Mira smiled with a nod,"We'll try again later...." she told her simply as the dogs ran in after her. She looked up with a shake of her head as Damien lit up. Nasty habit but she was all too used to it around here. She looked up as the sun began to set, smiling at the colors the sky was turning. The garage door opened then and Tyler emerged, looking a bit frazzled but happy. "You ok there, Ty?" She asked with a laugh but it faultered at the look on his face.

"Carol just intercepted a feed between two Feds..." he told her, giving Damien and his sister a small wave of recognition. "they're trying to track down Lizbeth..."

Mira turned a little pale. "Why the hell do they want her?! She's never done anything to--"

"They need her to confirm the identity of her brother's remains...she's the only next of kin listed..." He interrupted with a small grin coming to his lips.

Mira let out a slow but relieved breath, "That's why they're coming home...Trevor is dead and I say good fucking riddance to the devil incarnate!!" she said, sounding much more violent than usual...

When Tyler appeared, Caelynne had somehow magically disappeared. Damien just gave him a brief wave of recognition as he focused back on his cigarette. He paid attention to what they were saying though. Trevor. He was pretty sure he had heard that name before. He had had a brief conversation once with Lizbeth when he found Caelynne watching her curiously. She was a sweet girl. And apparently her brother was not. They were total opposites. Like her and Carol. He still hadn't figured out how that relationship worked out either.

When he heard Mira of all people sound happy and rather violent that the bastard was dead, he looked over briefly before shaking his head in amusement and looked back out on the setting sun. He must have been a real bastard if the Queen of nice was having violent thoughts about him.

"Damien." he heard a quiet voice, and looked over and magically found his sister sitting next to him. People complained all the time at how quiet he walked, but he was an amature compared to his sister. She had scared him a couple of times with her random popping ups. He wanted to know how she did it.

"What's up, Cay?" he asked with a smile.

"Who's Trevor?" she asked, and he knew that she was speaking too quietly for the other two to hear.

"Lizbeth's mean brother. He was a bastard. Don't worry about it." he told her as she nodded. Her eyes darted over to Mira and Tyler before shrinking into the shadows more.

"I thought you were going to go out with the dogs?" he asked her, nudging her and encouraging her slightly.

"Mira. I'm waiting for her." she said and he really did smile that time.

"I think she might be busy for a little bit. Want me to send her out to you when she's done?" he asked and she nodded. He turned to look at them and when he turned around again, Caelynne was already out the door.

Tyler nodded, "No one knowa how or why--"

"Hes a sociopathic, woman beating, egotist who likes fucking with peoples heads and leave them die." Mira filled in, as if it had answered the why portion. She looked up as the door closed then looked back to Tyler as he continued, laughing a little at her outburst.

"Yes he is all of those things...but for all we know we're the only ones who knew that about him. At least Liz and Keira can finally sleep easily...Carol is tracking the feeds for more info." He looked to Damien then, "Once you're done out here, carol needs you to hold down the other lines and I know your meere presence pisses her off but please dont push it...." He warned the younger guy, giving Mira a nod as she headed out the door after Caelynn. If there was one person Carol was protective of it was Liz. If anything got in the way of her finding concrete evidence that the bastard was dead.....

Mira smiled over at the young girl, but caught her as shadow nearly knocked her down by jumping up. Dog probably weighted as much as the young girl is not more. "Hey hey! Down you brat. Five years old and you still act like a puppy...." she laughed, steadying the girl before letting go, "So, got any ideas for dinner tonight?" She asked Caelynn simply, knowing she probably wouldnt get an answer but it was worth a shot.

((*stabs internet for being so difficult* ))

Damien took one last drag from his cig as he gave Tyler a sarcastic salute. "You got it boss man." he said with a roll of his eyes. Standing up, he tossed the butt of his cigarette into a little container for them and headed back inside. Going back down to the command center, he didn't say anything to Carol as he put his headset back on and sat in his chair. Flipping the channels over to him, he made sure that nothing would bother her while she worked. They may hate each other and not get along, but they made a pretty damned good team when they wanted to.

Caelynne laughed as the dog tried to jump on her. Her laughs were the most rare thing of all. It was practically silent, but you could hear a little sound of delight as she petted the dog. "Good dog." she told Shadow as she looked over at Mira with a shrug. She walked quietly along with the girl for a little while, making sure the dogs got plenty of exercise. She even threw a stick for them a couple of times. "New people?" she spoke up finally as she looked over at the girl through her tangled hair.

Tyler ignored the sarcasm, going to head back downstairs when he saw a tiny blonde head peeking from the kitchen doorway. "Violet I can see you...." he chuckled, squatting down so he was about her height. The girl slowly came into view, nervously twisting her long white-blonde hair. Tyler frowned a bit, brushing some of her hair out of her eyes. "What's wrong, vi?"

"It happened again...." her voice was shaky and quiet, letting Tyler pull her in for a hug. "When is Keira getting here?" She mumbled, squeezing her eyes shut as her head hurt worse and worse.

"They'll be here tomorrow night...alright?" He said gently, scooping her up easily in his arms as he stood. Like her sister she was tiny for her age. "Come on...let's get you something for your head, okay sissy?" He told her, feeling her nod against his chest. He knew powers where coming in, Mira had confirmed that, they just couldn't figure out what powers exactly they were....

Mira walked along with Caelynn, smiling at the girl as she interacted with the dogs. The girl had such a gentle nature about her...She looked up as the girl spoke again. She nodded, new people came in and out every day or so but Caelynn never really interacted with any. Mira had kind of made sure of that. She didnt want the girl too bogged down with people. "Yeah...some old friends of ours are coming back. They were chased out with the raids a few years ago. Damien is a medical doctor and Keira is a fighter and a tech geek like your brother. Both are special like us. They're bringing a few others but I dont know much else...." she told her gently, a smile on her lips.

Caelynne nodded as she threw the stick for the dogs again. She paused for a moment before speaking up again. "Silvermist's Keira?" she asked curiously as she looked over at Mira. She found it funny that the one guy had the same name as her brother. She wondered if they were anything alike. Probably not. She didn't really know a lot of people like her brother. And Damien knew nothing about anything medical. But she wanted to know a little more about them. The main memebers around here were excited about them coming back. So they must be important. And it meant they would be sticking around.

Mira nodded, "Yep...one in the same. Only, they don't know theyre coming back to their old home." She laughed slightly, "Keira is a spitfire but she's also really sweet. She'll be out here alot too. I think you'll like her...you know Violet? That's her little sister." She told her, laughing as the dogs ran back and forth to scare a few geese from the lawn. "Damien is Lizbeth's cousin. Hes insanely sweet and kinda dorky but he's over all a really nice guy." She added with a small shrug, knowing the others were freaking out over their return so a lot of buzz was going through the base.

Caelynne nodded as she watched the dogs run around and goof off. Violet was a cute little girl. If she was anything like her sister, however, Keira would be an energetic handful. She didn't know how things would go and it made her extremely nervous. She figured if it was bad enough, she'd just disappear off the radar for a couple of days. "The others? I heard others." she asked Mira curiously. Apparently, they were supposed to get a rather large influx of people. The guy HIllary recruited, the two with Lizbeth, and however many came back with Damien and Keira. Last number she heard was six.

Mira nodded, "Hillary brought back the ray of sunshine from earlier. He seems alright...some kind of shaman. I don't know anything more about him yet though except he seems to know Ben, a teleporter coming back with Damien and Keira. Ben seems like a sweet enough guy, if anything a little naive. I don't really know about the other two coming with them." She told her with a small shrug. She didn't want to worry the girl with a possible second Carol. "As far as who Liz is bringing back Im not sure. They're brothers, both normal, ones a fighter the other is a techie..." she added with a sweet smile. She watched as the sun set over the farm yard. "You know, if it gets to be too much you can always hang out out here or in the kitchen with me and Liz..." she offered gently, looking back to Caelynn with a smile.

Caelynne nodded as she listened curiously to Mira talk about the others. She frowned as she counted the numbers. She was off. By one. "You missed one." she told her as she tilted her head. Maybe it wasn't common knowledge, but she knew deep in her gut, like when her power worked that she was missing one. There was another person coming with the large group. There was six of them. Wrapping her arms around her stomach like she usually did, she looked out across the farm. Being out here in the country was much better for her frazzled nerves than living in the bustling city. It was calmer and quieter. She nodded at Mira's offere to join her and Lizbeth, thinking it would depend on how things went.
