Alexei grinned, his grin widening as she kissed him on the cheek. Looking over at his siter, he stuck his tongue out at her as if to say he was making better progress than her. Kira merely rolled her eyes at him as he got up and moved to go get ready himself.

Kira blinked at Jeremy's words before pouting. "But it wouldn't be very fun for me!" she called out to him, having now shame and watching his shirtless body walk down the hallway. She did have to admit that he had one hell of a body.

Shaking herself out of it, she skipped to her room and studied the clothes in her closet. At first she couldn't decide before she finally pulled out a black top with cute heels and dark skinny jeans.

Quickly changing, she ran a brush through her long brown hair and using her straightner. Once she was satisfied that it was straight enough, she washed her face and applied fresh makeup.

When she walked back out, she shrugged at Jeremy's words. "How many times do we have to say that we didn't mean to?" she asked as Alex passed by, pausing at the music.

"Good song." was all he said before moving to wait in the living room, already wearing a nice pair of jeans and another worn looking tshirt, but this one a red colour.

Jeremy emerged from the hall, decked out in a black blazer, crimson button down shirt and crisp new jeans. Overall, he looked as if he just stepped out of a magazine advertizement. Grace followed right behind him, her black dress and jackets clinging to all the right spots and designer heels adding a good four inches. Both were obviously dressed for work rather than a burger joint.

Grace shot Kira's outfit a once-over and simply rolled her eyes. “I better not find a guy wandering around our apartment in the morning.” she said, pointing at the other girl with her bag.

Jeremy chuckled; Grace was the youngest, but she'd had the most growing up to do in the shortest amount of time. She was the most responsible by far, and she never left anything up to chance. “That's some outfit for a waitress...”

Grace laughed, “I meant to tell you I got promoted to maitre d'....” she shrugged, “The old girl quit and my boss offered it to me. Hence the getup.” She looked to the twins, “You guys ready?”

Kira pouted as she looked down at her outfit. "I thought this was rather tame! And it was only that one time!" she said as she looked around and inspected everyone before pausing. "You got a promotion?! YAY! Congrats Grace!" Kira cheered as Alexei grinned.

"Congratulations. Now can we go? I'm hungry and I still have my workout I need to do once we get home." he said as Kira rolled her eyes.

"Ooh God, just shut up now." Kira mumbled. "This just means we have extra reason to eat out! Celebrate Grace's promotion! We should pretend it's your birthday. SO we get a free dessert." Kira grinned at her as she hooked her arm through Grace's. Steering her to the door, she left the boys standing there as Alex shrugged.

"Hey Biggs, you don't mind if I drop Kira off at your show do you? I can't look after her while I'm training and she never gets tired of your shows." he asked once the girls were out of hearing distance.

Grace smiled a bit, rolling her eyes at Kira as she was led out of the apartment by the other girl. They heard a wolf-whistle from two guys who lived in the apartment down the hall, “Keep moving stop drooling....” she said, taking the girl by the elbow and leading her down the stairs.

Jeremy shook his head, “Nah, if you do me a favor in return.” He paused to lock the door behind them, “Check in on Grace sometime tonight. She claims there is nothing to worry about where she works but I don't like the boss. Something is just off about him.” He replied, following the echoes of the girls' heels and keeping just out of earshot.

"Awww!" Kira pouted but smiled as she followed along with Grace, putting a little spring in her step. "So... you know what I was thinking? YOu need a man in your life! Jeremy and Alex don't count." she told her with a grin. "I can easily search for you. Of course I gotta do background checks first to make sure it's safe! But... this is thought."

Alex grinned as he gave Jeremy a nod. "Not a problem. Being chaperone can be kind of fun. Besides, none of us should really be alone at the moment, being at a job or not. It's getting worst, and I really don't like this. I mean... why now?"

Grace paused, looking at Kira as if she had ten heads, “A guy in my...Kira you're off your rocker.” She mumbled, turning slightly pink. “I've been perfectly fine single.....why the sudden interest in my love life anyway.” She asked as they headed down the next flight of stairs. She hated the idea of being set up with someone from Kira.....

Jeremy shrugged, “More and more scientists are making “break-through” discoveries about our gene mutations, causing more and more stirring up the people that would rather hunt us for sports or turn us into weapons.” he told the younger guy, giving a small shrug. “All we know is that we don't know squat. Maybe its one group of radicals, maybe its the government....No one knows and anyone who does know isn't speaking.”

"Well... I've ALWAYS had an interest! You just always seem so.. alone besides us. It makes me sad. Everyone needs a man to come home to at night who will wrap his big arms around you and make you feel like you're the most important thing in the whole entire world!" Kira exclaimed with a smile. So... she was a closet romantic. Big deal. "Doesn't that sound even remotely appealing?"

Alexei pondered that thought for a moment, his mind seeing a mad scientiest cackling insanely as he operated on his body. Weird...

"Ever get the feeling that everything's about to go to hell?" he asked as he mused it over some more. This should be fun...

Grace turned redder the more Kira spoke, “I'm not going to deny it sounds....appealing.” She turned to Kira then, “But, we obviously have much more pressing matters at hand.” she rambled on, obviously trying to dodge the subject. She'd never admitted to Kira or anyone else at the house she was still, well, rather innocent.....

“I make my audience believe that every night....” He laughed, “but, yes, I feel that way every time I hear another has disappeared. Wondering who is next.....which is why I don't want anyone wandering out on their own.”

"Well, the disappearances is the most important thing right now, but you guys are taking caring of it. I'm the person in the story who is comic relief! Well I FIND us the comic relief. We can't be so serious all the town If we do that... well then pretty soon we're gonna crack and we're just too damn beautiful... and handsome" she tacked the last part on as an aftethought. "To crack!" she cast Grace a grin, not saying anything about her red cheeks.

Alexei laughed as well before nodding. "Well I guess all we can do is our best. Such morbid topics! We need a new one. I'm still seeing that mad scientist and it really is just not that appealing."

Grace smiled a little bit, giving her friend a small shrug, “I-” Her eyes caught on the guy passing, a coy smile on his lips in return. He was a regular at the restaurant, and on more than one occasion, had asked for her particularly. She turned brilliant red and looked back to Kira, “I agree you are the comic relief of the group and the boys are taking their sweet time...” she sighed, “but, my love life isn't of your concern.” She fidgeted with the hem of her jacket.

Jeremy chuckled, “Welcome to reality, youngin...” he mused as they headed down the last set of stairs. “Hopefully dinner will inspire lighter topics, or you can just grin stupidly at Grace the whole night which seems to be your normal.” he added with a small smirk.
