"That worries me a little, Belle." Ben teased her with a grin as he ate his non chocolate covered fruit. There wasn't any chocolate to be found on his plate. Just fruit. "Guess it's a good thing I slept so much on the truck." He told her.

Ren nodded as he placed the tablet back on the table. "That is incredibly cool." He admitted as he looked over to watch her put the lid on the chili pot. Moving over to the sink, he began to clean the dishes they had used. It was obvious that he had done this before.

By this time, Caelynne had showered and changed, making her way downstairs. She poked her head into the kitchen to see the new guy still there. Sneaking in, she moved to sit in the corner, her damp hair falling into her face as she avoided making eye contact with anyone.

Keira looked to his plate with a roll of her eyes, "You're really not going to have ANY chocolate?! Youre an odd little duck...." she told him with a shake of her head as she bit into a chocolate covered strawberry. She proportioned what she ate with how she worked out but either way with her speedy little metabolism weight was never an issue.

Jeremy hopped down from the counter and plopped down next to Caelynne but not too close that she felt trapped. "Hey girlie...why you hidin'? Huh?" He asked her gently with a grin.

Liz looked back to Ren with a laugh, "Awww look you're a trained little bugger arent ya?" She teased him as he washed the dishes they'd used.

Ben laughed as he shrugged at her. "It gives me less energy and having it in large proportions is bad for you. I don't know if you've noticed, Belle, but your boy is a bit of a health nut." He said with a grin. "I used to follow a strict diet for baseball. I had this nifty little app on my Ipad that I used. Several actually. I'd monitor my calorie intake and everything." He explained to her.

Caelynne looked over briefly as Jeremy came over and blushed. She shrugged as she played with the edge of her black v-neck shirt. "Nervous." She mumbled, refusing to meet his eyes.

Ren laughed as he looked over at Liz. "This was the price to pay for always being a bad boy." He explained with a grin. "I got into trouble a lot as a kid." He admitted.

Keira rolled her eyes and pointedly popped another piece of chocolate ladden banana in her mouth. "You're a fruity head. I thought that was supposed to be me. All concerned over calories. Im pretty sure i eat more like a guy than you do, babe...." she laughed, a teasing smirk on her lips as she munched on a cookie.

Jeremy smiled with a nod, "Understandable....but come on pretty girl. Liz has an amazing smelling lunch cookin! Unless you want to eat in the corner..." he teased her, a gentle grin on his face.

Liz laughed, "You get in trouble? I find this hard to believe....." she teased him, handing him a dish cloth to dry them.

((*holes herself up in her house and locks the doors* I hate people.... lol ))

Ben laughed as he watched her, a grin on his face. "If I admit that, will you promise to keep my secret?" he asked her as he winked at her. "And I've seriously slacked since joining up with you. I've ate more crap food, or food with way more carbs, fat, and calories than I need to eat. You're a bad influence." he teased her.

Caelynne just stared at her lap as her fingers continued to play with her shirt. "Can eat it in the corner." she mumbled, jumping slightly as she heard Ren laugh loudly as she just hid behind her hair more.

Ren laughed loudly as he took the towel from her. "That just shows how little you know about me." he teased her as he shook his head, thinking of all of the times he had gotten in trouble. Of course, he had to get caught to get in trouble too. "I was a really bad kid. I acted out a lot. I'm kind of partial to pranks too." he eyes had a spark in them before it disappeared. He wiped some of the dishes dry before placing them to the side to put up. "And according to the Elders, I'm still a bad kid." he shook his head.

((I hate small dogs...-lying on a hard mattress bc my bf's new dog pissed the bed...-))

Keira smirked,  taking a nice slow bite out of a strawberry. "I don't think you're quite complaining. Besides, I think you've had enough...exercise to balance it out." she purred, a smile on her lips. "Besides, you'll need the extra calories for when I whip your ass into fighting shape...." she mused, grinning at him as she bit into the rest of her strawberry.

Jeremy gently tucked her hair behind her ears. "There. Much better. And okay, we can eat in the corner if you really wish. If you don't mind me staying, that is....?" he asked her, with a small smile. "See I'd really rather not simply leave you here in the corner...after all, nobody puts baby in the corner..." he winked, sitting so his knees were up by his chest.

Liz frowned a little as she put the dishes away, "A prankster, that I can see. But a bad kid?" she asked, not seeming to believe what he said. "I can imagine you were raised differently than the other children on the reservation. Yes?"

((Eugh! That would effin' piss me off so bad! >.< *has always been a big dog lover*))

Ben raised his eyebrow as he watched her, before chuckling at her words. "This is true... but I don't think it's quite near as much excercise as I would wish." he told her as he smiled innocently at her. Then he laughed at the next bit. "That's right. I have to look forward to you kicking my ass. Yay." he joked, but he didn't seem upset over it.

Caelynne flinched as he tucked her hair behind her ears, her cheeks turning bright red but she still would look up to his face. She didn't know why he wanted to sit with her over here. It made her feel slightly uncomfortable really, but she wouldn't say anything if only because she wanted to at least try and feel a little normal. At his next quote, she looked up at him briefly. "Dirty Dancing." she gave him a ghost of a smile before her eyes flickered back down and she went back to watching her lap.

"Yea. I never showed up to lessons, back talked the elders a lot. Well it was more like we argued over certain parts of my lessons and what I thought I should learn and what they thought I should. Got into an actualy fight with a teacher once. Okay, maybe it wasn't so much as bad. But I rebelled? Still am. I am technically, as of this moment, a run away brat." he flashed a grin, this seeming to not bother him. "But to answer your question, I was. Life on the res isn't much more different than outside of it. You grow up, go to school, and all that good stuff. I didn't get a normal childhood sadly. I stayed in the main compound for the Elders, where they supposedly raised me to be a proper Shaman. I only got to see my parents on the weekends so they wouldn't interfere with my training. My parents didn't even really care that they didn't get to see me so much. They were insanely proud that they were the parents of a shaman." he shrugged, this not seeming to bother him either. "I didn't have any other kids around. I was never really allowed play-time. If I wasn't in a lesson or training, I was sleeping, eating, or had chores to preform." he nodded his head to the dishes as an example.

Keira smirked, popping a chunk of chocolatey pineapple into her mouth as she thought about what he said. "Yep!! You're gonna be my star pupil." she informed him simply, "And of course I always reward my star pupil...." She trailed off, a flash going through her eyes before licking stray chocolate off her finger. It was so much fun messing with him.

Jeremy smiled as she spoke, "Yep! And here I thought you wouldnt get the reference...." he mused, glancing to the others before back to Cay. To be honest he had no issues eating lunch in the corner with her. It was also a way to appease Mira who would've tried to coax her to the table. Plus this way he could make sure she ate for Mira who was already a bit concerned with her well being. Jeremy didn't see a point to that. If she didn't feel comfortable with the shaman, why make the girl uncomfortable? She'd come to terms in her own way and time.

Liz listened carefully, nodding every now and then as they finished up the dishes. She looked over at him with a laugh though. "Well we're more than happy to have a runaway..." she teased him with a grin, wiping her hands off as she nodded her head back over to the stove. "Come on knife boy, I need you to cut up a load of Italian bread while I set the table." she said simply, looking over at Cay with a gentle grin

Ben watched her with amused eyes as he finished up his fruit, chuckling at her words. "Oh really?" he asked as he leaned forward, chin resting on his hand. "So what kind of reward does this star pupil get?" he asked curiously as he smiled innocently at her. He loved this girl. And all her crazy, impish ways.

"Mom's favourite. She loved Patrick Swayze." Caelynne explained with a tiny smile as she tugged on her shirt. Back before all of this, she used to watch a ton of movies. There were very few movie references that she didn't get. "There was this one movie. George and the Dragon. Where he played this sort of bad guy. It was her favourite besides Dirty Dancing." she spoke up quietly, telling him this random tidbit before realizing what she had done and shut up. When Lizbeth smiled at her, she smiled back shyly before ducking her head once more.

Ren laughed as he looked over at Liz. "Well, I don't think it matters if your happy or not now. Looks like you're stuck with me." he teased as he also cleaned and dried his hands. Walking over, he grabbed a knife as he headed to where the bread was at, and began to cut into medium sized slices.

Keira smirked a bit, "I think you can use your imagination..." she purred, leaning forward on the table as well. "I'm still gonna kick your ass in our little run later..." she told him, but it sounded more like a promise.

Jeremys smile grew as she spoke, probably the longest sentence he'd gotten out of her. Hah! He called that a success, "Well, I have to say I haven't seen that one. Carol has pretty much every movie known to man uploaded to the hard drive in the den whenever you feel like popping one on..." he reminded her, looking up as Mira walked in. The way she stood she looked...sorry?

"Liz there's a call for you..." she said softly, as she pulled her hair back up in a messy bun. She glanced to the pair in the corner with a confused smile before looking back to her friend.

Liz frowned and slowly put the plates in her hands down. "What? Who would be calling..."

"LA corioners office. You were listed as Trevor's only kin..." She interrupted softly, "They want to know what to do with the remains...."

Liz looked sick to her stomach, "Um...sure yeah..." she said softly before walking out of the kitchen without another word, avoiding Mira's attempt to stop her. Mira sighed, picking up where Lizbeth had left off. She hated baring bad news. Especially when it had to do with Liz.
