"So you're saying I should accept being called Benny-Boo and Tigger? Yea... I don't think that's gonna work, Belle." Ben pointed out to her before chuckling as Keira turned red. He was quickly catching on though, when to bring things up, and when not to. "Come on, I need to sit down after the hell you put me through today. I'm pretty sure you're trying to kill me." He teased Keira, not seeming bothered at all.

Caelynne smiled just barely at Jeremy's teasing before pausing at his other words. She looked down at the ground as she nodded numbly. "Fine." she told him even though it was obvious something was bothering her. "Do I have to eat out there?" She asked him, still not comfortable with all of the strangers. There was too many new people at once for her.

((I just got tagteamed and beat up by my dad and brother. Not cool v.v ))

Keira chuckled with a nod, following him over to the table as the others began to sit down as well. She glanced around with a small frown, "Where's D?" she asked, tilting her head a little. He never missed a meal...expecially if Mira or Liz were cooking.

Daniel shrugged, "He'll be in soon enough...He went out to meet up with Aeryn last I heard.."

She nodded, looking to Sam with a small laugh as the young girl happily plopped down next to Ren, playing with the ends of her braid since she couldn't use her hair to hide from Ben. "Ren I think you've got a buddy...." She mused with a smile as Samantha giggled softly.

Jeremy paused looking to Mira and getting a quick, silent answer before looking back to Cay with a silly grin. "Nahhh....why would you wanna sit out there!? Cool kids sit in here! We'll have our own little group. I'll even drag Damien up from the dungeon. Soudn like a plan?" He asked her curiously. He was never demeaning or treated her like a kid, he was just acting like his normal goofey self. He understood what it was like to be skiddish around people; he'd grown up with Damien and had seen what it had taken to get Keira to reemerge. He was perfectly fine with Cay and how she was. Everyone had their own speed.

Ben snorted at the answer. "Well we're not gonna see them for a while." He muttered under his breath as he sat down.

Ren looked over as Keira spoke up, and grinned. "Samonkey!!" He declared as he tugged on the girls braid. "How's my favouritest little girl ever? Well... one of them. I can't play favourites." He winked at her playfully.

Caelynne smiled, and you could see most of the tension just melt off of her body. She nodded at his words, tucking some of her tangled hair beind her ear. She appreciated that Jeremy acted so normal around her. It made her feel so much better. That maybe she had a chance to be normal some day as well. It was probably one of the main reasons that he was also the only guy she was comfortable enough around besides her brother to talk to.

Sam giggled, shaking her head a little as he tugged on her braid. "I'm fine..." She said softly, looking over to Ben quickly before looking back to Ren. "Ben fell off Misty...It was kinda funny...but we didn't get to ride..." She admitted with a small but real pout, obviously having been looking forward to riding with Jeremy. He didn't have a lot of time lately to take her for rides.

Keira nudged Ben with a laugh at his grumble, knowing if she or he had their choice the rest of the people at the table wouldn't see them for a while either...

Jeremy nodded with a grin, "Then it is settled." He nodded to the smaller table at the end of the kitchen, "Steal us some grub and I'll go steal your brother from Carol." He told her with a nod, stealing a biscuit on his way out before Mira could stop him. He headed downstairs to the op center, just barely finishing it before he entered the room. He was slightly relieved to see it was just Damien and the new kid. Carol had been in confrence calls all day. He tapped Damien on the shoulder as he swallowed the portion of biscuit in his mouth. "Come on, I came on behalf of your sister. You're wanted for dinner..." He told the other guy with a small shrug. "Now we can do this easily or I can hoist your skrawny ass up the stairs. Either way your sister requests your presence at dinner." He added, a teasing smirk on his lips. By the muscles peeking through his thin t-shirt one could tell the second option wasn't out of his strength range.

Ren chuckled as he looked over at his friend. "I heard he did." He told her before grinning. "Aww, cheer up, girly! If you get to ride tomorrow instead, you get to ride for longer, right?!" He asked her. "Have you ever ridden before?" He asked her curiously, still chuckling over the fact of Ben falling off. He had always had problems with that family of mammals. Mules, donkeys, horses and the like.

Ben looked over as Keira nudged him and stuck his tongue out at her playfully before grinning, feeling kind of silly at the moment.

Caelynne nodded with a smile, watching as he left to go get her brother. She giggled silently as he stole a biscuit before beginning to get plates ready for her, her brother, and Jeremy and placing them on the table in the kitchen. She was so relieved that she didn't have to eat with all the strangers out in the dining room.

Damien was very focused on whatever was on the screen in front of him when he was startled out of his concentration as Jeremy tapped him on the shoulder. "What? What time is it?" He said before looking at the time nearby and cursing as he ran his hand over his face. "No, I'm coming. I've already gotten orders from Mira." He told him as he leaned backwards and stretched his back, sighing as it popped. Besides, he really didn't like the idea of Jeremy trying to tote him up the stairs. He wasn't dumb, he knew he didn't stand a chance. Standing up, he tossed his hair out of his eyes. "Okay, I'm ready." He told him as then followed him towards the stairs.

Samantha gave him a small smile and a nod, "Yeah I have....Jeremy took me riding a lot more when I first got here..." She told him, an excited little spark in her dark eyes. Like Damien had become Keira's big brother Jeremy had become like Samantha's. He found her that night. He was her safehaven. She was always a little more upbeat when he was in the room and if you left them in the room alone together it was like she was a different little girl. Laughing, talking a mile a minute about everything that was going on, even asking him the usual questions which popped into a five-year-old's mind.

Keira laughed, giving his knee a playful squeeze as she looked up to find the girls were bringing the food out. Barbecue tonight! Ribs, burgers, salads and of course homemade buttermilk biscuits. "I am in heaven." She said with a decisive nod, gathering food up for her sister and herself.

Jeremy chuckled as he watched the younger guy, shaking his head a bit. "I never understood that whole thing..." He mused, motioning to Damien's hair with a faint laugh. "Dude come on...that has to get annoying when you're trying to see the screen." He added as they headed back upstairs. His own hair was longer but usually spiked up in some fashion if it wasn't under a baseball cap as it currently was.

Ren smiled, catching the excited spark in her eyes and the flare of happiness in her aura as she talked about Jeremy and riding. It was obvious how much she looked up to and loved the older guy, and how much she loved to go riding with him. "So you're a regular little cowgirl then?!" He asked her playfully as he poked her side. When the food came out, his stomach rumbled as he smelled it. Oh Spirits, it looked and smelled amazing. As the girls set it down, he began to make a plate for himself, and one for Sam.

Ben chuckled, looking up with a groan as the food came out. "That smells amazing," he admitted as he quickly piledh is plate high with food. After the day he had, he was allowed to pig out and eat tons of food.

Damien looked over with a laugh and shrugged as he stuck his hands into his grey hoodie he always wore. "As weird as it sounds, I'm used to it. It would feel weird not having it so long. I've had long hair like this for years." He told the older guy. "And nah, not really. I've learned to look past it and ignore it." He said as he climbed up the stairs.

He smiled as he walked into the kitchen and found Calynne there, already sitting down at the table, three plates made up of food.

"Aww! Is one of these for me?" He asked with a grin as Caelynne rolled her eyes but smiled with a nod. Ruffling her tangled hair, he plopped down next to her as she made a face. But you could tell with him being in here was helping her tons.

"Shut up and eat." She told him as he laughed and looked over at Jeremy.

"I blame you. You're a bad influence. You're making her so mean!" He declared as Cay giggled silently.

Sam gave him a silent giggle but shook her head, "No that's Vi..." She said softly, smiling and giving him a soft thank you as he gave her a plate of food. She ate one of her fries before looking up to him curiously, "Have you ever ridden?" She asked him, tilting her head a bit as she swung her feet idly.

Jeremy chuckled as the siblings bickered, sitting down across from Cay as he spoke. "No way, I blame that on you. I'm a freaking angel and nothing but a good influence. You've been hanging out with Carol too long if you can't recongize that..." He teased him, giving Cay a playful wink before biting into his burger. Delicious as usual! He looked back up at the pair as he continued, "Shortie is my buddy and keeps the damned hens from eating me on a daily basis. Why I have to go in there when they obviously hate me I don't think is fair, by the way...." He added, making a face.

"Sounds to me like your a cowgirl in the making. I'm just waiting to see when they get you a cowboy hat and boots!" Ren teased her with a grin as he started to eat his food. He could seriously die happy after this. Spirits, this food was amazing! When Sam asked him her question, he shook his head. "Nope! Unless you want to count a mule, I've never ridden before. Is it hard?" He asked her.

Caelynne giggled as she pointed at Jeremy. "Bad influence too." She told him as Damien laughed, glad to see his sister interacting with other people.

"Ha! You're a bad influence too." He told the man as he made a face. "I am around that woman too long. There's something seriously wrong with that." He said as he looked over at Cay with a raised eyebrow. "That true? Of course it's true! You're like the animal whisperer or something. I don't think you know this Jeremy, but when we were younger, Cay here ran her own little mini animal hospital in our backyard. She's your typical Pollyanna." He teased her as Caelynne blushed and made a face.

"Not Pollyanna." She told him as Damien snorted.

"Really?" He asked as she nodded.

"Dummy." She muttered and Damien had to keep from laughing.

Sam giggled a little as she shook her head, "Not if you have a really good teacher...." she told him but paused, "but Keira is a good teacher and Ben fell off..." she shook her head and took another bite. She looked up to him again after a few moments, "Do you wanna ride with us tomorrow?" She asked him softly with a very shy smile.

Jeremy let out a mock gasp of horror, "Shortie I'm hurt...." he gave her a pout but it soon dissolved into a small grin as he heard more about him. He went to comment when Rocky trotted in the door, "Well well here's one of your admirers...." he mused as Rocky nudged her legs before curling up under her chair with a loud yawn. By the grey around his mouth one could tell he was getting up there in years.
