Aeryn felt an excited little flip in her stomach as Damien kissed her, her hands automatically moving to loop around his neck loosely, one hand finding its way into his hair. When he pulled back, she had a content smile on her face. "Morning." She murmured as she looked into his eyes with a smirk. "That was a rather inspiring wake up call, Shea." She teased him lightly as she ran her fingers through his hair, not willing to move back just yet.

Ben nodded, knowing that he had to take this seriously. She was trying to help him in the end after all. Even if the immediate reason was probably her wanting to kick his ass. He focused on throwing solid, full punches as she taught him, thinking that they weren't half bad. He still needed a little work just for that small bit, his stance a little off, his arm not extending quite right when he through his punch. His wrist wasn't locked. But still, he was making good progress.

Damien chuckled as he ran a hand though her hair, kissing her in response as his other hand wrapped around her waist. He pulled back a little, though, when his hand discovered a stray piece of Oreo...”Well, I think we need food, showers and then we can enjoy the show...” he laughed, a lopsided grin on his face. Looking down at her he couldn't help but think that everything he went through to get to this point was completely worth it.

“Give me one more. Stop at full extension.” She told him but her voice wasn't quite as demanding. Keira adjusted his arm, nudging his feet to correct his stance and get him back on the balls of his feel. She pivoted his hips just bit before stepping back. “Give me ten more....then we'll move on from there onto whatever you think you need the most help on before we spar.” She told him, tilting her head to the side a bit as she watched him. She knew this was better in the long run; at least he'd have something of a chance should anything happen. She pushed the thought away as she watched him. If something happened to him she'd never forgive herself...

Aeryn smiled, happily kissing him back as she pressed against him. She didn't think she would enjoy this so much to be honest. When he pulled back, she found herself puting. She did smirk with a tiny chuckle, however, at his words. "Sounds like a fun morning." She told him as she traced his lips with her finger lightly. She found that she rather enjoyed the dopey, moronic smile on his face. "Too bad we have that show to attend, however." She sighed as she pulled back. "Looks like I'll have to take my shower all alone." She looked at him coyly through her eyelashes. "See in a little bit, Shea." And with a smirk, she sashayed out of his room with an extra swing in her step, looking at him only one more time over her shoulder before closing the door behind her. She restrained the giggles bubbling up as she headed to the bathroom for her shower, feeling quite accomplished.

Ben threw another punch, nodding and listening carefully, taking note of her corrections. Breathing deep, he gave her ten more punches, looking much better as he applied her corrections. "Before we begin, can I learn some defensive stances or something? Because no offense, belle, but I don't want to come out of here looking like I got jumped by a troupe of marines." He told her. It would be better for him to learn defensive manuevers anyways.

Damien chuckled, shamelessly watching her as she left, “Tease...” He shook his head, grabbing his stuff and heading into Keira's much smaller bathroom. He was done and dressed within 10 minutes, damp hair a disheveled, but still atractive mess on his head. His plaid button down hugged him just right, as did his dark but faded jeans. Suddenly, one had a picture of how he'd looked as a true southern boy. He wasn't going anywhere important today; why should he care? He put Aeryn's duffel on the inside of the doorway of the bathroom before waiting patiently outside the door. He looked down the hall as he heard music and Keira's orders. If anyone was going to whip that boy into shape it was her...

“You two finally kiss and make up?”

Damien jumped, looking up to find Daniel lounging in the top of the hallway opening. “Don't do that! Scared the crap out of me!”

“I know, hence why I did it...” he grinned.

Keira watched him again very carefully, nodding as he asked for more defensive moves. “I'll show you blocks, but to master those you need to keep your head up, alert, and use them. Once we start sparring you'll see what I mean...” She showed him the basic four blocks; upper, middle, side and low. “each one has to be rigid, precise, and strong. Remember to block with your forearm, not your wrist. On my count I want to see each of those in the order I showed you then switch arms. There's one more that's simple but we'll do that next. Ready. 1.2. 3. 4. 1. 2. 3. 4.”

Damien didn't have to wait for too terrible long before Aeryn came back out looking clean, her hair a dark red since it was still wet. She had pinned it up sloppily to keep it off her back and shirt. She was wearing a very short pair of light wash shorts that rode super low on her hips. Raising her eyebrow, she looked up at Damien with a smirk, hand propped on her hip. "Waiting on somebody, Shea?" She asked him, sounding amused.

Ben nodded as he slowly tried out each move she taught him. It was slow going at first. And he was sloppy, but you could tell that he was really trying his hardest. Soon enough, he was shaping up and you could see improvement. He wasn't a natural, but with hard work, he could be decent at this.

Damien looked over with a chuckle as she emerged, “Nah, I'm just hanging out with Spiderman up there...” he pointed to Daniel as the other waved down at her. “Will you get down, dumbass? I need to fix your butchery work on your shoulder...”

“Aye, aye captain...” And with that the younger Shea hopped down from the top of the hallway, landing easily with a slight thud on the floor. He sent a grin to Aeryn, “Good morning, darlin, I see you two made up just fine....” He ignored his brother and went into the bathroom for the first aid kit.

“I missed you.....why did I miss you?”

“I missed you too bro. Its an odd thing. Don't ask me.”

````````````````
Keira watched the slow improvement, and knew that over time he would be able to hold his own if needed. She hoped he never needed to...mentally shaking herself she gently corrected him every now and then. “Remember make them solid. You'll rarely use a block on its own. Its usually combined with a punch or kick...” She told him, watching him go through the motions of the blocks with a small nod. “Good, alright, now...” She showed him one last block in the form of her hands over her head in an X, legs bent like a lunge. “Its simple enough, and its reactionary when someones trying to hit you over the head or push you but whats important is putting your weight in your legs and bottom half. Its more of a brace than a block in that way...” she said as she stood, waiting for him to mimic her. She was unfortunately too short to test the stance how she would've liked, but watched to see if his legs shook. He needed a solid base...
Aeryn looked up with a startled laugh. "Guess you weren't kidding, huh?!" She asked Daniel with another laugh. She shook her head with a laugh. "Alright. Zip it spiderman before I freeze you to the ceiling." She threatened him, sounding more like herself. "While you fix up his voo doo work. I'm gonna go gorge on food." She told Damien as she shoved him lightly.
Ben nodded as his eyebrows furrowed in concentration, working hard on getting the moves right. He looked up at her as she showed him the new block. "Got it." He grunted, a light sheen of sweat on his brow. His weight wasn't quite all in his legs and hips in this new block, however.
Damien chuckled as she shoved him, snatching the pin holding her hair up in retaliation before heading into the bathroom, calling back over his shoulder, "I'll be in in a minute....dear God never touch a needle and thread again!" Daniel's laugh echoed in the tiled bathroom, even if he winced a bit as Damien started work.
------------
Keira watched him, nudging him in the shoulder which made him stumble a bit, "You need a solid base. I shouldn't be able to move you that easily." She told him simply, "Remember, weight in your bottom half." she repeated, stepping back as he did it again. She saw the faint gleam of sweat on his brow and frowned a bit; they had a lot of work to do....and no time to do it in. He was trying, at the very least, that much she could tell. She walked up next to him and waited before pushing his shoulder again.
Aeryn whipped her head around and glared at Damien. "Expect payback, Shea!" She threatened him. Hmmm... maybe she should eat all of the food in payback...
Getting a plate, she stacked it full of food, leaving very little for Damien. "Pretty much just one measly piece of french toast. It would serve him right. Smirking she began eating her food happily, in a good mood. Maybe, maybe things wouldn't be so bad afterall...
Ben stumbled, a frown on his face as she shoved him. Shifting and fixing his stance and weight, he didn't budge when she shoved him again. "Better." He said as he flashed a small smile. He was honestly doing better, and learning faster than he thought he would.
Damien walked back out a few minutes later, Daniel going off two snatch clothing from his brother and dress for the day. He saw the one piece of French Toast left and frowned, “That's just not cool, Snow...” He huffed, but, more to throw her off, kissed her neck right where he'd gotten a reaction the night before leaning against the opposite counter and eating his serving contently. Hey, at least she left him something. “And voodoo was putting my brother's hatchet work nicely...” he shook his head with a sigh, grabbing the laptop from the small side table and waited for it to start up.
-------------
Keira flashed him a small smile back, “Better.” she repeated, before walking over to the other side of the mat, fixing her hair as she did so. She looked back to him then, “Come on, Vegas, give me your best shot.” she let a smirk emerge on her lip as she crouched. He had to practice combining the skills. This would be fun....for her at least.
