((Because I couldn't get her to stay still... v.v Sorry ))

Late that night, when everybody was passed out, Aeryn was wide awake. She had snoozed lightly earlier, but she just felt weird sleeping in a bed with someone. It scared her, to be honest. Normally by now, she was gone. Yet why did she want to stay? Her eyes darted over to Damien, who she knew was sound asleep. She studied him from what she could with just the moonlight. Making up her mind, she kissed his chest lightly before untangling himself from her. Making sure he was still asleep, she sat up, and began to move around the room quietly looking for her clothes. Quickly getting dressed, she moved over to the door. Pausing, she looked back over at Damien with a confused look on her face, feeling tormented. Why did she want to stay? Staying would just be a bad idea. So that was out. Sighing quietly, she opened the door, ready to slip out. She would just sleep on the couch or something. It would be better. That's what she kept telling herself.

Ysabel woke up feeling like she was on fire. Wiping the sweat from her brow with a groan, she peaked open and eye to check the time. 10 in the morning? Cursing in Spanish, she rolled out of bed blearily. She hadn't woken up this late in a long time. Stumbling to her bathroom, she started up her shower, feeling like her stomach was eating itself. Jesus Christ, she needed food!

Finishing her shower, she wrapped her towel around herself and headed to her kitchen. That's when she remembered that she didn't have anything to eat. Cursing some more, she headed back to her bedroom. She would have to go get something then. Scrounging through her boxes, she found something suitable to wear and quickly changed. Heading back into the bathroom, she put on some make-up and made herself look presentable.

Soon enough, she was leaving her apartment, and was in her car heading to the closest place that served Breakfast.

Damien had fallen asleep rather quickly, but he had never been a deep sleeper. He felt his arm fall against the bed and grumbled a bit. He felt himself get warmer, the cool body beside him gone. He sat up as he heard the door, blinking blearily into the dark. "Aeryn?" he yawned, shaking his head a little to try and focus his vision. It was useless for the moment, he had had about as much sleep in the last two days as his brother. All due to the girl who was trying to sneak out of his room...."What is...what are you doing?"

Aeryn paused, cursing silently to herself as she heard Damien speak up. Damn it! She thought he was asleep. "It's fine, Damien. Just go back to sleep." she told him a quiet, gentle voice. She had even used his actual name. She hoped he would do as she said, and she could leave without making a scene. Of course, it would have been even easier if he had just stayed asleep.

Adam's night wasn't very eventful. He spent the first half of it at the office, burning through contact after contact. Of course nothing was coming through. That would be far too easy. So, around midnight, he'd left the precinct and had gone back to his apartment with no more knowledge about any secret government holding facility than he'd started out with. This wasn't a surprise, but it was disappointing to a certain degree.

After his usual five hours of sleep, he woke, showered, and cleaned up his apartment. It was modest...on an officer's budget it had to be....but it was nice enough that he was proud of it. Better than some, far worse than others.

Before he knew it, was 8am. Morning run was a little late...but.... he didn't seem to mind. After switching into his running attire, he stuck his feet in his Adidas runners and headed out the door.

A couple hours later, he came to a small cafe, barely even noticeable among the four billion other places in LA to eat in the morning. He slowed down in front of it and headed in, figuring a quick breakfast wouldn't hurt.

The waitress sat him with a smile; she recognized him. His order was always the same, even though he wasn't a daily here or anything. Once a week at most. He sat back in his chair, just waiting for the protein-rich omelet to be ready.

Damien leaned forward, forearms on his knees. He sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. He didn't know what to do with her to be perfectly honest. "Aeryn....." he was obviously tired, but she couldn't tell anything else in the dark. "Where are you going....?"

Ysabel had only been driving for a couple of minutes when a small place caught her eye. It looked perfect. Finding a place to park, she set the alarm on her car, knowing that if anybody stole, she'd cut their heart out. Her car was her baby. She worked very hard to afford it back when she had her shitty salary.

Just then, her phone went out. Pulling it out of her pocket, she answered it. It was her abuela, smiling, she began to talk about her time here in LA, speaking in rapid fire Spanish, since her abuela hated using English. Kind of dumb since she lived in America now, but she guessed it made sense.

Walking into the small diner, she didn't even notice the patrons as she held up one finger for the waitress her led her to the table right across from Adam's. Laughing at something her abuela said, she shook her head and said something at a furiously fast paced voice. Sitting down, she browsed through her menu before nodding her head. Saying good-bye, she hung up her phone and ran her hand through her loose, thick dark wavy hair that was shining in from the sunlight coming through the window.

Aeryn paused, a frown on her lips although Damien couldn't see it. "I was going to go sleep on the couch." she sighed, figuring why the hell she should lie. It's not like he couldn't figure out the truth if he wanted. She was sneakig out. What more did he need to know. It's not like he was like he other guys. She just... didn't know what to do. And she was terrified with the fact that he wasn't like the other men she had slept with. This was unchartered territory. It frightened her. She was getting too close, too fast.

"May I ask the incredibly stupid question of why?" Damien asked, smothering another yawn. He knew she wasn't going to change her ways over night, it didn't mean he wasn't a bit frustrated and even a bit hurt. He wasn't angry, though...

---

Trevor dressed the next morning and headed out, deciding to take a walk before heading over to the resturant to meet up with the creeper. He let his mind mull over the thoughts in his head expecially one; the creep realized he wasn't the one fully in charge of the facility, right? He could give the asswipe all the access he wanted but power?

Aeryn's frown deepened, looking back at Damien before looking away. "It's just... easier." she finished lamely. "I don't..." she huffed in frustration, trying to figure out WHY she was trying to explain this to him. He didn't need to know. "The whole staying over, sleeping in the same bed. Waking up together? It isn't my thing. I..." she bit her lip. "I like you, Damien. A lot. And in my books, that isn't a good thing. It's a very bad thing. I can't... do this. It's fucking with my head." she poorly tried to explain things.

Damien listened as she seemed to be fighting with her words, "Why can't it be a good thing? Why are you over thinking this?" He asked her, running a hand through his hair and debating with himself. He just....didn't get her. Hell, he kind of figured something like this would happen. It was Aeryn after all... "Aeryn...." he sighed, stifling another yawn. He shook his head with a sigh. Was she seriously going to try to reset them to square one?

"Attachments only lead to trouble." Aeryn muttered as she ran her hand through her messy hair. "I'm not overthinking this." She sounded frustrated. She could hear him yawning and sighed. "Look, Shea. You're obviously tired. Why don't you head back to bed?" She told him. "I can head out. And we can... pretend this never happened." She said before wincing at her words. She didn't think she could forget tonight if she tried. That therein lied the problem. "God, I'm doing horrible at this." She muttered.
