Claire was already past the point of hearing Keira when she came to the table. She was frustrated...but she had heard something. And she was going to use that something. Rave, huh? Time to pay a visit to Carlos.

She was just about to pull open the door to the diner when the door was pushed open for her. In walked three fully-uniformed officers....and one of them was one she was rather happy to see.

Adam simply glanced at her, pausing beside her. "Fancy meeting you here."

Claire's smile grew a little. "You traced me, didn't you?"

Adam's hazel eyes looked out over the diner. It didn't take him long to hone in on one particular table. "I did no such thing. Leaving?"

"....Not now."

"Good choice." He started walking toward the table, watching as a girl smeared chocolate all over a man's face. "That's a good look for you, Shea." He stopped only a foot or so away from the table, eyes focused in on Damien.

Keira laughed, taking a moment to squat beside the table, "I can think of worse situations...." she froze, looking over her shoulder as Adam entered. Why did everyone have to come HERE?! She looked back to Ben, then, her voice soft and quick. "Keep your head down around him. He gets too close to us. Like a game of sorts for him." She stood then, clearing Claire's uneaten food before taking his hand with her free one, slipping a note into his hand as she smiled at him. "Well you take your time Vegas, I'll be back in a bit." she winked, heading into the kitchen with an uneasy stomach. The note simply read, "Don't freak. I'm here to help. I'm like you. If you stay, I'll explain everything."

Damien went to answer Aeryn when Adam crossed his path. He simply chuckled, emerald eyes looking at the detective before returning his attention to his drink, unfazed by his comment. "Well thank you, Adam." he mused as he wiped his face clean before chuckling. "you know, my face may be dirty, but you look like the one who just ate a steaming pile of shit this morning." he looked up to see one of the other officers start. "oh save your breath....you'll need it to blow up your date later." He chuckled softly, leaning back once more, "Ever figure out who the murderer was? Or was I so much on your mind you simply had to come find me?"

He looked to Claire then, apologetically, "Honestly dear, you could do better than the oaf." (-face palm- he has no filter...)

Keira stepped in then, smiling at the new group, whistling for their attention. "Hey, y'all. I have your booth over this way if you'd follow me." she offered, one hand on her hip, the other holding menus. "Y'all can bicker over who has the bigger horse later. Right now you three look absolutely starved!" she added, an attractive smile upon her lips. She may have been 19, but her body and attitude told a very different story.

Ben blinked as his waitress started to speak gibberous. Them? What? What the hell was she going on about. It wasn't until she slipped something into his that he froze. What the hell? Keeping calm, he kept to himself cool, looking inconspicous as he continued to eat his food. He slipped the note into his pocket. He'd read it when the asshole wasn't around.

Aeryn stiffened at the sound of the other voice. She placed the fork in her hand down, no longer the same girl. She froze and shut off herself completely. She had to place her hands in her lap as clenched her hands angrily. She did her best to keep her temper under taps. She looked over as Kiera came up to try and diffused the situation. It would be best for everyone if she kept her mouth shut.

Adam merely remained standing, arms folded across his chest. The men beside him he could literally taste their agitation, but Adam knew how to deal with Damien. He had been for a while now; yet he always seemed to get away. Odd how that worked. Claire was convinced there was something strange about Damien, but Adam knew better.

He looked over at Keira as she approached. He'd seen her countless times with Damien, but he'd never given her much forethought. "Yes. Why don't you two go sit down," he said, more like instructed the other two officers. "I'll join momentarily."

The officers obeyed Adam's instructions, even if they were begrudgingly.

Claire, however, walked up closer to the table, watching in the interaction. She KNEW she'd seen that man before... "I don't know if I could, really. Besides, he's good at what he does,' she said, perhaps offering more insight than was necessary.

Adam pushed her comment off. "How you been, Shea. Staying in trouble, I certainly hope. Too bad we haven't crossed paths recently."

Damien chuckled, sipping at his water, ignoring Claire for the moment and looking to Adam, "I haven't a clue what you mean, Adam. Me? In trouble? Nonsense." He shot him a grin, "aww see you have missed me!"

Keira took the two officers to their booth, handing them their menus and waters. She gave them some time to cool down and look over their orders while she cleaned down the table beside her friends'. She saw Aeryn's expression in reaction to the other two as Damien kept a wavelength on her.

Damien looked back at the pair, "Now, as much as i would love to continue this lovely chat, you are upsetting my beautiful date." He gestured to Ayern, donning Kiera's cue.

"Officer? I really am sorry but if you dont sit with your commrads I'm going to have to ask you to leave." She said, obviously not afraid of the man who towered over her. If you looked around, there suddenly gazes on them from various tables. "Youre causing a disription. Now, unless hes done something wrong, please follow me and i'll get you and youre friends set up." She smiled sweetly, looking to Claire then. "Will you be joining them miss?" She asked her.

Aeryn kept quiet, though her eyes did narrow ever so slightly when Damien called her his date. It irked her, but she knew he did it on purpose. She just kept her words to herself as she flexed her fingers, trying not to frown when she felt ice forming around them. Taking a slow deep breath, she focused on keeping calm as the ice quickly vanished. God her temper was horrible. Her lack of control had always frightened her. She could do this. Keep calm. It wasn't so hard.

Damien kept an eye on Aeryn, silently communicating with Kiera, You going to be okay if we get going in a bit?

I'll be fine. Nothing I can't handle. As soon as I get him to move I'll be able to keep control of her. Just go up to Lorie, she'll give you the check. Just get her out of here once you can. She needs to calm down before tonight. Keira wanted to lay a reassuring hand on her friend's shoulder but knew it probably wouldn't be wise. The sooner she led Adam to his comrads, the better.

He adressed Aeryn then, Once they leave, we'll grab the check and head out, ok?

Adam's lips twitched as he watched them. "I would love to be able to sit down and enjoy a mediocre dinner at a shithole diner...but unfortunately I have business to attend to," he said as he pulled two folded sheets of paper from his back pocket. "Unfortunately, I have two things here. One is a search warrant...of you, Shea. I have legal authorization to check your person. The second...is a warrant for your arrest. Oddly enough, I'd like to pass on the first if you'll come without making a scene for the second."

"Adam..." Claire mumbled admonishingly. What the hell was he doing?! She looked to Keira, clearly just as surprised as the next guy.

Adam ignored her, moving his eyes from the pretty blonde back to Damien. "So what will it be, Shea. Complicated or easy. I've had a long day. Make your choice quickly."

Aeryn's eyes flicked over to Damien as he spoke her mind. She didn't even acknowledge him outwardly. Yea okay I was- WHAT THE FUCK?! she shouted in her mind as she turned sharply at the cops words. Warrant for a search? Warrant for arrest?! Her nostrils flared, as she felt ice cover her hands again. She clenched them very tightly as her eyes flashed. God no no no no. Keep control. Keep control. She repeated the mantra over and over in her head.

She struggled to tap her temper down as she felt the ice rushing through her veins. She looked back over at Damien before Kiera, the the journalist, and finally back over to the cop. At least the journalist had the guts to look surprised at the words.

Damien looked up at him as he proceeded to ruin his dinner. He stood up and spread his arms wide, "I know you're desperate, Adam, but really. You're a joke." he rolled his eyes. He'd given the score from earlier to Kiera, so all he had on him was his wallet. Cell phone he'd left a home.

Kiera stepped in between the boys, though, hand out in front of her. "Warrents. Now." she demanded. For a tiny little blonde thing she had a bite to her. "He's not going anywhere until I see them. As his sister I believe I have some right to know why you're hauling him away when he's done nothing wrong." she added, ignoring Damien as she looked to Adam expectantly.
