((Oh Ysabel.....-shakes head- lmao))

Trevor chuckled, more at what she said than how she meant it. "It's not a problem, darlin'. I know working with Jensine can be rough." He smiled a bit at her before he continued eating. "But if anyone can deal with the stubborn bull its you, and hey at least you know something as to why he is the way he is." He offered with a light shrug. "So, how long have you been in the land of plastic surgey and overpriced shoes?" He asked with a warm grin. His mind was still whirring about her but he kept those to himself. That was one power he admitted to missing, the ability to read minds. Sure he could reach in and mess with memories but as to what they were currently thinking not so much.

((I warneddd her! Lol))

Ysabel laughed before shrugging. "It's true." Obviously not lacking in the modesty department. "According to my abuela, I can't have anything less than a small challenge. I thrive on them." She teased. "And I've only been here for three days." She grinned. "Pretty much all my stuff is still in boxes." She admitted to him. "It's a serious culture shock."

Trevor chuckled, nodding as she spoke. "Try being from the deep south and being transfered up here!" he mused, "I totally understand what you mean. I mean Rodeo drive is a trip within itself..." he shook his head with a shrug and a small laugh. "You'll get used to it..." He promised her with a smile, "Challenging yourself is the best way to go. It gets boring being a big fish in a little pond..."

"Ahh... I heard but I'd be a little nervous to go. Sounds frightening." Ysabel joked with a grin. "So other than that. How are you finding nice sunny Cali? I mean, look how close we are to the beach. I've never been to the beach before." She mused. "And that's true. I love challenges. Always have." She smirked as she worked on her food.

"To be perfectly honest its a bit muggy for my taste. I'm used to heat, don't get me wrong, but I'm used to a dry heat." He mused, a small smirk on his face as well. "The beaches are incredible but to really experience them head out at night. Its really something." He told her with a small shrug as he ate.

Ysabel smiled and laughed. "This mugginess is very different. I felt like I was drowning today while out and about." She admitted. "And with my work schedule, it's going to have to be at night. I get that early morning shift. Yay." She sounded so excited. Not. Back at home she had the graveyard shift. That's when everything exciting happened.

((Eugh... humidity *eye twitch* how I feel their pain. Try living in a swamp! Not. Fun.))

((I was gonna wait for this, but I'm bored now lol ))

Aeryn woke up around 2 in the morning, having had problems sleeping all night. After Damien had fallen asleep is when she spent her time planning. While she had been drawing earlier was when she had set everything up. It was hard to plan to sneak out with five people in a small apartment. Even harder when the person your sleeping with can read minds. It had all started after her chat with Keira on the balcony. Well, after the chat with Darius actually. She had promised Sydney that if she helped them, nothing would happen to her. And she kept her promises. She knew the others would never agree, so she had planned in secret to get the girl back. It was the least she could so. So slipping from Damien's arms, she knew that she had precious little time.

Heading into the bathroom, she quickly got dressed in the clothes she had hidden there earlier which consisted of dark skinny jeans, a black cami, and some black boots. Throwing her hair up into a pony tail, she slipped her switchblade into her boot. Hurrying out of the bathroom, she placed her note written earlier on the kitchen counter before slipping out of the door. Damien would wake up soon and she would have to make some progress. She knew the others were going to be mad, but she couldn't leave Sydney with Hu. Her conscious wouldn't allow her.

When she was a safe distance away, she stopped at a pay phone and dialed the number that she had memorized earlier on Damien's phone.

Gone to get Sydney. Be back by morning hopefully. If not, leave without me.

XX,
Aeryn

It was short but to the point. And left very obviously found on the kitchen counter. You could tell that she had been planning this for a while.

((Don't know if you can see this but her boots: http://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&source=mog&hl=en&gl=us&client=ms-android-verizon&tab=wi&q=black%20boots%20for%20women&sa=N&biw=533&bih=239&sei=WsqyT8fNCIf-8ASjiYzvCA#p=0 never tried this from my phone lol))

((Bahahah you beat me to the punch!!!!))
((And no I can't see it :())

Keira woke up around 2:30 in the morning, her consiousness not allowing her to sleep. She slowly and gingerly slipped from Ben's grasp, slipping on a big t-shirt before heading into the bathroom. She leaned over the sink, feeling sick to her stomach as she ran cool water over her face and neck. Something about this whole situation had her in knots. She knew this whole plan was stupid, but she had to try. She knew Ben wouldn't take long to wake up with the temperature difference. She dressed quickly in a black v-neck t-shirt, black skinny jeans and her favorite knife concealing boots. In her pink lipstick she wrote, Live, Laugh, Love and above all don't fear. on the mirror in her loopey cursive. She pulled her hair back into a tight braid, glancing at herself one last time before heading back into her room. She silently slipped into the jacket from earlier, her gun back in the waistband to her jeans. She headed down the hall, pausing at the note on the table. Shaking a little, she picked it up, reading it over quickly she nearly dropped it. She'd been going to get Trevor. He needed to be on a platter for her to ever sleep peacefully. After all Sydney and her stalker cousin were the reason Trevor had found her...but Aeryn didn't understand what she was doing when it came to Hu. If something happened to her Damien wouldn't be the same, to say the least. She'd seen him hit rock bottom....Keira took a breath, setting the note back down. She debated on what to do, but overall she couldn't let Aeryn do this herself...but was she really going to leave Damien as he panicked? She heard rustling down the hall, and froze...

Damien looked confused as he headed out, figuring Aeryn had come out for a drink or something, but not overly concerned. He paused when he saw Keira, though, taking in her outfit slowly and his expression changed. She handed him the note without a word and he read it. Once. Twice. As if he read it enough it would change. He looked at Keira and though he looked okay on the outside she knew his head was whirling.

"Damien, I do-" she was stopped as he held up his hand, trying to find his words for a moment.

"Where the hell did you think you were going...." he asked instead, mentally snatching onto Aeryn's wavelength albeit a bit painfully. You're fucking mental, you realize this!? What the hell are you on you think this is a good idea. God dammit, Aeryn! Answer me! He sounded mad but more than anything he sounded panicked.

"You know where....Damien I...Damien look at me. She can't do this on her own."

"You know what they'll do to you!? No way in fucking hell, Keira." He ran a hand through his hair, his voice sounding more like a growl. They weren't leaving without her. At least he wasn't. He had gotten good at hiding anger but this, this was going to send him over the edge.

Trevor chuckled softly, "I understand that....." he mused, but shrugged a little, "Unfortunately there are days I don't see a spec of sun because of the damn building I work in but it just makes days off that much more rewarding, you know?" he mused, "Mugginess, however, I don't think I'll ever get used to...."

((Lol! Great minds think alike? Haha and damn... :( ))

Aeryn winced as she heard Damien's voice in her head. Maybe she hadn't gotten far enough. Damien... like it or not, I'm still doing it. I'm the one who knows Hu. You don't. I can't leave Sydney with him. Somebody has to do it and I refuse to let you guys do it. she reasoned with him in a calm voice. She could hear both the anger and the panic. God, if she made it back she was going to be in the doghouse for weeks. But if it meant saving Sydney, it would be worth it. As long as they were safe, and she saved Sydney, then nothing else mattered.

Ysabel chuckled as she shook her head. "You live in Cali and you never get sun. Isn't that illegal here?" She joked. "And I think I'll adjust eventually. To the mugginess that is." She grinned.

Keira watched Damien from the stool she sat on, idly swinging her feet while ringing her hands. She watched the corner of his eye tick, thinking he'd probably go bald if he kept running his hand through his hair so harshly. "D.." she quickly quieted at the look he gave her. He hadn't yelled yet, so she was getting anxious. She knew he was talking to Aeryn and it was only a matter of time before his anger rained down on her. She was rather relieved she was going to get the brunt of it because at this stage she knew he wouldn't be able to control his abilities. She knew how to block him, Aeryn didn't.

I don't give a flying fuck! You tell me. You tell us. You don't go galivanting off into the night as some hero! Hu is a sociopathic nutjob. If he gets his claws in you he won't let go. he snapped, trying with all of his might to reign some of his emotion in but he couldn't get a good enough grip. You know the only good thing to come out of this, and trust me its only slight, was that because you left the bed I got up and guess who I found dressed and ready, gun loaded, to go straight the other sociopathic murder's den!? When he turned his eyes back on Keira she let out the smallest flinch of pain, her head hurting like she got smacked upside the head. She had to keep it together, for him.

Trevor chuckled with a shrug, "Hey, I don't stay this pale by choice, darlin'...." he mused jokingly, showing her the back of his hand which was, in fact, white. Unlike Daniel, however, he had no scars and the tattoo and tracker had been removed. It was the healer experiment working its magic. In fact, there wasn't so much as a blemish or flaw on his skin. "Adaptation is the key..." he added with a grin of his own as he took another biteful,.

And if I told you, you wouldn't have let me go. Aeryn pointed out ti him as she ran her fingers through her hair, which wasn't as easy as usual since she actually had her hair up for once. She was going to say something else when she paused. Keira was going to do what?! This made her very angry. But she was glad that Damien had stopped her. damien, I know you're mad, but I have to do this. I can't leave Sydney with Darius. I'll be careful, I promise. But... you have to go tomorrow if I don't show up. I'm not playing.

Ysabel looked over with a chuckle at his pale skin. "You should ask for a sunroof." She told him as she worked on her food. "Or you should be like me. Where it's impossible to be pale." She showed him her smooth caramel coloured skin.
