Damien nodded as he mumbled a faint thank-you to the man before he walked over to leaned against the fence as he watched his sister pet the horse, seeming to be calmed by the action. There was still a fearful flutter in her blue eyes that he wished he could make go away, but at least she wasn't stuck in the past anymore. He figuredd he'd give her a little more time with the animals before he let her head inside.

Ren looked up as he heard Violet's voice go faint before the girl straight out toppled over. He just sat there, staying out of the way, not quite sure what to do. When Lizbeth gave him something to do, he nodded with a calm face as he walked quickly towards where she had indicated and did exactly as she had instructed.

Soon enough he was walking into the room where Mira was with the others. Leaning over, he spoke up in a quiet voice. "We need you in the kitchen, Violet just sort of... fainted. She's still semi-coherent, however." he explained quickly, still exuding calm.

Adam raised his eyebrow as he pulled out his keys to open up his apartment. "Calm the fuck down, Renfield. Why are you assuming I even know where the fuck she is?" He unlocked it and opened his door, glad to be back in his own space. It wasn't cluttered like Ysabel's. He chucked the keys on the table and flopped onto the couch. "Now explain what the hell you're so uptight about. After your little French maid last night, I'd think you'd be in a better fucking mood than this."

Marcy waved a hand lightly. "Hey there," she called to whomever it was. She took another drag of her smoke, blowing rings as the snake hissed unpleasantly. "Oh shut up," she mumbled, presumably to the serpent on her stomach. She wondered vaguely where that Damien kid had wandered off to and if everything was alright. She may not be totally vested in everyone's lives, but she liked to know things were okay. Sitting up, the serpent hissed angrily and wound it's way around her arm, up to her shoulders. She rolled her eyes and let it sit there as she walked toward the barn, stubbing the cigarette out as she went.

She saw Damien leaning against a fence down by the barn. "Hey Blue Eyes. Everything alright?"

Hillary snorted, ignoring the look Tyler shot her. "Everyone has a price baby boy..." she smirked, pushing off the wall and went to say more when Carol's voice blared through the PA system of the lower level.

"Fucktards. I need everyone in conference room A. I don't giving a flying crap what you're doing, shit needs to end now. Conference room A in 3 minutes. Let's go shitheads!!"

Hillary and mira couldn't help but laugh as Tyler stood, "We'll pick this up later." He told them, gesturing for them to head out before him.

His fiancé couldn't help herself, grinning as she walked up beside Sawyer with a knowing smirk. "Get used to that voice, Kid. It'll be screaming at you a lot...that belongs to your new superior." she smirked, Mira behind them with a shake of her head as people from all over filed out of doors.

She looked over at Ren then, nodding as her stomach dropped. "Her powers are developing....look I need you to follow them. Tell me everything you hear." she told him before darting upstream and upstairs to the kitchen. The sooner Keira got here the better...

"I really don't have time for the bullshit right now, Jensine. Zeke was drunk as fuck, but he said you and Bel caught a cab together, not able to keep your hands off of each other. I need to talk to her." Saul snapped. He HAD been a good mood this morning. A very good mood. Until Zeke had called him. Then it went downhill from there. "Are you with Ramirez or not?"

Damien was watching Caelynne, making sure to keep an eye on her when he heard another voice. Blinking, he looked over at as he saw Marcy standing there. "Yea. I'm fine." he muttered. "Still have my lighter?" he asked as he held his hand out. He stressing out pretty bad now.

Caelynne had heard the voice and froze as her hand tightened in Silvermist's mane briefly before seeming to sidle her way to the opposite side of the horse, hiding herself from Marcy's view. That was the last thing she wanted right now, was somebody who wasn't Mira, or Damien around.

Ren nodd at Mira's words as he looked at the others. He had no clue what the hell was going on, but he figured he might as well follow along. No information was useless information in his books anyways.

Caleb wasn't happy and it showed on his face. He stood up and filed out with the others, leaving Sawyer behind. Sawyer looked to Hillary with a smile. "She sounds like an absolute gem. Trust me, I am so very much looking forward to having my head bit off every day. It'll be like I'm at home again with my Dad." He hopped up to his feet, winking at her as he strode off, following the stream of people.

~

Marcy nodded, the snake hissing angrily as Damien held his hand out toward her. She shushed it, even reaching up to smack it on the nose...like one would a dog. The snake nipped at her, but didn't come close to biting her. It settled around her neck like a very live necklace, it's beady eyes focused on Damien.

"Yeah here." She brought it out and gave it to him, watching as Caelynne danced out of sight. "...I don't want to upset anyone... but as long as things are okay, I'll let you guys be. Thanks for the light, Blue Eyes." She nodded to him.

~

Adam rolled his eyes. "No, Renfield, I just left her. What's the deal. Tell me and I'll go back down there and let you talk to her."

Damien watched the snake with curious eyes. That... was new. "What's with the snake?" he asked, almost calling it a pet by the way it acted. He didn't want to get his face bitten, however. It seemed to have feelings or some shit like that. Taking the lighter, he pulled out a cigarette and lit it up with a sigh. Jesus Christ, this was a long ass fucking night. "No problem." he shrugged off her thanks.

You could hear Saul sigh. "That blockade around LA? Yea, if she doesn't get out asap, Ramirez is gonna be- hold on a second." he placed his hand over the mouthpiece as you could hear the muted sounds of conversation. After a couple of minutes, Saul could be heard again.

"Change of plans. Your plan just fubarred, Jensine. You need to get the hell out too." Saul's voice rumbled over the phone. "You're on the goverment's shit list as well. If you two don't get out. And now. You'll be either a) killed, or b) sent to a fascility for being a freak." he told him bluntly, not sugar coating it at all.

Marcy reached up and scratched the snake's head, it's tongue flicking out and wrapping around her finger. "You seem pretty tense, Blue. Would Caelynne mind if I talked to you for a bit?" She asked the question as if it were directed toward Damien, but her voice was aimed at Caelynne. She really didn't want to bother the girl...and if her presence did that, she'd leave without being offended.

~

Adam sat up a little straighter. "Hold on. Slow the fuck down, Saul. What are you talking about? You know about this blockade? What the fuck is it?" Adam's voice had lost all humor in it. "And why am I in trouble. I haven't done a fucking thing, save tell an asshole to shove it."

Damien paused at her question before he turned his head to look over at Caelynne. He couldn't see her due to Misty being in the way, but he saw her head poke out as she shook her head.

"Nah, I'm good for a minute. What's up?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. He tossed his hair out of his eyes as the light from a nearby lamp glinted off of the tiny silver hoop in his eyebrow. He didn't move away, though. Just in case Caelynne needed him. She came first now, no matter what.

Saul huffed out in impatience. "I had heard rumours. Men getting transferred to a special squadron. Zeke just solidified it. It's a blockade for freaks. They're cornering them so they can pick them off one by one. You're on the list of confirmed freaks. Ramirez too. I don't know what the fuck you did, Jensine. And frankly, I don't give a fucking shit. What you did, what the fuck you are. You just need to get out of LA asap. And you need to tell Ramirez to pick up her goddamned phone."

"Oh nothing. You just seem a little stressed out, is all." She walked over to the fence and hopped onto it, facing away from Caelynne for the girl's benefit. That way, it wouldn't freak her out. She dangled her legs and the snake hissed and slithered down her arm, winding around it like some kind of weird armlet. It's head rested on the back of her hand. "I always called myself a Charmer. You know... like a snake charmer you'd see in movies. It's not just snakes though...they just love me the best. It's anything that has venom in it... spiders, scorpions, snakes, frogs, fish, ants, jelly fish. You name it, I tame it." She looked down as the snake settled on her arm, constricting only enough not to fall off. "It's kind of weird...and really useless. Most of the time. What about you? What's your poison?"

Adam went silent for a moment. Nothing...and then all of a sudden, the witch hunts were back on. He'd worked for months trying to tame that unrest here... and he was just one man. This was just a painful reminder of that fact....and that the government had more control than they'd ever allow anyone to realize.

"Getting out isn't going to be a walk on the fucking beach, Renfield. Especially if we're marked." He stood up, going into his room. He opened his closet and pulled out an old military-issued backpack. He'd kept it fully stocked for just this reason. "If this is a real blockade, that means air, sea, and land are going to be covered." He put the phone on speaker and threw it onto his bed as he started getting re-dressed.
