Keira recognized the voice and held a hand out, grabbing her by the wrist to stop the other girl. "Claire, its Keira. You know, the waitress that probably "spit in your food"." she said, surprized at herself for being so...calm. She let go then, hands back on her hips, "What are you doin' out here anyway?" she asked, running a hand through her soaked, but quickly drying hair. It was a perk to being a greenhouse.

((D: But... but... :( I want it back! ))

Ben just sat there watching, blinking as he recognized the woman's voice. Claire? What was she doing out here? He stayed quiet as he started walking towards the shore, ready to see what would happen. It was a small world here!

Aeryn looked at the three choices before snickering. "Gladiator is the obvious choice! Besides, I can't stand Leonardo Di Caprio. What an idiot." she rolled her eyes. "I'm happy with violence and gore... I wonder what that says about me." she sounded amused.

Claire stopped, looking back at the girl. Oh. So that was why the voice sounded so familiar. Great.

Claire glanced at the girl, then out to the ocean where whoever she was with was coming in from the water. Claire brushed herself off; she was wearing a form fitting black and lime green tank top and matching running pants. She smiled lightly. "Sorry. I didn't recognize you when you weren't yelling at me." She sighed and shrugged. "Running. I try to get at least 5 miles in a day.... today was a good day, I got more. What are you doing out here?"

Keira looked back as Ben came up the shore before looking back to Claire with a shrug, "Just came out here for some peace with a new friend." she answered simply, ignoring the other comment. She sure as hell wasn't going to be apologizing for that anytime soon. She played with the belt loops on her shorts as she waited for Ben to catch up. She knew there was something off about the woman in front of her, she just couldn't tell what.

Damien laughed with a nod, "Means I'm probably here drinking scotch with a sociopath..." he mused, exchanging the disks before flopping back down on the couch. He took his shot of liqour before setting it back on the table and resting into the couch.

Ben finally caught up with the Kiera where she was talking to Claire at the shoreline, and shook his head to lodge off some of the water. "Hey Claire." he said with a smile, sounding nice. He didn't dislike the girl. She seemed nice to him. Of course, he was nice to most people.

Aeryn chuckled as she finished up her slice of pizza and turned her eyes to the TV screen. "Eh, at least you'll die having fun. Right?" she asked as she batted her eyelashes at him before snickering. "Oh it's amazing the shit you can get away with when people actually believe you to be insane."

Keira felt increasingly short as she felt Ben beside her, standing at an even 5 foot. She looked around them, making sure no one else was going to be making a surprise visit. She vaguely thought it had been a good idea to keep her camisole on to go in the water with the current predicament. Her clothes had since dried, but dried where they were. Her camisole not leaving much to the imagination and neither were her shorts. She was also somewhat thankful for the privacy of the night in that case....

"I suppose there are worse ways to die..." Damien laughed as she batted her eyelashes, "You sound like you would have experience in this..." he mused curiously as they watched the opening scene of Gladiator.

Claire looked over, seeing that it was Ben Keira was with. Huh. She smiled at Ben, a little warmer than her smile to Keira had been. "Hey Ben. Fancy seeing you two out here, splashing around in the ocean at night. Small world despite the big city, isn't it?" She shifted a little. "No more issues with any cops, right? Local or Fed, I should say." She looked to Keira when she said Feds. She wondered if the girl had any notion that Adam had probably protected them. Those were trained searchers; those Feds knew what to look for...and that one girl, the real pleasant one with the ice, had nearly given them all away.

Keira looked back to Claire then, stiffening a bit, "Yeah, we've been fine." she said, "What I don't get is why your little buddy couldn't have just warned us. We know how to run. If my friend out hadn't freaked her out she would've been fine. The warrents were as useless as forged." She paused then, a little lightbulb going off in her head. "He wasn't there for him, he was there for you. He was there to warn you." Keira narrowed her eyes at the reporter, crossing her arms loosely across her chest. "Alright, what's your deal, Claire?"

"Heh. I was just thinking that myself." Ben admitted with a smile before shrugging. "Not yet, thankfully. It's pretty quiet about now which is nice." he told her as he looked over at Kiera.

Aeryn smiled as she leaned back, her eyes distancing. "There was this one time. When my sisters and I." she shook her head with a laugh. "May-Lin, and Tisha had convinced me to be crazy so we could get free food from the local McDonald's in the town we were visiting." she snickered. "I was so good at it, even they were convinced. Of course Linda and Dave, our foster parents didn't find it too funny. We all got a kick out of it anyways."

Damien shook his head with a chuckle, "I can see you pulling off crazy well..." he mused, his voice holding none of the southern accent Keira's did. She sounded adorable with it, he sounded like a hick. "Foster family?" he asked curiously, it was something new about her. Keira and him always said they'd never ask about a person's past unless they seemed willing to share. Aeryn had never seemed very willing...
