((Eugh! I got soooo tired of it doing that to me. So now I copy every post I make before I post it.))

Ben stood there awkwardly, not quite sure what to do. What was wrong? When Damien put his brother out with some drugs, he felt bad for the guy. He hoped they could fix it up. So when Damien asked for his help, he jumped at the opportunity. "Not a problem." He told him as he walked over and kneeled down on Daniels other side.

"Don't know what that means, but I'll do whatever I can to help." Aeryn told Damien, as she reached over and squeezed his hand briefly, having seen the flashes of fear in his green eyes.

Damien nodded, giving her a small smile before looking to Ben, "Apply pressure to his forearm, just enough to hold it steady...Aeryn, I need you to grab the scapel and tongs...." Both were brand new and still in their sterile packaging. Somewhat of a bonus of having supplies at school that were under very low guard. He got the gauze ready near by him as he waited, going over the scenario in his head. "There is a bullet shard in his arm...its pressing on a nerve center in his muscle causing the pain and spasms..." he told the others, taking a breath.

Ben nodded as he did what Damien told him, holding Daniel's arm firmly as Aeryn grabbed what he needed, pulling them out of the bag and handing them to Damien.

"Anything else right now?" She asked him, wincing at the sound of what happened.

"Grab me a bowl from the cabinet?" he asked as he started work, his cuts slow and deliberate. As he focused on that, Keira kept an eye on Daniel's pulse and breathing.

She looked to Aeryn, "Hey, snow? When your done I need you over here...I just need you to place your hand on his forehead to keep him cool.." she said softly before looking back down to Daniel. She wanted this over soon..she hated this crap. Honestly she looked kind of pale.

Aeryn nodded, rising and walking over to the cabinet to grab a bowl. "Sure, Key." She told her friend with a small smile, seeming to not be phased by this at all, keeping a rather calm head. Handing the bowl to Damien, she walked over and knelt next to Keira. Placing her hand gently onto Daniel's forehead, she cooled her already chilled hand a little more for a good temperature for him.

Ben himself felt a little pale when he realized what Damien had to do. He had had his trips to the emergency room when he was younger (luckily never being caught as abnormal since it was always a broken bone), but he had never had to wtiness something like this. The poor bastard. He didn't envy Daniel at all.

A few minutes later, and a whole bowl of gauze, there was a clunk of metal into the bowl. "Finally...." Damien sighed as he began cleaning his brother up and stitching him back up neatly. The shaking in Daniel's arm began to subside and his breathing began to even out. "He'll be fine....now he needs to rest...." he added, never looking up from his work. Keira nodded, letting out a breath she'd been holding. She looked back down to Daniel, his features finally relaxing, kissing the top of his head. She was relieved all of his work hadn't been for nothing...,

Damien wrapped his brother's arm and stood to throw out the bowl and it's contents as he spoke. "I just need another person to help me get him to the couch..." he added, throwing his shirt also in the trash and washing his hands clean of blood. When he turned his back to the group, they could see a "75" tattooed on his right shoulder in elaborately patterned numbers. Keira nodded again, knowing she was simply too short to help at this stage....

Ben moved back with a deep breath once Damien had finished. He never knew something like this could be so stressful. He took another breath as he slowly let go of Daniel's arm. He felt better once hre realized he could breath normal, not knowing that he had practically held his breath the whole time. Standing up, he looked to Damien. "I'll help. Not a problem." He told the man as he looked back towards Daniel. Between the two of them, moving him wouldn't be a problem.

Aeryn sat up as well, tugging on her friends arm before letting go. She still wasn't quite a fan of constant human contact. "C'mon, Key. We can go get some stuff to make the couch comfy." She told her friend as she headed towards the hallways. Anything to help her friend. Daniel had Keira and Damien watching out for him. She would look after them. Damien more than Key since her friend also had boy toy to look after her.

Keira looked up hesitantly before nodding, gingerly resting Daniel's head on the floor as she stood and followed Aeryn. She barely registered the wet patch on her sweats, squeezing Damien's shoulder gently as she walked by. She led Aeryn to the other hall closet, pulling down spare pillows and sheets. She handed them to Aeryn without a word. Her mind was too busy racing through what had just happened. She paused, walking into the bathroom and grabbing a small vile of pills. Daniel would definetly need something for the pain when he came to...

Damien nodded to Ben, crouching down by his brother's head, "Once the girls finish setting up the couch I want you to lift his lower half on my mark. This has to be one smooth motion." He told him, his voice was surprisingly calm considering he'd just removed a bullet shard from his brother.

Aeryn followed Keira, helping her gather the stuff. "C'mon, Key. See it'll be okay." She offered with a small smile. She wasn't usually really good with the comforting role. Walking back to the living room, she helped set up the couch so the boys could place Daniel on it. Once it was set up, she stood back. "Okay, you can bring him over." She told the guys.

Ben nodded as he waited patiently for the girls to finish. Once they got the go ahead from Aeryn, he looked to Damien and waited for his signal.

Damien looked back to Ben with a nod, "On three. One, two, three." He hoisted his brother up, careful of his arm and head as he did so. Keira watched from the doorway as they carried him over to the couch. She hated worrying, hated being scared...and Daniel just gave her a heart attack. She watched as they gently placed him on the couch, but not moving forward except to put the pills on the end table. Damien stepped back with a sigh, running a hand through his hair. Daniel couldn't afford to be on the run for at least another day....

Keira squatted against the wall, hands on her knees. She looked down as she felt something warm and sticky against her arm and leg. Lifting her arm she saw the red sheen, "Awesome..." she sighed and stood back up, heading down the hall to the bathroom to clean herself up. Damien nodded to Ben, Just go make sure she's okay... he looked to Aeryn, "He's going to be out for a few hours at least..." he sighed, running a hand over his face, "I should have seen that before...."
