violet out..." she explained, laughing again as her sister hugged her. "Hey can you two head out and make sure the corral is ready?" she added, to which the girls nodded and headed out. Keira stood then with a sweet smile as she looked over to the girl hiding behind Misty. "Hey, you're Caelynne, right?? I'm Keira...we kinda met yesterday morning?" she reminded her. Like Jeremy she treated her normally, not tiptoeing like others. She remembered what it was like to feel like that, and how she'd wanted to be treated. After his long talk with Keira, Daniel could admit to feeling a little better. At least he knew he still had his best friend, even if she was with someone else. He shook his head and decided to head down to the range for target practice. He was a good shot with rifles and shotguns but he'd never had much practice with pistols. |

Caelynne jumped out her skin as she heard the new voice, and it seemed that all of Jeremy's hard work of getting her to open up just went out the window after that little scare. She quickly finished washing up Misty as she used the horse to hide behind as the petite girl walked into the barn. This was obviously Violet's big sister. She kept her head down as she brushed out Silvermist's mane, wishing the girl would just ignore her. Luck wasn't with her it seemed when she heard the girl speak up to her. Looking up briefly, she nodded, her chattiness having disappeared entirely it seemed. Once she was finished brushing out the horses mane, she moved away from Misty since the girl obviously wished to be with her mare. Walking over, she sort of, in a way, ran away from Keira and hid behind Jeremy, not really confident of her new people skills. It also showed just how comfortable she was with Jeremy as she almost glued herself to him. Maybe if she hadn't be so startled earlier, it would have gone a little smoother. As Daniel headed down and set up at the gun range, there was suddenly a familiar, bright voice behind him. "Hi! I remember you from earlier!" The bright voice said, a bright red head poked out from behind him with a bright smile. Moving to the side, Brynn showed the case she brought with her. "Are you here to shoot? Of course you, else why would be in here?" She laughed. "What kind of gun do you usually prefer?" She asked. |

Keira gave her a sweet smile, watching as the girl hid behind Jeremy. She ran her hand along her Mare's back with a faint smile, "Hey pretty girl...." she murmured, "Cay's been taking good care of you hasn't she..." she mused moving over to untie Misty's reigns and laughed as the horse nuzzled her. Jeremy smiled down at Cay, looping an arm around her shoulders as she hid behind him. "She's not going to eat you...." he teased her softly, "and look at it this way shortie, she's much smaller than you as well..." he added and it was true. At 5' even Keira was shorter than almost everyone on the base save for the kids. Daniel blinked as the redhead from earlier appeared, chuckling softly as she rambled on again. "I usually shoot rifle or shotgun but I'm actually looking to improve my pistol aim..." he told her as he turned to face her. "Brynn...right?" He asked with an amused smile. |

Caelynne shook her head before looking away from Keira. Despite how tiny she was, Keira just had this look around her that said she was a lot more dangerous than she seemed. Keira was a lot more dangerous than Jeremy made her seem. Her short stature didn't mean anything. So instead of saying anything, she just kept herself glued to Jeremy's side, seeming to be a little more relaxed with his arm around her. She found it to be safe and comforting. Brynned nodded several times with another bright smile. "That's me! And you're Daniel, correct?" She asked, already knowing she was right. "So what kind of pistol are you looking for to practice with? She herself preferred the small variety in which she could conceal easier. Of course, pistols were her preferred to any weapon. Well... unless she sometimes happen to come upon the illegal, fully automatic kind. THOSE were seriously fun as well. |

Jeremy chuckled lightly, rubbing her arm a bit. "Come on, help me finish up Diablo so we can get to riding...." he told her as Keira led Misty out of the barn and into the corral, only returning for a moment to grab her saddle. Daniel nodded, thinking over her question before giving a small shrug, "Whatcha god speedy?" He asked her, the same amused smile on his lips. He thought Keira was an energetic little bugger....damn. "I'm so out of sorts with pistols its kind of sad but we'll see how this goes." He added, smile spreading to a rather attractive smile on his face. |

Caelynne nodded as she helped him finish cleaning up Diablo, running a brush through his tangled mane from all of the running he had been doing. Once all the knots were out, she patted the horses shoulder fondly as she leaned in to kiss his cheek. "Good Diablo." She told him as she pretended that Keira wasn't there. It was easier that way. Brynn grinned as she placed her rather large case onto the table, entered the code, and popped the lid to show him what was inside. "These are only a couple that I have. Some are around here somewhere." She waved her hand. "And others I already have tucked securely in my room." She explained with a smile on her face, eyes lingering on him briefly before turning back to her case. The guns in the case were beautifully made, and had some not so legal accessories, and some legal acessories attached and placed to the side to be attached. "This is my personal favourite, but you might find it too small for you. Some guys aren't big fans of the tinier, easier to conceal weapons I've noticed. It's the .38 special hammerless smith and wesson. It's the first gun my daddy ever gave me. Because of it's size, I can very easily bring it just about anywhere with me. It's a revolver, so you won't be able to get much shots off, but I like it." She explained with a shrug as she handed him the weapon. "This is also one of the first guns I made myself. Of course, that first one didn't look as pretty as this one." She grinned at him. |

Jeremy chuckled softly as he watched her, shaking his head a little before cleaning up the supplies and such. Instead of wiping his hands off though, he flicked the remaining water at Cay with a small grin. “I couldn’t let out get the last shot in….” He teased her lightly as he untied Diablo and handed her the reigns. “If you’ve got the horse I’ve got the saddle…deal?” He asked her, flashing her an attractive sloppy grin. Daniel chuckled as she opened the case, looking over the guns she pointed out. “You know what…I’m going to sound ultra-unmanly and say let’s start with something small…” he mused with a chuckle, picking up the one she’d mentioned was her favorite. It was kind of small in is hand but he nodded his head to the range, “Where are the targets?” He asked her, loading a magazine as he spoke. What was with him and seeming to attract cute, hyper girls with a gun fettish? |

Caelynne was turning to put the stuff up when Jeremy flicked her with water. She squeaked, laughing quietly as she ducked her head. "Not fair!" She told him with a smile, that seeming to have helped a little as she looked over at him. When he offered her the reigns, she nodded at him as she took them. "Deal." She smiled as she clicked her tongue and tugged ont he reigns for Diablo to follow her out of the barn and towards the corral. She looked back at Jeremy one last time before heading out on her way. Brynn just laughed as she put on her glasses and earmuffs as he picked up the gun. It was already loaded though. The rest of her guns she kept unloaded. Except for that one. It was her go to weapon in tight situations. When he asked about the targets, she flipped a switch, bringing them to the suggested range for the gun in his hand. "Do you need any help?" She asked him with a playful smile, curious to see how he did with the handgun. He just seemed like one of those Southern boys that were born with a rifle on his back. Especially with a scope, it was very comfortable to rely on rifles, and ones like 22s, which had no kick back of which to speak were easy to shoot. Firing a handgun was a much different experience. |

((See I shoot a 22 (and bigger cal hehehe) but I HATE scopes....idk why but they've always hindered me. I'm an iron sights girl...haha)) "it is perfectly too fair..." He teased her, smiling as he watched her head out. When he caught her glance back he shooed her, "I'll be out in a minute shortie..." He promised her with the same sloppy grin before moving to grab the sadle and blanket from the stall. When Cay got outside Violet was already up on Misty, Keira in the center of the corral watching her sister carefully. "Loosen up just a bit, Vi...you don't want to hold it too tight. That's my girl...back level if you're gonna lean forward otherwise up straight. I don't wanns see andy slouching..." She called out, hands crossed under her chest. In the mid-morning sun one could easily see the intricate tattoo going down her back and the faint lines of a six pack on her stomach. She gave Cay a sweet smile, though as she emerged with Diablo before retraining her eyes on Violet. Sam was perched on the fence, obviously waiting for Jeremy to emerge. Jeremy chuckled as he went to load the new magazine in, only to find the pistol was already loaded. He chuckled, locked it back in and set the one he'd done down on the bench of the stall. "I think I've got it..." He teased her before putting on his glasses and earmuffs. He had the stance and fingering right, he chuckled, though as the first bullet went through the shoulder of the outline. "Damn...I'm rustier than I thought.." He mused, but then again the residual tremor in his arm probably wasn't helping much either. He leveled out his breath and shot again, quelling the shakes a bit and hit the target square in the throat. "Well...he'd be dead...eventually..." he sighed as he lined up the shot again. |

((I'm not gonna lie, I was totally raised on scopes lol. I love them. I'll deal with iron sights if I have to, but I much rather use scope or laser sight. (Laser sight is so much fun! :P) And I've sort of noticed that down here in the South, rifles with scopes are the main guns to be had haha Well besides 12 and 20 gauges.)) Caelynne just nodded as she headed out, becoming a little more nervous as she caught sight of Keira. ((Not Kai! Gah, why do I keep doing that?!)), She walked Diablo over towards where Sam was sitting, wanting to be out of the way for Violet and Misty. She made sure to put the large stallion ((Or is he a gelding? I don't remember! D:)) between her and Keira, staring down and watching her feet as she waited for Jeremy to come out with the saddle and blanket. Bryn watched on with amusement as Daniel fired, obviously not used to the weapon. She just laughed, waiting for the quick six shots to be used up. Once he was finished, she waited for him to put the safety back on before she flipped the switch to have the targets brought to them. Pulling off her ear muffs, she grinned at him. "How long has it been since you've shot a weapon?" She asked. Despite what people thought, thiswas not like one of those instances where it was like riding a bicycle. You had to constantly practice to stay a decent shot. |
